I stayed here with my roommates when we were on a mini road trip, and it was perfectly nice. Our double room was about $125 with tax. There are rooms accessible from inside or outside- sort of combo hotel/motel style, so if you have a preference they could probably accommodate that. The room had both a fridge and microwave, which was really nice. There is a hot breakfast, but it wasn't very good. The eggs tasted like fake eggs from a carton and the waffles were pretty tasteless. There were no breakfast potatoes, which I was hoping for. There were many options of cereal, oatmeal, bagels and pastries. Overall, perfectly decent place to stay and cheaper than most other options in the area.

I chose this Baymont because it was dog-friendly, affordable, and conveniently located off of I-80. My two Labs and I stayed here one night while we were driving cross-country. The room and bathroom were clean. The room is directly off of the parking lot, and the front wall and door were slightly on the thinner side. My dogs sometimes barked at the cars and footsteps they heard. If you need a hotel that is super quiet, choose one with enclosed hallways. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with this hotel.

In town for 7 days on a business trip and I booked this room based on the location and rate and wish I would've splurged a bit. The location is ideal because its off the freeway and not far from a few restaurants. When I checked in I was greeted by a nice woman who checked me in - our room was on the first floor in the second building so the WiFi connection was poor, so they moved us to the second floor of the first building. Our WiFi connection was great but we had two soiled pillows, found two crunchy towels behind the bathroom door and after day one the room had seen no attention from housekeeping.
I personally brought the pillows down to front desk and they immediately put them in bags and sent somebody up to pick up the two crunchy towels and apologized.

Day two: housekeeping stopped by at around 11:30am and we had yet to leave the room so we asked them to return in 30 minutes. When we arrived from our day out the room was cleaned and towels replaced. No complaints.

Day three: not sure if the hotel is keeping up to date with my review but for some crazy reason housekeeping showed up at 8:15am. I was still in bed and the person I'm sharing my room with had just walked in from getting coffee downstairs in her pajamas and was acknowledged by house keeping who was already cleaning the rooms next to us. Two minutes after she walked in the door is knocked on loudly and you hear somebody yell housekeeping!!! What? Why? Am I being penalized or are they really trying to make up for the bad first impression?
Update on day three: room was cleaned and towels replaced. Thanks crew.

Day four: finally decided to try the free breakfast from 6-9am. Cereals, bagels and toast, coffee, juice, waffle mix, yogurt and gravy and biscuits. Satisfied and full.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were pretty disappointed.  We were given a room on the first floor of the back building.  The WIFI connection for Baymont was impossible to get.  We were able to access the WIFI signal for the next door Ramada however so did have some access thanks to them.

The room was not well maintained.  There were dirt marks on the door and wall next to the TV.  In the bathroom the paint on the wall behind the toilet was cracking and pealing off the wall.

In the morning when we went to use the sink and shower, had at best, lukewarm water.  Had very quick shower indeed as too cold to stay in very long without freezing. We reported water temperature issue to the front desk the first morning and they seemed surprised and said they'd have someone check on the water heater.  The water temperature never improved in the morning our entire stay although we varied the time we tried to use it from very early to late morning.  In the evening, there was hot water available so it was very odd.

The continental breakfast was adequate, nothing special. One morning I tried the apple juice.  It tasted more like colored water than juice.

The walls were fairly thin and our neighbors in the next room were very loud into the early hours of the morning and woke us up.   In the morning these same guests were smoking outside their room and even though our door was closed and we hadn't opened it yet we could smell the cigarette smoke in our room.  Luckily they only stayed 1 night.

The morning of our check out, we had to leave early to catch our flight.  We tried to check out at about 4:30 am.  No one was at the front desk and there was a sign saying they'd stepped away and would return soon.  I tried ringing the bell on the counter but no one came out.   I couldn't find a key drop anywhere in the lobby and was not sure what to do but needed to get to the airport.   We rang the bell again and finally one of the maintenance workers came out and took the keys from us.

If we ever return to Omaha we definitely will stay elsewhere.

I choose this Baymont due to being a Wyndham member (gotta get those points) as well as comparing the rate to the Ramada Inn next door. Although the Ramada Inn was considerably reasonable in its rates that night ($90) and offers upscale amenities expected with having a convention center, I chose the Baymont in part because the rate was much lower ($65) and that I just needed a place for the night. Plus, I didn't need all of the amenities. Just a bed, hot shower, good breakfast, and a place to wash clothes.

The parking area was pretty decent on the right side of the hotel yet on the left, it wasn't lit up very well. There is a section on the right side of the hotel that the front desk agent mention that he rarely puts people in. I think he referenced this due to how weak the WiFi signal is out to those rooms. And plus, those rooms have outside door access as opposed to the main rooms where you have to be inside of the building to access. This was important to me for security purposes.

The room itself was fine. Double bed on the first floor, ironing board with iron as well as a comfortable chair with Ottoman. For this type of room, I didn't notice if it had a microwave/fridge (didn't need it) yet it is possible that these amenities may be in the rooms that have the king-sized beds (and with higher room rate). You'll have to ask the front desk on this one if you have fridge/microwave needs. I'm certain that they exist either upon request or in certain room floorplans. The WiFi (free) is very good for the rooms on the inside of the hotel. As aforementioned, it may be weaker for the rooms on the outside right of the hotel.

Breakfast was pretty good. I estimated it to be a $10 value with waffles, eggs & sausage, bagels and muffins, and 3-4 assortments of juices. There is a small PC area that is hidden (adjacent to a housekeeper's closet and across from the front desk) yet very functional.

The laundry room was clean and functional. Only one washing machine as well as dryer, so you'll have to be timely when it comes to washing your clothes. The gym is very bare bones and small, with one BowFlex type of machine being out of order. It was so-so.

The staff was very, very accommodating. I've been in hotels/motels where the staff just doesn't care, and this was certainly not one of them. I'll definitely be back.
