The staff was fantastic.  No complaints there at all.

I booked this for the Thanksgiving holiday 4 nights, and got a great deal through priceline.com .  I should have known better.  But wanted to be in the safer area of St Louis so booked it.  As soon as I stepping in the hallway, it reeked.  The worst smell EVER.  Nasty chinese food smell, or marijuana...something.  That smell never went away.  The room was not clean, there were crumbs under the bar area. And when I went to unplug the non-stop humming alarm clock there was trash all behind the night stand (empty soda bottles, etc).

The bed was super small and horribly uncomfortable. The feather pillows were so bad, we couldn't even use them...the quills would stick you in the face.  The bathtub floor creaked and you almost thought you would fall through the floor and the tub faucet never shut off completely, but constantly dripped.

The Grab n Go breakfast is nice, but when you go down there, the 'residents' that live there hoard the food and condiments.  Ridiculous. One guy said, I'm not greedy, it's just that I work at 5am and always miss the breakfast so I gotta stock up.

I was so glad to get out of this place and back home.  I will for sure check reviews and yelp before booking another hotel in the future. YUCK!

We knew we would be getting a cheaper "bargain" experience and were fine with that. We were planning to stay 10 days and were looking at lower daily rates.

The hallway had a strong odor of onions, garlic, stale trash, and body odor. Each day it smelled worse. The room was passably clean. Nevertheless, I wore my flip flops in the shower to be sure. The bed was barely clean--there were specs of dirt on the sheets. The bed was comfortable enough for a double bed sleeping two exhausted people. The shower, sink, counters---pretty much everything in the room---was worn and needed to be replaced. It had the appearance of being dingy and unkempt.

We made sure to barely spend any time there and only came back to crash at the end of the night. It would have been extremely uncomfortable to spend 10 days there.

The only reason this hotel did not receive one star is the daily rate and the fact they were reasonable about letting us cancel the rest of our stay.
