It's OK.  The room has a strange smell, and the pool was unexpectedly closed on Thanksgiving.  But, it was quiet and clean.

This is a mid-line hotel (at best) so you get what you pay for.

Highlights: comfortable beds and good location.

Drawbacks: bleh service, 60's decor, worn fixtures and furniture.

I did not utilize room service or the on-property restaurant so can't rate those experiences.

In town for Buffett-fest 2010. Stayed here at the Comfort Inn for two nights, three days.

We paid $99/night for a standard room with two queens. I don't know what the standard Omaha hotel rates are, but I thought it was pretty reasonable given that most hotels were fully booked for the weekend.

On an aesthetic level, the hotel decor is bland and uninspired. I don't know what it looked like prior to the supposed renovation, and I don't really want to know. Just don't expect much -- it's a standard Comfort Inn.

The hotel and the rooms, specifically, were clean to my naked eye. Granted, I don't carry around a black light so I have no clue if there were "stains" and such left behind by previous occupants. And again, I don't want to know.

The fitness room is pretty depressing. A small bare room with two treadmills, one elliptical machine, and a TV. Nothing else. I thought I would run a bit, but decided against it after seeing this crappy little room.

Not exactly a glowing review so far, but the main reason for the decent three star rating was the very good and friendly service. First, there's a complimentary airport shuttle. Just call them and they'll pick you up from the airport (about 20 minutes away). And not only the airport, they'll take you to the zoo, Qwest Center, etc. as long as schedule and time allows (airport pickups/dropoffs get first priority). Second, the staff is just plain friendly. Maybe it's just because I live in New York, but it's nice being around people that are genuinely friendly and not just looking for a tip.

Do I wish I could have stayed at the downtown Hilton? Yes, but I wasn't willing to drop three Franklins a night for a short weekend stay to see the Oracle.  I'll just save that money and buy myself more BRK B shares.

Crucial tip:
On weekends, ask for a room facing the rear of the hotel. The hotel restaurant/bar (next to the lobby) is open till 1am playing loud music and hosting many a shouting drunk and Harley rider. No thanks.

What's the deal with these Comfort Inn & Suites? How could I stay in a nice, clean top-of-the-line one two days ago and end up in a House of Funk for the weekend? I made my reservations using a Hotels.com app, so it failed to tell me this place was dog-friendly - to the point that my room smelled like a kennel.. Stains on the carpet, scuzzy bathroom, gross free breakfast (was that corned beef hash...or Alpo?) and a mixed bag in the staff department, ranging from professional to lazy. Our rooms were not cleaned, even though housekeeping was right outside my door when I went out and I told them they could clean my room now if they wanted to. I'd give this place one star, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that you could request a room that was pet-free and I just looked at that corned beef hash - I sure didn't eat it!

This hotel used to be good. Now they are cutting corners. No cookies when you come in. 1 drink token on first day. Even though you are paying the same price on 2nd, 3rd, & 4th night and they're already saving money not changing sheets. They cut the towels down in the room to 3. TV doesn't have a guide. Restaurant & bar is very slow, not consistent food and understaffed. In room coffee not impressive, at all! Maids knock on door 3-4 times, even though you tell front desk you don't need anything and you have the do not disturb sign in card holder. Carpet is filthy. Dogs barking, people in hallways talking loud & yelling at each other, all day & a lot of night. & most of the time staff doesn't put nights stay on card # and have to call corporate to get them added. Really bad hotel. Not coming back again. They used to be good & clean. What happened to those days?

I should have listened to Yelp.  This place is just oooooook.  The room smells icky and I seriously cannot wait to leave in the morning.  Thank goodness we were planning on leaving early.  The waitress at the restaurant was really nice though =).

So as for my King Suite, I would compare it to a Double Tree without the price tag, to include cookies at the front desk (on ocassion). Very clean, lights on to greet me at night and cleaning staff didn't mess with the heat. Bed is comfortable and the bedding is clean. Bathrooms very clean.
Beautiful lobby, great band in the bar.

Maybe it's because I am a platinum choice Hotels Rewards member but I even got a free drink token upon check in. Bar was descent friendly.  Music was good.

My one real complaint is that I used the printer A LOT in the business center and asked them to changer the toner cartridge. They looked but couldn't find one. So they told me to shake it. In the next two days they still didn't replace it.  Only one of the two computers was hooked to a printer.  Even a sign would have help, if you are using a conputer but not printing, use this one.

I did have a service request for my room and asked the front desk to fix something the next day while I was gone, it never happened.  :-(

Overall other tha the customer service issues related to the business center, I would definatly stay again.

Ok room, but we got stuck with a floor full of noisy kids on a baseball team. walls sound paper thin. Unimpressive coffee.

This is by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Room wasn't cleaned on the first day. We had to call front desk for towels and coffee. Second day, room was cleaned but had to call for towels, shampoo and conditioner and coffee packets. The front desk accommodated us quickly. I won't stay here again and I would advise others to think twice.

The workers were pleasant to talk to except for the one guy who drove the shuttle.  He didn't talk much but was not rude at all. The room is comfortable and the bed was very relaxing. They have both soft and firm pillows on the bed. It's very peaceful on the 9th floor for the smoking rooms. The pool was clean and cool. The main things I didn't like were that there is not a fridge or microwave in the rooms, there were no vending machines on the 9th floor, and the food wasn't the best. The food was hot and put out on time, it just wasn't something I would want to eat every morning.

Just okay.  Pain in the ass trying to get in my room because my friend was paying for the room for me and they needed him to jump through several hoops before he could pay for me.  One of the ladies was real sweet at the front desk, but the larger set lady was RUUUUUDE.  I just cant stand rude people! If you are in customer service, be nice dammit!

Called the front desk after getting to my room that smells like smoke. Called the fword ont desk and asked fir another room. The desk jerk said he would put me in another room but dont expect him to let me check 4 rooms and pick the best one for me, I would get what he gave me!!
The alleged assistant manager stepped in,,,
After rejecting 3 non smoking rooms for smelling like an ashtray, im given a room on the 3rd floor above the bar and smoking patio. The windows are horrible so you can hear everything the drunk smokers are talking about in adfition to the crappy live music.
I will never ever stay here again and unless you are a drunk smoker with low standards I would not reccomend this hotel.

This is a mid-level hotel at best.

We specifically requested a top floor, away from the elevator. We never heard a thing! Which was great as we saw some football teams come through, and there was a job convention in the lobby while we were there.

The king bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was decent, and room wasn't too terrible if you don't mind seeing carpet stains.

The decor of the whole building is sagging, old, and a bit dirty. It needs some serious renovations and TLC- there's water stains along the ceiling and sagging ceilings in the lobby.

They do take pets! Which was exactly what we needed. They DO NOT have fridges or microwaves in the rooms- but they did comp one for us for medications- which was nice in my opinion.

We never tried breakfast- it was always swarmed by 7 foot tall beefy football players.

The lounge/restaurant is super divey, and Way understaffed. The food was not good, but the drinks (and drink selection) were. Is recommend the lounge only if you're desperate for subpar food or you wanna booze it up.

Honestly you pay for what you get. We needed to keep costs down and have a pet friendly place- so this did a good job. I wouldn't stay here again unless I again was in a tight bind and had a creature with me .
