Food was terrible, but the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond, and they were completely pleasant. The hotel was lovely, and bed was comfortable. I would consider staying here again...just not eating here.

I slept better in this hotel than in any other hotel in years.  I have been meaning to try this hotel for a long time, but the opportunity never presented itself until just this weekend when I needed a place to stay after arriving from a long flight.  You know how it can be arriving late at a hotel.  I was sleepy, tired and just ready to go to bed.  I picked up my car at Hertz next door to the hotel and drove to the hotel and parked in the designated check in spaces.  The front desk personnel kindly explained the parking and how to get to the room.  The parking lot is huge, but I managed fine.  The things I, as a business traveler - but this time as a personal traveler - value are a good bed, quiet and a great breakfast.  Theyreally hit the target for me on all counts.

I found the room, which was on the executive floor, very well appointed.  I liked that I could change the temperature in the room to what it needed to be for me to make it comfortable.  I had to take a shower since I had a late flight and felt sweaty - the bathroom was nicely appointed with towels, soap (for both the sink and the bath), shampoo, and a very welcome handle on the shower to hold on to.  This is one of those hotels which is solidly built not to have plumbing noise come into the room and the bathroom felt well built.  The sink was one of those new ones and very nice to use.  The bed was wonderful.  The bedding was genuinely comfortable and the pillows made it easy for me to not only sleep, but all through the night without disturbance.   This hardly happens to me on the first night in any hotel, but it happened here and that is, after all, what a hotel is primarily for.

The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh.  It was a buffet, but this was one of the best ones I have seen where the food is really nicely done.  I loved the variety and the service by the waiters in the dining area was exceptional.  This really was one of the best breakfasts I have enjoyed at a hotel buffet.

The personnel I encountered at the front desk were very attentive and helpful.  All around, I had a great overnight here and when the occasion comes again as surely it will when I have to arrive late again and need a place to stay before embarking on a long drive in the morning - I will use the St. Louis Airport Hilton again.

This hotel is horrible. They nickle and dime you for everything. Parking? $10. Internet? $10. Per device. That's right. Want to use your work laptop? $10. iPad? That's another $10. Personal laptop? Another $10. In the year of our lord two thousand and twelve.

Other issues: The rooms don't have mini-refrigerators, which I find very frustrating. There is no handsoap in the bathrooms. There is no channel listings in the rooms. The TV in the room is slow, and does not have an onscreen guide. Just changing the channels is a chore. Also the thermostat did not work in my room. I was sweating. In February.

Excellent hotel. Although it is an "airport" hotel, it is located off of a freeway with easy access to the attractions in St. Louis. The employees are very friendly. One of the employees from reception even remembered my name as she wished me good night. I stayed in a very spacious room with 2 queen beds. The hotel was recently renovated so expect to see new furnishings and a clean, sleek look.

The hotel bar in the lobby gets crowded on the weekend. I'm not sure if these folks were locals or guests attending a convention at the hotel. Regardless, eat dinner and have a drink at the bar. The wait staff and bartender were very attentive. Get the Caesar Salad! It's super yummy.

Overnight parking for hotel guests is $10 each day. The airport is a short 2 minute car ride away or take the airport shuttle offered by the hotel.

The hotel staff are fantastic and friendly. The restaurant "World's Away" is great for breakfast but VERY hit and miss on other meals. Overpriced for slow, under-seasoned and off-temp foods.

I can only comment on the meeting rooms and the bar as I was there for an event and did not stay.  The meeting rooms are very nice and they do have plenty of them and the food they served at the event wasn't bad at all.  Just upset they ran out of the cheesecake before I could get to it - darn!

The bar area can get crowded quickly on the weekends but service was plenty quick enough.  What I do not like about this hotel is that they charge you $10 to park!  Geeze!!!  And unless you get lucky and park in the front or very close in the back, you may have a bit of a hike to get into the hotel.

Staff, especially Andy at the front desk, go out of their way to make me feel welcome.  However the pool was closed, no hot tub, and the decor is kind of fake-high end.  The Hampton Inn I stayed in in Columbia for far less per night had
    1.  Hot tub
    2. Nicer rooms
    3. Free breakfast
    4. Free fresh baked cookies on arrival
    5. Pool that was open and working

Literally the ONLY thing they have going for them is proximity to the airport, and there are like four hotels in that immediate vicinity.

Note:  the things that made the visit special are the personal touch of the employees, such as Andy.  I wish the infrestructure of the hotel were 3/4 as impressive as the commitment of the employees to making my stay pleasant.  Sorry I can't give a better review--but don't hold that against the staff.

I came back from visiting the Missouri Botanical Garden over Labor day weekend.  My timing was perfect since I was able to catch the Japanese Festival.  However, I was really tired and just wanted to check-in without dealing with airport parking, etc.  After reading some reviews, I opted to park temporarily in the 15 minute space to see whether my Gold membership got me some perks.

$10 for 24hr parking but Gold membership got me $5 for parking.  Someone on Yelp mentioned getting free parking but I don't mind the $5 discount.  The front parking gate card reader was denying access after front desk programmed my room keys.  I tried the back parking gate reader as well with same problem.  At least the back parking lot had a speaker button which dialed to front desk so that they could open the gate for me.

Front desk searched a bit for room upgrade.  Eventually, she found corner king suite with 2 rooms- separate bedroom and living room.  YESSS!!! I overheard the guest checkin a few minutes later looking for similar room.  Beat him to the room within minutes.  The front desk also got me free fountain drink voucher, appetizer voucher, and breakfast buffet voucher.  ALL THREE- THE TRIFECTA!!!

    KING SUITE ****
Missing Peter Thomas Roth body wash so called room service.  Got 2 bottles within minutes from housekeeping.  Great view of the airport from both bedroom and living room.  Dropped off my luggage and went downstairs for quick bite to eat.

I had a ginger ale with Ahi tuna seared with black sesame seed crusted.  Quick and wonderful service.  Would have liked to try local brew but voucher only good for non-alcoholic drinks.

Yes, there were many families but loved the 9ft deep end to go for dives.  Housekeeping was there to stock up on towels for us.  I did a couple of laps and then headed to room for the night.

Woke up early to get a workout in.  Found the stairmaster similar to the one in the Double Tree Chesterfield.  Got my 30 minutes in before a morning shower followed by breakfast buffet.

Got an omelet made to order at the grill.  The rest of the buffet was wonderful with plenty of fruit.  I also found small boxes of almond milk and chose the chocolate flavor.  I also found a nice spread of smoked salmon but didn't want to risk it.  The coffee was quite bitter.  Overall, I loved this hotel which reminded me alot of George Clooney's "Air Up There".  I would recommend this to anyone who needs a relaxing vacation.

My review is honestly between three and four stars but I'm going with four stars because of the fact that just an "a-okay" rating seems to be a little low especially when you take into consideration the hotel nightmares I've had the past few weeks with traveling in connection with a move.  (Feel free to scroll through my past reviews to laugh at my expense for that).

    The pros:.

1:  The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers free shuttle service.  The shuttle runs every 15 minutes and when I used it this morning, it arrived on time and was quite helpful.
    2. The front desk staff is AMAZINGLY helpful.  I am staying at this airport (in an out) for a few days in conjunction with a move overseas and had several questions upon my initial arrival.  The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me get my answers and made multiple stressful situations for me go smoothly.
    3. There is a restaurant on site that has a variety of price point meals.  Its good if you don't feel like venturing out.  The food is pretty good quality.
    4. The gym and pool were also top notch.
    5. My room was CLEAN (thank you travel gods) and spacious and well stocked.  The bed was also very comfortable.

    The Cons:

    1. There is some nickel and diming with the having to pay for wifi...come on now its 2013?
    2. Walls are pretty thin and at some times it seemed like I could hear anything and everything yet I never heard a plane.
    3. Paying for parking...meh.....just another annoyance but not the end of the world.

In the end, I'd definitely go back to this hotel should I find myself back in the area without hesitation.

I recently stay at his hotel while visiting in the local area.
1st and foremost the hotel staff is amazing!!  From the front desk, restaurant staff, bar staff and shuttle service I felt pampered.   The staff was consistently courteous and professional.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Lambert ST. Louis International Airport and provides complimentary shuttle service.   I never waited more than 15 minutes for the airport transportation

My room was very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable.

The hotel restaurant on site had enough options to satisfy me and my companions.  We didn't feel like venturing out for dinner and enjoyed a very pleasant meal in the restaurant and enjoyed a few cocktails in the bar area.
Customer service is an important priority for me whenever I chose a hotel property.  The incredible customer service I received at this particular hotel will ensure my return.
