Rooms are large, clean and up to date. Very nice amenities and a good location between the suburbs and the city. They even have a shuttle to the mall or any place within 5 miles. The food is pretty expensive, but the executive lounge and restaurant area are very nice.

Scored a room for three nights here over a recent weekend on Priceline for all of $50. A very new-feeling hotel with just enough upscale vibe to make me comfortable, yet not so much that I feel uncomfortable wandering in at midnight in jeans and a T-shirt. Rooms are on the small side, but tidy and had all the trimmings of a solid 3+ star hotel. The on-site restaurant "Bloomington Chophouse" is obviously a draw with the locals and ensures that the front parking lot is packed on weekend evenings. Luckily there's a large multi-level lot out back for overflow.

Reasonably price great rooms and friendly staff.  Pretty good location too.  Was happy with my stay and would consider it again.

This Hilton was ok, but I liked the one by Mall of America better. The staff here was not very friendly, treating me like a second class citizen because I was only a blue member instead of a gold member in their points program. The room seemed clean, but we noticed a pair of "hooker" shoes as my wife called them in the room on the floor when we checked in, so that calls into question if our room was really cleaned at all. The breakfast was 15$ a person and it didn't look very good, so we skipped it. The price was good, but I would look at another Hilton if I was headed in this area again.

Nice hotel with a couple of service slip-ups. Booked a room here through Priceline which called it a 4-star hotel. It was perfectly nice, but I would rate the room itself as 4-/3+ stars. Upper mid-range and perfectly adequate. The location is very convenient to the airport and west Mpls & suburbs. The reason I'm writing a review is because of a couple of service slip-ups. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:00 am to clean the room, then again at 9:00 am. Although it was a Monday (business day), 8:00 seems pretty early to me. Then to be bugged an hour later added further annoyance. FWIW, we were trying to sleep in. They were apologetic at the front desk, but It still seems like something that shouldn't have happened at a "four-star" hotel.

I Pricelined this Hilton and got it for $45...Oh my goodness.  It's a gorgeous place! Nice stay!!

It gets pretty crowded in the main parking lot as they share part of it with the restaurant that is in there.  There is a parking garage around back so utilize that!! The only bad thing is that the elevator near the garage does not go past the first floor so you have to walk ALL the way to the lobby to get to the main elevators...ughh.  Sucks if you have lots of luggage.

    Other than that, fantastic stay.

Oh, Mall of America is about 8 miles away.  You can take their shuttle to the Mall.  However, the drive is not bad.

I booked this hotel online for a one night stay as a part of a trip to Minneapolis for my Mom's 60th birthday.  The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff is really friendly.  The woman that checked us in made Mom's day by recognizing her birthday and giving her a VIP upgrade for breakfast.  Great customer service really does boil down to the little things some times...making a guest feel special.  Wow!  Way to go Hilton staff.  Thank you so much for making a special day even more special.

Great hotel not to far from MSP.  This Hilton is very new and has a nice restaurant/lunge in the lobby.  If you need to stay at a Hilton property for the points, this is the best option in the MSP area.  The Hilton that is just across the highway from MSP is much older and there is nothing close to it.  This is a better option.

I want to give this place 4 out of 5, but there are so many little things about the place that bother me, I find it hard to give it anything better than a 3 rating.
Issue one... I think the towels can best be describes as being as soft as the back side of a porcupine. Seriously, I have worked with sand paper, the rough grade, that is softer than the towels in the room.
Issue two... Low flow shower. I hate them. Takes twice as long to shower, completely defeating the purpose of the water low flow is trying to save.
Issue three... The pillows are flat as a board. King size beds get 4 pillows, and you need close to 3 just to make a single fluffy pillow.

Now the perks. Rooms are clean, the hotels is clean and quiet and the staff is super nice.

I would bring your own towel and pillow. It is a nice place to stay for a few days, easy on and off 494, about 10 minutes down the road from the Mall of America.

The hotel offers free WiFi to all paying guests.

It was really nice, clean, modern. My boss booked three nights off travelocity for around $112 w/ tax, and then I had to extend my stay and when I went to Hilton online it was going for $169, so I called the front desk and the manager there dropped it 40 bucks so I was really happy with them.

Splurge on the Chophouse, at least once.

I just wish they had a microwave and/or fridge. Esp. the fridge, they didn't even have a minibar I could take everything out of and use as a temporary fridge!

I am a fan of the Hiltons! (Hotels, not the family)

This one in MInneapolis is a fairly new hotel, or so I'm told, so it is a little more up-to-date than some of the others.  Of course, the outlets everywhere you need them, not behind the bed, or in some other awkward place you have to get on your hands and knees to get to.  Think on the bedside table lamp or on the desk surface, perfect!

Room looks clean and clutter free, but all the same stuff is still there, just "put away" the mini lavAzza coffee and tea maker, all hidden in a shelf o the waist high TV stand (flat screen HD I might add).

Friendly staff and the bar right next to the elevators serves Starbucks coffee for that quick fix on your way to work in the morning.

Nice 24-hour fitness center with late model Precor equipment. Four treadmills, three ellipticals, weights, a few machines, TV, towels, and water.

I know it sounds silly, but my favorite part is the very spacious bathroom with a fan (so many hotels don't have that anymore)!

A few co-workers stayed at a different hotel down the street because that is what they are used to.  At first they were giving me a hard time saying that their hotel was better.  The next day, when I told them how awesome the Hilton was, they almost considered changing.  I'm sure they will next time they come back.  Just goes to show that it pays to try new things and to do your (Yelp) research!

Had dinner in a banquet room. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake. It was delicious. Unfortunately it was the only part of dinner that good. The salmon was dry and over cooked. The wild rice was tasteless.

Then again it was a banquet. Not a real restaurant.

CLEAN!  I thought it was a new Hilton and the person working at the front desk (James?) advised that the hotel was 8 years of age.  The personnel were friendly.  I am HIGHLY allergic to feathers/down and within minutes of check-in the housekeeping staff was changing the bed with foam pillows and polyester blankets and removing the feathered items.  The room was spacious. And unlike so many hotels that currently only allow the heating/cooling fan to run with the temperature is changing, I could leave the fan on for the "white noise" effect to help me sleep. I booked the room with a very good price through Priceline.  I'd stay here again.  (NOTE: I was in a handicapped room and they need to put in a new shower curtain. The one in the room is the length for when there is a bathtub, so it is about 8 inches short of the floor and water from the shower went everywhere.)

Always packed and service can be iffy.  The hotel facilities are great but it is a bit high priced, even for a Hilton.  One of the hotels you can be trapped - just not a lot of options for eating without significant travel (although Chop House is great)

I go to Minneapolis just about every week. I've been looking for a good, clean, good-service, consistent Hilton hotel that I can go back to, and I've found it!

Check-in: Great staff. They are always attentive and friendly. I do have HHonors diamond status and frequently get upgraded, but I have stayed in "regular" rooms and the quality of the rooms are consistent.

Rooms: Very clean! It doesn't really matter which side of the hotel your room is on- you get a pretty good view of the great little suburb of Edina. Sheets and towels are always clean (based on my past 4 separate stays there). There are no tubs- just stand-up showers in all of the rooms I've stayed at. And the hairdryers here actually DO blow out air.

Lounge: if you have access to the executive lounge on the second floor, it's one of the better ones I've seen compared to other Hilton hotels in the area.  Unlike many others, there is wine, beer, AND liquor with a wide assortment of mixers.  The evening reception is great- I've had wraps, sandwiches, pasta salads, pot stickers, etc there. You can also order from the Chop House/Olive lounge menu from the lounge. Comfortale and clean tables/chairs overlooking the city, you'll find many guests come down and really hang out there. There are also 2 computers with printer access so that you don't have to haul yourself down to the business center. For breakfast, there's always scrambled eggs, assortment of donuts/danish, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, all the juices you can imagine, fresh fruit, and some kind of a breakfast meat or a sweet (i.e. french toast).

    Parking: free surface parking!

Fitness center: It has 3 ellipticals, 4 treadmills, and a bike. Also, free weights and one of those 3-in-1 weight machines. It's rather large compared to other Hilton Hotels' fitness centers in the area and there's enough open space for you to do some floor excercises, have someone do jump ropes without anyone feeling claustrophobic.

    Check-out: a breeze.

Why I didn't get them 5 stars? Well, although I love this hotel, I haven't had an over-the-top service or experience that I think is necessary for 5 stars.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL PLACE.  We attempted to check in about 2:30 pm on a Saturday and no room were available and the front desk person was rude, After checking in the room was ice cold and the heater did not seem to work. we called to ask them to look at it. They said the engineer would be up soon. An hour later called back and got the same message. Called again and was told "Oh, the entire heating system is down for maintenance". Then much later we were told that they don't heat the hotel if the temperature outside is above 40 degrees. What!!!  I have to wait for the outside air to get down below 40 to get heat.

Our room seems to be about 65 degrees and there is nothing we can do until the sun goes down.

    Horrible place

Very nice Hilton.  I've stayed at many Hiltons and Starwoods (W, Westin, Sheraton) around the US, and this is an inviting, upscale hotel with a pronounced emphasis on friendly and attentive customer service.

Contemporary and soothing room decor (browns, tans, greens) in a sweet fungshway way (I'm sure of my spelling!): granite vanity tops, great linens and bedding, excellent blackout blinds for the most unfortunate Tuesday morning hangover..., nice flat screens, extremely clean rooms and hallways.  Good workstation desks and overall comfort that is rare for a moderate to slightly expensive hotel.  Rooms are in A+ condition.

Service is in a word, Outstanding.  Very nice, helpful staff regardless of the shift or hour.  Gym is sufficient for a good workout; new equipment.  Onsite indoor pool: small but decent, only wish they had a sauna to complement the other exercise amenities.

Chop House Restaurant is unbelievable in its upscale food (steaks are memorable), ambiance and service.  Worth the splurge, trust me.  Olive Bar and Pub has good to excellent "pub food" and local Minnesota craft draft beers.

Seriously, what more could you want in a hotel...  I bet I can even get a damn good shoe shine if needed.  Love this place.  If you want an ultra-clean room, maximum comfort and feeling of well-being, I don't think you'll find a better value on the MSP/Airport/Mall of America corridor.  Highly recommend!

Happy Thanksgiving! Traveling back to CA and pre-booked this hotel for our return flight. Hotel has modern decor, lobby, and amenities. There is a restaurant and gift shop in the lobby, very convenient. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Our room has a new flat screen TV, mini fridge, desk area, and additional seating. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Staff has also been very friendly. The pool and hot tub are nice, but a bit too much chlorine in the hot tub...eyes were burning after a few minutes. It has a good size fitness center with newer equipment near the pool. The location was easy to locate off the freeway and is only 10-12 minutes to the airport. So far we have enjoyed our stay.

I have not stayed at many Hiltons, but this one makes me want to stay at more of them!  This is one of the nicest experiences I've had at a hotel.

First of all, their staff is amazingly friendly and helpful.  The front desk is great- one of the ladies even remembered what room we were staying in after not seeing her for 2 days!  I asked one of the gentlemen one day if I could have the number of a cab company and instead he offered to see if it was close enough that he could drive me there in their shuttle.  The housekeeper on our floor, Fawn, was incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcomed, and John at the Olive bar was really great too- remembering that I was working from the hotel so always asked if I wanted my lunch to go.

Can't beat the food here- Olive Bar has a solid breakfast and lunch menu, and the Bloomington Chop House is an upscale steakhouse with very good service and even better food.  The Executive Lounge is great for a quick bite- breakfast is high quality (even the eggs which, at most hotels, are usually a rubbery mess), and cocktail hour has hors d'oeuvres above and beyond your usual cheese plate.

Used the fitness center a couple of times, they have 3 ellipticals and 3 treadmills, weights and a bowflex-esque machine.  There is also an indoor pool and hot tub.

Last but not least, the room we had was spacious, clean, and the bed was beyond comfortable.  This hotel has everything you need- and when it's -12 degrees outside, you can't beat a hotel that you never have to leave (or want to leave!).

Though I try not to be too nit-pickey this hotel stay was ridiculously bad.  First things first they neglected to tell me that they were doing construction from the hours of 8:00 - 5:00 on the 6th floor during my stay. This would not have been an issue except that they put me on the 5th floor. I was traveling for work and trying to have conference calls while construction is going on 3 feet above you head is impossible. I tried calling for some relief several times to the front desk with no luck.

This made of of the other things wrong with this hotel unbearable. The shower was clogged or had a slow drain or something so I basically was showering and taking a bath at the same time.

The TV/Cable service was a complete disaster, I've stayed in hundreds of rooms and have never been so frustrated by a TV. Approx. 60% of the channels are just this colored static. There were only about 50 channels and 30 of them would just be this colorful fuzz.

On a positive note the staff seemed friendly and the room was clean. I usually stay in Eden Prairie when i travel to the cities but wanted to change it up. Huge Mistake. I won't be staying at this hilton again.

Stayed here again on a weeknight so was able to get access to the Executive Lounge.  Let me tell you that this is much better 2 complimentary drinks and 1 appetizer at the Olive Lounge.  First off, I had to take a dip in the pool to relax and then was ready for some small eats.  The appetizers were some meatballs in BBQ sauce which were amazing good.  Also, there was a pasta salad with broccoli crowns, green/red peppers, etc.  which was good as well.  I had to dig for the broccoli since it seemed to be heavy on the pasta.  Otherwise, the lounge exceeded my expectations with a nice balance of meat and vegetables.  There was a transparent fridge below for beer, water, and soda.  At the counter was an array of wine, liquor to make your own drinks.  No extra charge like the Hilton Marquette in downtown Minneapolis.

My room again was on Executive 11th Floor and noticed missing body wash.  Called the front desk and was given soap since the guy from housekeeping said there was none.  The next morning, I noticed housekeeping on my floor and asked her for some body wash.  She said that her cart didn't have any so she would rush to 4th floor (remembered seeing some).  Oh my, she ran to the elevator to grab me a couple of body washes.  That's service:)  I ended up tipping housekeeping for going the extra mile.

Breakfast on the Executive Lounge was amazing.  Exactly the same as the weekend buffet for $11.  There were scrambled eggs, bacon, as well as Irish steel cut oatmeal.  There was not the omelete made-to-order grill but that was fine by me.  The scrambled eggs were nice with some green onions and a little cheese.  There was even greek yogurt and added some granola to it:)  Plenty of fruits which was wonderful- honeydew, cantalope, strawberries, and pineapple.  Great coffee/tea assortment as well as fruit basket with oranges, bananas, etc.

Room was clean. Washable cover on bedspread so i felt free to have contact with it. Free wifi. Staff attentive. Food was excellent. Steak done to perfection and presentation added to my enjoyment of it  i always like to see little touches thati would not do at home. Three fluffy pillows on bed. Even had an outlet on bed stand for cell phone chargers. The stairs from parking lot to hotel were a little iffy in snowy weather but they were salted.

Pretty nice new Hilton - modern, either new or recently refreshed, with the things that make me like Hilton, like comfortable beds. Although, this one doesn't have fitted sheets, which you know I hate if you have read any of my other hotel reviews. However, they were nowhere near as bad as those at the nearby Sheraton, as I think they are actually using sheets that fit the beds. What a crazy idea!

They have a decent little breakfast spread, nothing insane, but it's got yogurt and bagels so I'm all set. There is a restaurant onsite that others reported was good, but which I did not try. Basically, this is a normal hotel. I still think it's pricey (and it was especially so when I was there, due to something crazy going on that week) for what it is, but it at least was more comfortable at that high price than the nearby Sheraton was.

My stay at this Hilton has been a great stay. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Every time I passed by any worker I was greeted. And the staff at the front desk was VERY friendly.

The hotel is walking distance to a Denny's and a sports bar, but the hotel offers a shuttle that takes you to Mall of America and a free airport shuttle as well.

The gym is very modern and spacious for a hotel gym.

This hotel is fairly new. I'm thinking maybe 4 or 5 years old if I'm correct.

Great location. If I have the opportunity I will definitely stay again.

    So close!

I love this property, but I have to remove one from the coveted five-star rating over something petty -- water.

This hotel has some sort of water softener installed, so that you can can NEVER rinse soap off and it leaves a slimy film feeling on you. HUGE pet peeve of mine. I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard during a root canal. So they lose a star.

Everything else was top-notch. The staff was as friendly as they could be. The location was stellar and across the street from two restaurants (and a great one inside.)

The bed was perfect, and had my extra pillow request in my room before I checked in. Wifi was free and not terribly slow! There was even a mini-fridge in the room. Awesomeness :-)

Plenty of outlets in the right places. Quiet rooms.

I'm a big fan, but unless that water hardness situation get fixed, I will probably have to find another hotel.
