Soulard Residence offers unique rooms and suites for extended stay and some short term stay rentals in Soulard. Great for those who are in town on business for a few weeks/months and want to be within walking distance of restaurants and bars and still be in a quaint, garden setting. The setting is small and intimate. Not your typical extended stay hotel,

Amazing Place and Awesome People HIGHLY RECOMMEND 6 STARS !
We rented for several months.
I was 38 yr old, 8 months pregnant and moving internationally back to the states, my husband to shortly follow me there. I had family there and decided to have my baby in St. Louis as opposed to having our daughter in Puerto Rico.
Bret and Kelly, the owners are a gem. Lifesavers , generous, helpful, professional, creative, amazing people.
I didn't know these people at all the first time, just so you know I am not the type of person to right reviews. I met them was when Kelly showed me Soulard Residence (SR). I needed something nice, comfortable, cool area for easily accessibility to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, the highway ( my family lived in the country) and the hospital. I was indeed ready to POP at anytime.
The place was so impeccably decorated. Thoughtful delights sprinkled throughout the apartment, gorgeous landscaping and the feeling of being completely safe and sound.
I was alone and pregnant so safety was important. There is a real sense of community with the owners, business's and restaurants. Neighbors say hello and welcomed me with cookies and banana breads and yummy treats weekly. People stopped to help the big pregnant lady unload groceries. Restaurants knew me by name after only two or three visits. The place is like its own little island. Even the patrolling officers, when I had my car open while unloading would ask if all is okay and if they could help ( way to go STL PD ).
If you are looking to feel like you are in your own personal "Cheers " episode. Where neighborhood families stop and say hello, where people are good and kind and where you will experience the real "midwest hospitality" you need to stay at he Soulard Residence.
The kitchen was fully stocked with more than basic needs, but special stuff ...garlic crusher, blender, backing pans.
The bathroom had small samples of lovely soaps, bubble baths, etc...
The house is cleaned by Kelly and her mom every Friday with towels and sheets being changed.
You will love this place. This place is a sweet special spot.
Happy to write this for a great place.
Eliabeth , Mike and baby Caroline !
