This is now my go to place when I come to the big O.  Walk to the old market and parking connected to the building.  Good staff and in a pinch there's a decent restaurant connected.  The rooms are nice and well maintained.

We had never been to Omaha, so this was where our first impressions of Omaha were made.  Nothing short of spectacular.

Great service above and beyond the call of duty from many of the hardworking staff.  Everyone friendly and helpful, making reservations for us at restaurants, salons, and a car rental agency.  The shuttle service not only goes to and from the airport, but will drive you anywhere (and pick you up) within a 5 mile radius!  The room is comfortable with all the amenities, including wifi and cable.  Room service was quick.  And you can get just about anything you need 24 hours a day, including a cardio workout, without any fuss.

Breakfast buffet is hot and delicious.  We ate here every morning for four days and did not get thru the menu.  The Denver skillet was especially good.  The morning crew in the lounge is very friendly and attentive.

We have never stayed in a Hilton before, but if this is what to expect, we will definitely do it again.  We would definitely come back to this Hilton without hesitation.

This was a great place to stay over the Memorial Day weekend. Rooms were clean, nicely appointed, and priced fairly for the location of the hotel, which is really great for the Market district. A couple blocks walk, which is plenty close enough to walk there and back, and far enough away to keep traffic noise down.
We got a package deal that gave us free breakfasts in the morning from the little diner in the lobby, and lemme tell ya... I went down that first morning not expecting all that much, but it was really, REALLY good.... every single morning!
I was going to take a star off because of the pool area, which is so small that it's almost nonexsistent, but I didn't want to give just 3 stars... consider this a 3 1/2 star review.
Reccomended!

Cheap hotel prices even during graduation season.  Above average, solid service and decent ameneties.  Reason and I stayed here 3 nights and yes... I made it home all 3 nights... so proud... haha... or am I?

No but really from our room, we shared a King, clean and came with a fridge and microwave which was perfect since I brought home my delicious Pork Shank leftovers from Sullivan's down the street.  I was too busy drinking at dinner that I forgot to eat!

Every morning and evening we were warmly greeted by the front desk, at times there was only 1 attendant but they still did their best to keep everyone satisfied and taken care of.  They have a little snack shop.  Never utilize these little shops but are you kidding I spent half my time there!

Yes, I enjoy fine wine but when you don't have any, yeah I will be the first one to admit that I will settle (not with men...just wine) and I literally bought over 10 single bottle servings of Chardonnay and a couple White Zin.  shh... don't tell... kinda embarassed!

I woke up one morning after returning back from Iowa with the boys around 5am and I found a new pack of Garlic & Chicken White Sauce Lean Pocket in the mini-fridge!  Oh my!  I don't remember buying that but I do remember being intrigued (since I didn't know that flavor exiasted) so I must have bought it blacked out!  Yikes!  Never even got to try one!

The pool although small is lovely but what was lovelier was the hot tub, it was actually hot and felt good on my back... let's be honest on my kidneys and my liver... that were in pain from drinking and partying non-stop for 3 weeks.  It's been a rough month and it's only getting worse this weekend.  Just so many celebrations!!! Love it!  I know I abuse my body.

So yes I highly reccomend this hotel that is conveniently located downtown.  Perfect if you are attending a Creighton University graduation... 2 of my friends became doctors... a Pediatrician and an Anethesiologist.  So proud of them!!!

Oh they even though us a complimentary breakfast voucher, got made to order omletes and more!  It was great but I was hurting and couldn't eat my cheese, sausage and bacon omlette... just tried to hydrate myself with all the juices.

The breakfast server saw us an hour after we had breakfast and said,"Beautiful... a shower can make a big difference."  She was spot on and I totally deserved that comment so it made me smile and laugh.  I seriously dig and respect honest people.  I can handle them as most people probably cannot.

Great memories at the Hitlon Garden Inn.  Thank you!

Hilton's Garden Inn brand caters to the business traveler which was a good thing since I was in Omaha on business.  The Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Omaha is conveniently located, a very short drive from Eppley Airport, walking distance to the Old Market, the Qwest Center, and TD Ameritrade Park, and with easy access to the highway.  It has the standard business traveler hotel features like a very comfortable bed in an otherwise generic room, free internet, a small dining area that serves a limited hot breakfast, and a free shuttle to the airport.  In fact, you could slap signage for Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn Express or other competing brands and you could never tell the difference.  However, to be fair, the hotel still looks brand new.  The common areas and rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.  The one down side was that if you have a vehicle, then guest parking in the garage costs $10/day which is a bit pricey given the fact that IT'S OMAHA!  Upon final review, the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Omaha is an overall solid and affordable place to stay if you're in town for business or pleasure.

Many thanks to Matt and Karla for making my trip better!  I was there for 2 weeks and on night one my bed tried to swallow me.  Matt came to the rescue and promptly got me situated into a more comfortable room.  When I went to use the fitness center on two occasions I found all three treadmills to have some sort of dysfunction and informed the desk about it--in the meantime Karla set it up so that I could run down to the Hilton and use their facility.  Hot coffee was not avilable 24hrs--I tried it several times and it was tepid.  Any recommendations from the desk regarding Old Market restaurants were more like: just wander down there and there is plenty to choose from rather than being able to list off 3 top performers for different cuisines.  On the morning of my departure I stopped by the desk about 0450 to retrieve my laundry and head to the airport, however, the desk clerk was no where to be found.  The doors were open, the counter cluttered, but no clerk for at least 7 minutes!  I'd say that could be a HUGE building security oversight!!  I wasn't pleased.

Overall the service was average, but the staff lacked that "spirit of service" that I've come to love with Hilton.  Perhaps I'll give them another go at some point.

Also note that parking is $10/day as well.

Microwave and mini fridge in the room means instant points for me.

The staff was excellent, and the Tuesday and Wednesday night manager reception will help bring some of the business that would otherwise be going to Embassy Suites and Homewood Suites. The garage is convenient, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly.

Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance, as well as the Qwest Center and the new baseball stadium.  Great location, and easy access to the airport and the highway.

I stay here quite often on business.  The rooms are always clean and the front desk staff is great.  They remember me and are always willing to help when I need something.

I am not a fan of the room service menu.  It is very limited and quite pricey.  I mean, it is Omaha, for criminy sakes.  $33 for a small steak?  So, I have started meeting people for dinner or ordering delivery.

The attached parking garage is a huge plus.

Despite most Hilton Garden Inns being clones of each other, I am conceding an extra star for these guys. What i considered to be a service that was above and beyond what I'm accustomed to, is that after the reception gave me a walking map of the Old Market and careful instructions, she even said that if I needed a ride back to the hotel to just call and they would send a shuttle. This right here is what I consider to be providing a service that is beyond what their peers are offering and it's complimentary. Well done!

Aside from that you have the usual free wifi, free breakfast, 2 free bottles of water, clean rooms, small gym with individual TVs on the cardio equipment (with your own TV you forget you're even working out!), free airport shuttle service, and a very friendly staff.

Great hotel for a very reasonable price. The room was clean, and it's located in a great spot of Omaha, easy location to spring out and go exploring. There's even a hotel shuttle that goes between the hotel and the airport. The staff was nice and courteous, no complaints. Their breakfast dining area is great as well - and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

When I'm back here, this will be the hotel I'll be staying at.

Just as an update, upon checkout I did call these issues to the attention of the staff at the front desk when asked the usual "how was your stay?" They offered to comp the parking and I requested that my purchases from the lobby snack shop also be comped. I was told that I could not be comped or discounted what I paid because I had prepaid through the Hilton website. I would understand if it had been Orbitz or a third party, but you can't make an adjust to a purchase on your own company's website?? I shouldn't be surprised.

Everyone I came across working there was SO nice. I had to wait 45 minutes to get the shuttle from the airport but by the time I got to the hotel 3 different employees had apologized and they gave me a free breakfast voucher worth $11.95. Room was clean and great! I love Hilton garden inns

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Omaha during our cross country road trip.  The hotel was clean, modern, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.  The young blonde (can't remember her name) was so nice to my husband and me.  I enjoyed the infused flavored water (melon and strawberry) in the lobby in the evening and would encourage the hotel to keep that out all day.  I get thirsty in the morning, too!  :)  Parking is convenient in the attached garage (you have to go down to one and go in and out through the lobby, not a big deal) and fairly priced at $10/day.  Wi-Fi is free when you log in with your room number or HH number.  Wi-Fi signal was strong in our third floor room.  Like all HGI the bed and linens were high-quality and comfortable.  It was very quiet in the hotel and the HVAC worked well.  I did notice the door to our guest room was incredibly heavy, I mean, I work out and I could barely open it.  Probably the reason it was so quiet at night.  No complaints there.  My husband and I were pleasantly impressed by the cleanliness of the pool.  Nothing beats winding down after a long day of hoofing it all over town like a quick dip in the pool (got to burn off those steak dinner calories) and a relaxing sit in the hot tub.  The pool area was very clean (sometimes hotel pools need a good vacuum and shock of chlorine).  I only wish the pool was open later (currently closes at 11) to say, midnight.  If concerned about noise I'd suggest to hotel management perhaps you could make the pool adults only from 11 to 12.  Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Omaha was very enjoyable and we would return the next time we are in town.

On our recient trip to Omaha to visit my family we spent 4 nights here - picked after checking all the hotels in Omaha and it's location near Old Market.
I can't imagine we would have done better!
Large, clean and frendly the Inn was a perfect base of operations.  A walking distance from the lively nightlife of Old Market, as well as the Awesome Heartland of America Park, Riverfront & CenturyLink Center our 8th floor room had a great view of the city at night.
On the weekend it was filled with families, on Monday they were replaced by buisnessmen.  The in-house Breakfast was like a restraunt with great options and a chef who would cook your order.  The laundry area was resonable for price and they have what you need available down in the lobby.
Aside from the occasional whine of a cycle on the street running the light cycle at night it was quiet.
The parking was fine ($10) and attached to the Hotel, the location makes it easy to get to no matter which direction you come from.
Next trip out this will be the place for us to stay again!

First the pros:  clean, spacious rooms, very friendly attentive staff.  Breakfast was quickly prepared to,order, and choices were adequate.  Parking garage right next to the hotel. Walking distance to downtown Old Market.

Cons?  Our room didn't get cleaned until we called the desk at 4:00 to request.  Layout of cafe, parking access is a little inconvenient.  Lots of noise at night from street and partiers, but that might be seasonal.

As a weekly business traveler I would say this HGI is pretty standard to all others. Room was clean and spacious. I was here during the college World Series and concerned about the noise. I was on the 8th floor last room and never heard any noises!
My biggest complaint is the lack of a standard hilton restaurant. This HGI has a steak restaurant attached which you could order room service but a steak was $35-60 not including sides. Seemed way over priced. I would prefer A better option when I work late and want room service vs dining out. Check out Jackson st tavern and pickle men's. Do not recommend Nosh across the street.

I don't often give one star reviews, but this is one of the rare deserving occasions. Here's a horror story, brought to you by Hilton:

I arrived late at night, after reserving a room the day before. Getting into the hotel from the parking structure was a hassle in its own right given the elevator was shut down for renovations - but I digress.

Once I get inside, the rather curt woman working the front desk gave me a key to my room. I walked into my room at half past midnight, and heard a sudden SCREAM. "HEY!," a sleepy man hollered. So I shut the door, walked back, and called the front desk. "Is there someone in my room?" After a few moments of silence, the woman at the front desk told me "yes." The room I reserved a day before was accidentally given to someone else. To make matters WORSE, that was the LAST room at the hotel that night. I was sent to the Hampton Inn, a little ways drive, with little more than an apology.

Not exactly a pleasure cruise.

I was pretty impressed by there large ballroom.  Lighting was very modern and up to date. For banquet food there dishes had quality to them as far as what ingredients used.  Very basic/standard presentations but great quality.  I don't know all the details of how event planning went but as far as outcome they did an a great job
