I had to pick a place to stay for one night so I can catch an early flight and I probably will not stay here again.  There are many other places to choose from.  I did not feel my room was clean.  I also did not feel safe as a female staying at the property alone.  There are no restaurant at the property or anything within walking distant.  I had to drive and look for food and everytime I walk in/out of the hospital, there is always someone out there smoking.  Also as of March 2012 they have a major construction going on and that might have made me feeling a little negative about the place.

I've spent a good amount of time in hotels recently.  In this price range the Courtyard is a fantastic deal.

The room was clean and well appointed with a nice desk, flat panel tv, free wi-fi... pretty much all you could expect from a mid-proiced hotel.

Where this hotel shined was it's staff.  The front desk staff was as friendly as could be and always engaged us with quick hello or asking how we were doing.  I really felt welcome and appreciated as a guest here.

This mid-priced hotel ($67 AAA) was just right.  I don't believe that the other reviewers here reviewed **this hotel**.  There is no construction on this hotel, nor on the highways nearby at this time, nor recently.  I also would not consider it an airport hotel; it is definitely not adjacent!  The area did not feel unsafe, although it is a bit out of the way. There are also no windows to open; it has a sliding glass door to a balcony/patio.  There is a small restaurant/bistro, and a snack bar area.

The staff was very friendly; the bed was very comfy, although at first it seemed too soft, but that must have been the topper.  The 'feng shui' of the room was a bit different....but we adapted to it.  It's a short easy drive over to the Westport area, although there are surely better places to go in STL than that.

    I'd stay here again.

Construction is the pits.  So is the manager who either doesn't knock at all, or didn't knock loud enough for guests to hear when he's doing room checks.  Props to him for taking my yelling at him like a man...but geesh did that give me the heebies at the time (this all went down in May).
For a Airport-adjacent location, it's not a terrible place to stay.  Big comfy bed, nice flat panel TV, free wifi, and even windows that open.  Might not be terrible after construction.

The ladies at the front desk were awesome.  Friendly, sweet, and very sympathetic to what was definitely the weirdest thing to ever happen to me in a hotel.

Cleanest Courtyard I've ever stayed in. Great staff. Great service. Even rescued a cherished stuffed animal that was left behind. Wish all Courtyard's were as good as this one.

I'm a very loyal Marriott guy, and have been for quite some time.  I stay at a Marriott a couple times a month, and prefer the Courtyard when the full service Marriott isn't available or too spendy.

The Westport Courtyard is conveniently located to major roads like Olive, Page, and the freeways, but it's a bit of a drive to any decent food options, unless McDonald's or 7-11 are in your find dining category.

The updated lobby, and bistro are in-line with most Courtyards,  and service your typical Marriott fare.  The bar was open past 10 on a Monday night, which was nice.

The rooms are your typical Court Yard rooms, nothing awesome, nothing horrible, however I was not offered an upgrade, which based on my status, should always happen.

The biggest issue i had, other than there's not much to do within' walking distance was their Internet speeds, and they checked me out of my room a day early, and my keys didn't work, so I had to walk around the building in scorching heat back the the lobby to get it fixed.

The Internet here is SLOW.  I have attached a picture on the main site for proof, but I was told the speeds were 'hi-speed."  I was receiving speeds. of .39mps, which is barely faster than dial-up...seriuosly.  As a business travel, who uses the Internet to send, and receive files, I need a somewhat fast connection, that's also reliable, and won't drop me every few minutes.  So Courtyard, if you're reading this, stop lying about your Internet speeds, take a hint, and pay for decent connections in your rooms.

From cleanliness to friendliness, this CY was a nice surprise and exceeded our expectations, as we just came from the downtown st. Louis CY which was quite the opposite. Pool was heated to 90....kids were shocked as they could actually enjoy a swim. Room was bright, light, and clean. Internet was fine...they have two options...one for free and one that is faster to pay...so for those that complained of slow internet, perhaps they should consider paying as the Internet was fine...enough for me to write this review ;)

As a  frequent Marriott customer I was very disappointed with our check in Thanksgiving Day at this location. The lady who checked us in said oh you're a Priceline customer and I can only give you three rooms with king size beds.

I tried to beg her to give us at least one room with doubles but she emphatically stated not for Priceline customers, it is the hotel's policy or Marriott policy. I've stayed at this courtyard many times and have never had this problem being a Priceline customer.

If the hotel was at capacity it would be one thing. But the hotel look to be less than 20% capacity. Add insult to injury she put us at the farthest location on the third floor from the elevator. After seeing the rooms I did go back downstairs and try to beg her to change one room to a double. But she would not budge.

The rooms were clean so there is no issues are the only issue is her stubborn unwillingness to bend.  I have used Priceline hundreds of times over the last 10 years was no issues from hotels.

Decent Courtyard. The room was clean, and the wifi was pretty solid. Seeing as this is in St. Louis, I spent more time eating BBQ than I did at the gym, so can't tell you much about the fitness center. Plenty of parking located around the hotel.

I didn't have any problems here. It does get a little dry if you have the heater on constantly, so I wish the thermostat would be a bit more sensitive so it wouldn't run 24/7. It also wouldn't hurt if they had a real bar, but the bistro counter will suffice for most needs.
