Good value for the buck. Got the room at $62/night for 3 nights.

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, coffee maker/microwave/frig in king rooms, large desk.

Free breakfast included fresh fruit, fresh made waffles, cold cereal, juices, bagels, coffee, etc.

Nice courtyard.

Would recommend it and would stay there again.

(Didn't give it 5 stars as tv channels were limited but the TV itself was great, large LG flat  screen.

This is one of the better La Quinta locations at which I have stayed. The room was clean and the staff was polite. As others noted, the location is a bit difficult to navigate; however, the price and the quality of this location make it a worth it.

Great place to stay. I've stayed here twice when in the Raleigh-Durham area. Always goes smoothly. Clean rooms, nice staff.

I have usually had good experiences with this chain, but this one was not as expected
I have never had a bug crawl across the sheet when we pulled the covers down till now.  The decor and trim are showing heavy use and wear. The breakfast was mediocre.  Too bad McDonalds isn't next door.

This is the best place to stay in the area.  Manager is awesome and hotel is very clean and staff friendly.  Indoor pool and hot tub you can't beat.  What else can you ask for!

Not bad. For the price you get a nice room, the place is clean, The people at the front desk were very nice. It's downfall is the breakfast. The breakfast is ok, I wouldn't call it a buffet it's more like a "do it yourself" breakfast. They have Belgium waffle makers but they  only have two machines that each takes almost three minutes per waffle and a dining room full of hungry people, Just doesn't work very well.  No eggs, nothing else hot. Commercial muffins and begels out of a cardboard box that are tasteless. The coffee, tasteless. Stayed two nights, ate the free breakfast one day. Left and went out to eat instead.
There are many hotels that offer free breakfast. I guess management doesn't realize this can make or break it for a hotel on getting people to choose their place over the competition. that's why they only get three stars.

I went to this La Quinta recently and I did NOT like this place overall. When I entered the room it smelled really weird, and I examined my bed there were crumbs and hair in my bed. The breakfast very mediocre. I went without breakfast that because I really disliked it.

Dogs stay for free! The room was clean, they have an indoor pool and a convenient court yard to walk your dog in. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a little hard to get to and hard to get to places around it. It's on a frontage road that is easy to miss.  Also the parking spaces are very narrow. Otherwise the breakfast is awesome  !! Great value without skimpy on the perks. Have stayed twice and will stay again.  Also, great military discount.

Nice rooms, the property is off an access road and back to trees . The is a nice terrace between the lobby and the indoor pool!

Color me surprised -- the 15-501 La Quinta is a way better hotel than I ever expected. They have breakfast. They have a pool. They have a cute little outdoor courtyard area just for guests.

AND THEY ALLOW DOGS. No special fee, no advance notice required, no hassle just to bring your precious pup through town for a few nights. They just let you bring your dog and keep your cell number on file in case your dog starts barking up a storm while you're out of your room.

The breakfast wasn't anything special -- standard cereal, oatmeal, waffles, muffins, yogurt array at these kinds of places -- but it did the trick for my Saturday morning when I didn't feel like going out for a chicken biscuit.

The rooms were fine -- nothing fancy, but not downtrodden, either. They have limited bathroom products, which I think is why they tend to be a lower rated hotel, but what woman doesn't bring her own shampoo and conditioner to a hotel these days? I could be staying at the Ritz and still find their toiletries to be inadequate. Plus, the stuff they actually had at the LQ smelled delicious and citrusy. Fun surprise.

Minus one star for having a sort of difficult location -- turning back onto 15-501 from the hotel could be tricky in traffic -- and because our sheets literally had some rips in them. But I still slept like a rock and didn't have to worry about spending mucho dinero to bring my dogs with me to a hotel, so I'm a happy camper.

A definite hotel frontrunner for any future trips to Durham/Chapel Hill.

Extremely good price. Wifi and breakfast folded into daily cost. Ten minute drive from downtown and from Duke.

The hotel is pleasant, clean and a great value for its amenities. However, they subcontract their room service through Order Inn, most of the items listed on the menu they were out of, the items they did have they were charging more than what was listed on the menu.
