I entirely disagree with the above review. This was a great and low budget place to stay with kids! My kids, 8 and 2, had a great time in the pool, playground, and arcade. The room was small, but we just needed to sleep there, and they must have fired the grape leaving cleaner because our room was spotless and the sheets smelled clean and delightful. We had an outdoor entrance room and had no problems with the A/C and found the inn to be very pet friendly and easy. There was also a coupon in the travel magazine that you pick up at rest stops with made our overnight an even better deal. Sorry, Y.B., we'll just have to agree to disagree.

We stayed thinking the play area would be good for the toddler. We did not end up having time to use the play area or the pool, others said it was too cold to swim anyway.
The property is run down, not ADA compliant, one would think the city would have shut it down. It is several old buildings that have been attached. The lighting is bad & the electrical work is scary. The main areas do not have air conditioning & the rooms individual ac units actually blow into the hallway which makes them incredibly hot & muggy.
There was actually a whole grape on the floor in the room. The sheets did seem clean as did the teeny tiny bathroom. We survived the night & learned a lesson, pay the extra $10 for the Holiday Inn.

Arrived late to a clean good smelling room. Sheets were clean and new, plenty of towels. I wish there would have been an elevator to the second floor though for my grandmother and her luggage. Breakfast was over quite early compared to other places I've been staying at, so I missed breakfast this morning. Otherwise it was a fine place for a cheap price. Wish I could have popped into the Irish pub next door :p

After a very long drive from New Mexico with two small kids, we just wanted a nice clean place to sleep. We booked a "suite" at the hotel on expedia, as it was the only non-smoking room available. After reading previous reviews, we already knew that the rooms and hotel is dated and in need of some renovations, but we only needed a place to stay.  We arrived at 2am, tired and weary. Upon entering our room, the smell of smoke was overpowering. The room we received was a smoking room. When I called down to the front desk to rectify the situation, I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms available, and we had been "upgraded" to a suite (despite the fact that we booked and paid for a suite) I told him that I didn't care, we just wanted a non-smoking room. My wife and son both suffer from asthma, and this room was not acceptable for us. I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms , despite the fact that I walked past several regular rooms (at 2am,mind you) that were empty with no smoking signs on the door). It is now 4:30 am, with no resolution to the issue. The room is less than desirable to begin with. The stairs up to our room were literally falling apart, the night guy at the front desk (Rick) was rude and unpleasant. For your own sanity and well being, stay somewhere else.

We only give this motel 2 stars because of the family facilities. However, for $102.00 the room is not worth it! No, refrigerator or microwave and the bed definitely needs replacing. Carpet needed a good cleaning too. We've slept in Super 8's nicer that this for half the price. For this money go to PeachTree.

This is an amazing hotel for families!!! I mean a pool in the lobby, Multipurpose room with Volley Ball net (open all the time), an Arcade, and I'm not kidding when I say a TON more. It's great. Complaint: the only thing is it just looks low quality. But that's the thing, it LOOKS like it is, but it is far from it.

So, we got in late in the evening last Thursday, exhausted and carrying one sleeping toddler and a very tired 5 yr old. We get to our room and find a hole in the wall. Literally, there was a hole in the bathroom wall. We tell the front desk and a very nice gentleman, Joe, comes over to lead us to another room...It did take three tries to find a room nearby without some sort of construction issue but we did finally find a nice room with not two but three beds! We really enjoyed being able to sleep well, instead of having to double up on beds:)

The room was definitely clean but some of the renovations were pretty badly done, for sure. For instance, since the rooms were converted to a suite, the door that used to lead to the outside hallway was drywalled over...with the hinges still on it...yeah, it's a little weird. And the two bathrooms are a bit odd also...One room has a shower and a toilet...the other room had two sinks.

The room had a microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge, which all seemed to work. It also had two tv's and a leather (or leather-like) couch.

Breakfast was delicious with both hot and cold items, I only wish I had been allowed to bring food to the room for the rest of the family who were busy getting ready for our appointment at Shriners Hospital.

We did not get to enjoy the indoor pool, indoor playground or game rooms since the hours were after we got there and after we left but it looked like a lot of fun!

For sure I want to give a big shout out to Joe who helped us get situated after a bad start, including trading the refrigerator in our room for a bigger one in another room. What a great guy with great customer service:)

Overall another good stay, but the variety at breakfast wasn't as good as last time.....only bread for toast, no English muffins, or bagels.  The eggs and biscuits and gravy were also on the cold side.  But still a great family hotel!!!  We will be back!!!!

A very interesting venue, to say the least. Excellent customer service, good sized rooms that have a fridge/microwave + iron, and plenty of parking. Yet the major highlight of this hotel is clearly the amenities of the pool, hot tub area and kiddie playground area that is inside of the hotel courtyard area. This area is very active with kids and adults alike, and is a stone's throw away from the front desk area.

There is a separate room for the breakfast area that is so large that you will think that it is a school cafeteria. Clearly one of the most impressive areas that I've ever seen at a Days Inn or comparable hotel. The food selection was so-so. There is a machine that makes pancakes (quite small) as well as a coffee machine that despite its appeal, produces very bland coffee. There are choices of toast and grits/sausage as well as orange juice + yogurt, but not much else.

One good thing that I appreciated of this venue is of the location. It is not that far from I-44, and is also located around several restaurant venues. The Days Inn is located next  to a biker bar type of restaurant, yet seems to be okay. There is an Econo Lodge to the left of the hotel as well as another smaller motel (doesn't look good), and by comparison, I think that I made the best choice with the Days Inn.

The front desk staff really tries hard to make sure that you are accommodated well, and this alone is certainly very much appreciated. There isn't an elevator that I noticed at the hotel, yet it is on two levels only with rooms on both the interior courtyard as well as exterior of the building. This Days Inn is a part of the Wyndham Group, so be sure to have your rewards program card available to gain those almighty points!

Polite people and one of the most interesting hotel I've ever been. The one star off is because they need to do some changing inside the hotel. It's so old fashion and seem super old & not really managed... But overall, it'll be a nice place to stay over the weekend

The hotel pleasantly surprised us upon arrival.  Though it didn't seem as welcoming from the outside the hotel was very nice.  All the amenities were in good condition and so were the rooms.

Overall, if you are looking for a good overnight or weekend stay somewhere for a descent price, look no further.
