We really liked this place.  The rooms were super clean.  The front desk staff was friendly.  The internet was fast.  What more can you ask for?

I always like it when the duvet cover is white (as it was here).  It shows me that it's clean.

I'm sure that if we are in the St. Louis area again, we will be back.

Great staff. It does have a hot tub, not sure why someone said that they didn't. We didn't use it because it was filled with kids.  The room was very clean, great bed, fast internet. The doors are thin because I could hear kids running up and down the hallway, which annoyed me to no end (but this was a weekend, and the hotel was filled with kids for some reason).  Breakfast was really, really good. What was great was we were on motorcycles and Cracker Barrel was next door and we could walk :D

Best "pet room" we have ever had to be in. Clean and no sign that other animals had been there. Just its near the door where everyone smokes- so a little bad in the hallways.

Have stayed in regular rooms as well. Comfortable and clean.

It is what it is and a good price.

Breakfast is better than other hotels at that price range.

Big pool- good for families and a good size baby pool. No hot tubs.

I hated, hated, hated this hotel the moment I walked in. Apparently they had a big water leak and the lobby got soaked so the clerk couldn't make a key, so he had to open my room for me. Once I got in the room my experience did not improve. I could hear every word that was being said in the rooms on either side of me plus what they were watching on television. The lighting was so dim it was hard to read and there was no way I was going to get rest, so I packed up and asked for my money back. Well, they had already charged my card for three nights and if I left I was going to be on the hook for that night, so the clerk offered me a room on a different floor with nobody staying on one side and a maintenance closet on the other. I still got a fair amount of noise from upstairs, but it was okay enough for the night and I checked out in the morning. To their credit, I only was charged for the one night and the balance refunded back. Breakfast has a fair amount of choices like eggs, hash browns, and waffles, but the quality is only average. Rates are cheap, but there's a reason: this is not a great hotel. Even if the check in had gone smoothly, there's too much to annoy me to keep me from returning.

    Great deal for the price!
This hotel features an indoor pool, free breakfast and fitness center. Our room was clean and bathroom was large. The room was also stocked with a good amount of towels and pillows in advance.
The breakfast was among the best complimentary self-serve bars I've seen in a long time - plain & strawberry waffles, variety of cooked eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausages, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, and beverages. We did not expect such a variety for the price.

Why people rate this hotel so low is beyond me.

The rooms a nice & up-to-date!  Bathroom is nice also, downside the sink is in the "hall" of the room.

The lobby is nice & spacious.  It gets tight in the morning for breakfast... like most hotels.

Swimming pool is a nice size and has a "large" kiddy pool".  Sad to say, no hot tub!  Was disappointed at how many chemicals were in the water!  Yes, I know you must have chemicals to clean, but you can tone it down a bit!

Downsides:  People jumping & throwing adults and children in the pool so no room to enjoy, relax & swim.  Also very loud woman screaming on her phone in the hall.  (People can be jerks!)  Thankfully the staff to care of these problems!

If in the area & prices stay low... We would likely return to this hotel!

Would rather sleep in my car than stay here. First nite of stay, we woke up in the morning itching, removed the sheets and bed bugs had joined us. Got our money back & stayed at a friends house the remaining time of our visit.

We've stayed here twice and the last time was in the winter when there was a huge snowstorm and we got stuck there longer than we had originally thought. Everyone was super nice the rooms were clean indoor pool (also a small pool just the right size for our 2 year old) awesome breakfast when we came back 7 months later they even remembered us from the time before! Definitely the best deal for the price

This was an interesting hotel stay, to say the least.

Check-in was easy and the staff was always nice and courteous, that is one reason my score is below-average and not absolutely terrible. After check-in we got in the elevator and went to our room-level where there was a strange smell--like a mystery person let some really rank gas out. As we walked along the floor that smell thankfully faded and was replaced by a slight chemical scent.

Upon arriving in our room which contained a hot tub the room had a definite weird smell, a bit like cat pee and carpet mold had a baby. There was a chunk of carpet by the wall that had come up off of the floor and we called the front-desk to alert them about it in order to make sure we wouldn't be charged for it. They insisted on sending a maintenance man down who was very nice and attended to it quickly.

Other than the unpleasant smell which we determined was most likely mold due to cleaning not being done properly by the hot tub, the room was okay, with a mini-fridge and microwave that we didn't use (so I can't comment on their effectiveness), a television that we attempted to use but found didn't respond to the remote much at all (so we gave up), and a quite comfortable bed. The good feeling of the bed is another reason I didn't give the lowest score.

We were woken up in the morning by children run up and down the hall on the floor above us--something which isn't the hotel's fault but something I thought I would mention to all you parents who let your kids do that (please, stop). Breakfast tasted fine and was the usual assortment of waffles that could be made, some pastries, eggs, and some biscuits & gravy along with sausage. It tasted fine but later in the day both my lady and I found our stomachs upset, and as we hadn't eaten anything else we figured something at breakfast must have upset us--possibly the sausage?

Between the smell of the room, trouble with the television, and our stomach troubles this stay was below-average but made tolerable by nice employees and a bed that felt good. It could have been worse, but it would have been a lot better.

Stayed on 5/12/15 and they were doing some renovations, so that was a little unsightly. But overall, the room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super firm which is not my preference, but everyone's different. The room came with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker which is always nice. I didn't get to enjoy breakfast, but the spread looked great. They also have an indoor pool. Staff was very friendly as well. I would stay here again!
