we stayed there one night there, may 29,2012,very very rude costumer service, the receptionist was totally rude, she was dressed unprofessional(such as flip flops!!)
the door of our room was broken,we need to push it hard to open it..there was no AC in the hallways(or not working) and not perfectly clean,in the room:only one towel ,one shampoo, one of each thing, even though we were 2 person in king room!
it was overpriced for holiday inn hotels(even though I reserved it one month in advance)

we saw some wired stuff in the lobby like: "no public restrooms"?!
.."the coke machine is out of stock"?!.."no public telephone"?! COME ON! we are in a hotel not in a rest area!
again, the receptionist was really rude and that was the main complain

This place is average.  In an average part of town.

This hotel was very clean and the room was nice for a reasonable charge, but the neighborhood stops me from recommending this place. The hotel is in the middle of a very run down area full of boarded up buildings. The parking lot is surrounded by a spiked fence. On our walk to dinner we ran into a couple homeless guys loitering outside the fence downing a forty.

Nice hotel in a scary neighborhood.

Newly remodeled hotel in a really bad part of town.  They have a rod iron fence surrounding the building and a police car in front.  We felt safe while there, but didn't want to stop our car in the neighborhood.  I witnessed a drug deal for the first time.

    BTW, breakfast was ok.

This isn't a Hilton in Cabo so my expectations were not so high.We needed a place until our apt was ready and this hotel was near my daughter's school. It's clean, has a very friendly staff, and the breakfast was decent. They kept my room clean and were so polite whenever my kids ran around the lobby. The area is quiet and not as bad as the past reviewers noted. The staff worked extra hard during the snow storm and let me take some extra breakfast items to my room for snacks later. Overall it's a great hotel for the money and area.

Very disappointing. Close to downtown but not downtown. The neighborhood is sketchy and staff not the friendliest. Our room smelled like smoke and was not very clean. We checked out and into a hotel in downtown.

Now I lay me down to sleep...in comfortable beds, with pillows labeled firm or soft...with a clean, spacious room...toiletries if I need them...and cute, sunny breakfast room waiting for me in the morning.
I'm sure we didn't take advantage of all this hotel has to offer because we didn't go in the workout room, and we didn't use the pool and I didn't even read the pamphlet to tell me what else was available.  In fact, the huge flat screen TV didn't even get turned on in our 2 night stay.  We did enjoy the wifi so I could yelp!
This was really just our place to sleep...and my sleep would have been good enough for Sleeping Beauty had it not been for the family of elephants in the room upstairs.  I'm honestly not sure how you can walk/stomp ALWAYS.  The kids were still stomping at 12:30am.  I think that's a learned behavior.
So, I would come back here if I was in the area again but I might request a room on the top floor to eliminate the chance of having noisy neighbors.  I don't fault the hotel for their other occupants...
