Generally place is OK BUT high speed Internet is a total joke. We'll need a cellular connection!!!!! If wifi Internet is important to you, the this is NOT the place.

While I did enjoy staying here for 3 nights, The "Americainn bans gun on these premises" was a let down because I'm sick of all the "PC" anti-gun propaganda. I'd expect that in Oregon, but not MN. Not that I had a gun on me, but I firmly believe in the right to bear arms.

That said; the beds were very comfortable and they only charged me $10 for a roll-away bed for my cousins 9-year old son, so she and I could have our own queen sized beds (well, she had to share hers with her other son, but I got my own).

The staff was extremely pleasant as well and check-in and check-out was super fast.

I totally appreciate a complimentary hot breakfast (which is much better than just coffee or coffee and fruit) which they provide in their dining area. Each morning, I made my own waffle and took a hearty helping of potatoes and eggs, as well as yogurt and flavored (Torani pumpkin spice and caramel) coffee. The day we checked out, they served biscuits and gravy; my favorite!

Free wi-fi was a really BIG, unexpected bonus.

The indoor pool stayed open until 11 pm, which is great for kids because it gives them a chance to get out all their remaining energy before hitting the hay. It also gave us grown-up's some down time to soak in the hot-tub while watching the kids at a safe and splash-free distance of about 20 feet.

I feel like we got a really good deal on the price too, for as close to the Mall of America as we were. In fact, we were fairly centrally located to the zoo and water park as well.
Besides all that. I'd recommend this hotel to others because it was clean, comfy and quiet.
