Unfortunately, we saw the reviews after we made the reservation. Horrible, horrible place. I understand trying to save money but not running elevators and air conditioning in July is never a good idea. Having the rudest member of your family, with the smallest grasp of english at the front desk, another bad idea. The bed looked like it had been slept in, the bathroom was moldy.  The was by far the worst part of an otherwise great trip to Omaha.  Not worth the few dollars we saved.

Nothin' wrong here, maybe the other reviewers always stay in name brand hotels? For $40+ tax, I've definitely stayed at much, much worse, and I've paid a lot more to stay at its equal. Clean room and very complete, with iron & board, hair dryer, plenty of down-alternative pillows, an easy chair, coffeemaker, microwave, and a mini fridge with a separate, working freezer (!) They also offer breakfast with biscuits & sausage gravy. I was sick with a sinus infection while I was here so I spent a LOT of time in the room, and really, I was very comfortable.

I concur: a dump.  Unless you are a pimp, ho, addict or dealer, no reason to go there.  Manager promised me a refund, acknowledging to me that he knew it was a dump.  When Expedia called him to authorize the refund, he refused.

After 12.5 hrs of driving time we stopped at a Perkins I saw a hotel listing and saw the price here was right. Heated pool whirl pool and wifi we didn't new anything else. After checking in we changed to dip in the hot tub. The water was half empty and cold. The pool was neutral not so much heated but it wasn't cold so we still had some water time. They let us bring our cat. The room was cool no problems the wifi is iffy but all in all happy :)

I went to this hotel with three people. It was an ok value. The room was pretty big and it has ok beds. The wifi was kind of slow. This hotel has a few flaws. I found hair in the bathroom. Some parts of this hotel were a little bit weird.

I would give even zero star. Bed bugs, smelly rooms, rude manager, dirty towels! Give me a break;(  i would rather stay in my car than sleeping there! They themselves put review in google, don't be deceived!

ok if you can get it for under $30, and it's late and you just need a soft pillow to lay your head....otherwise a dump.

After being moved to another room our trip changed. The 2nd room was much better and turned out to be a great value. Still not sure I would stay there again due to the 1st room. Don't stay in room 629

Run Down Dump run by rude people.
The room had an OVERBEARING smell of disinfectant.
I had reservations for 2 nights and had a fmaily emergency so could only stay one night.
The manager would not refund my money for the other night.
He also was EXTREMELY rude to me and lied to me.
He lied by saying 'I booked through Hotels.com , so they have to refund me."
Hotel.com said that is not true as Carol Hotel ran my credit card so they could refund me...

    But he didnt.

THIS HOTEL IS A NO GO--AVOID IT!

So I picked Carol Hotel for a place to stay for a few days because of it's enticingly cheap rate and convenient location.  I was not expecting mega quality.

I was, however, expecting a little more than what we got.

    Issues:
    1. We were there for five days, four nights.  Our cups were thrown away during the cleaning process but not replenished, so no cups.
    2. Broken ice machines.
    3. Exercise room equipment was broken.
    4. No one ever cleaned out the coffee pot or brought more coffee for us to make, and the coffee mug provided had a huge chip in it.
    5. The internet never worked.
    6. The walls were so thin that we heard an angry businessman yelling at someone named Roger really early in the morning and, on the other side, a squalling baby that no one was trying to hush.
    7. The towel and clothing racks were falling out of the wall.
    8. A couple of the lamps and the alarm clock never worked (I think a circuit breaker was out).

That being said, the staff was really nice to us.  You get what you pay for, and it is what it is.
