So on sunday my house caught on fire and I am staying here-- actually I am writing this from my Best Western room.  So, why do they get two stars? Easy--  my dog could come with me.
Why not more stars?  Easy--  100000 semi trucks outside my window and motorcycles going alnight long in the parking lot.

Not much to say here.  My parents stayed here while visiting and because we were up late talking, I ended up staying the night here as well.  Standard budget hotel.  Nothing extraordinary.  Nothing horrible.  A decent place to stay with links to the city, especially if you're visiting the universities nearby.

The "High" speed Internet is in fact so slow that it stuck. No microwave in the room. The room is clean. I still think it is overprice.

I've been very happy during my entire 3-night stay here. The room is comfortable and housekeeping doesn't leave the room frigid from AC each day; pleasantly cool I like when I return to my room, freezing I don't. The decor is nice and the lobby is classy and comfortable.

Amenities are great. On-site you can find a Chili's and Van's Tavern (daily happy hour until 7pm); coin-op laundry; 4-piece cardio fitness center; and most impressively, a 1-computer business center with free, color printing on an all-in-one machine AND a large, standalone desktop copier.

Convenient, comfortable, and cordial, I would happily stay here again.

We spent one night here when we were passing through with a U-Haul and our 4 cats.  I picked this place because it accepted pets.  Overall it was definitely adequate.  The rooms were clean and all the pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor.  We were able to park the truck right outside our room and haul the cats and all our stuff in through the patio door.  Very convenient and it would be especially convenient if you were traveling with a dog.

Our only real complaint was we couldn't regulate the temperature in the room at all.  It was a cold night and if we turned the heat on the room instantly became unbearably hot.  That was with the heat turned as low as it could go.  We ended up sleeping with the heat off and it was pretty chilly but better than too hot.

We loved having a restaurant (Chilli's) in easy walking distance.  In face it was pretty much attached to the hotel.

Spent 3 nights for work.  Overly priced for the room but was quiet and close to a lot of restaurants.  Would stay there again for the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel.

Disgusting!!  My wife and I recently attempted to stay here on our voyage across the country.  We killed two ants in our bedroom in the first hour we were there.  We tried to put that past us but then saw two more ants crawling on the walls and on the sink in the bathroom.  And to top that off, we saw a different bug moving across our bed that was definitely not an ant.  Completely soured us on Best Western's moving forward (not that we had a super high opinion on them going into it but only chose it due to their pet friendliness).

This is an excellent facility in all areas, nothing was second rate here, don't miss staying here. It had a pool, laundry facility, workout area, Wi-Fi internet. The staff was friendly, kind and professional! Overall great stay, great facility!

The Best Western Kirkwood Inn in a great property if you are looking for something convenient off the highway but don't want to travel all the way into St. Louis. The check-in process was extremely easy and took about 30 seconds. Basically the clerk got my information, gave me keys, and directed me to where my room was and how best to enter with my stuff. That's how you check someone in!

The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, but the cleanliness was somewhat lacking. There were hairs stuck to the bathroom walls and inside the tub from previous guests. I know it's difficult to grab all those things for the overworked housekeepers that have to clean a certain number of rooms per shift, but it is kind of gross to see nevertheless. We also spotted a cockroach inside the closet that ran into a hole in the wall before we could kill it. Again, probably a very difficult thing for the hotel to control considering how damp and rainy the area is. I didn't say anything to the hotel staff but I'm sure they would have moved me if I asked.

The free breakfast is a great start to your morning--take advantage of it! Get there early and beat the crowd.

We had a wonderful stay here at the end of a long road trip from El Paso to Chicago. Their pet-friendly policy was great, and our room was clean and modern. They also gave a military discount. There was a restaurant nearby called "Rich and Charlie's," where we picked up some decent Italian and a couple drinks at their bar. Otherwise, there is a Chili's basically inside of the hotel, and many other food options nearby.

The breakfast is definitely worth hitting up in the morning. I have a suspicion, however, that they are using generic cereal in the dispensers, with brand-name labels on them. Not a big deal, but I know a bowl of real Froot Loops when I taste it, and something wasn't quite right. Despite this forgivable discrepancy, we would definitely stay here again.
