I have stayed here two times for multiple nights each visit. It was bad 4 years ago, but it's only gotten worse since.

Due to attending a conference in town,  we have stayed here twice because it's one of the cheaper hotels in town, but they raise the prices during the conference, so this room was by no means cheap! It was more than $80/night!

The rooms are dirty and old. I couldn't even sleep decently because I was scared of bed bugs and other bugs. I didn't want to touch anything, and when I did, I immediately washed my hands afterwards. And I didn't want my luggage to touch anything either. I actually put my bags up by the bathroom counter.

This is also a welfare hotel, where many of their customers actually live there. We heard a man in the lobby talking about how his social worker had arranged it.

Last time we were there, the cops had come to handle something or other. There's just a lot of seedy people hanging around here. I saw a suspicious woman loitering and soliciting last time we were there, which may have been why the cops came.

There's also a pool in the middle of the parking lot, but I have never seen it open.

There is free wi-fi, so that was pretty nice, but that's about the only thing nice.

I really wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're desperate. If I find myself in Omaha again, I would definitely stay in Council Bluffs or another town if the hotels are all booked up over staying here again.

ok, if you're picky or you aren't tight on funds, don't stay here.  don't get me wrong - my one night stay wasn't horrible, but the place is just plain OLD.  It's in a decent area of town and close to civilization (major mall is 2 minutes away), but at first blush it reminds you of a seedy motel.  The hotel office was clean, and reminds you of any howard johnson or econo lodge hotel.  The clerk was a little creepy looking but knew what he was doing and gave decent customer service (just wasn't mr. sunshine).  The room - well, I slept with the lights on and I immediately got on my laptop and looked up "indicators for bed bugs".  Everything seemed fine though - the wifi worked great, the hot water came on right away, but every fixture, every piece of furniture, everything i saw except for the surge protector, was OLD AS HELL.  I only stayed here b/c i was in a hurry and it was just for one night, but with all the choices out there, I wouldn't do it again.
