My wife and I stayed here recently for our second visit. We were disappointed to find that the hotel was being renovated which wasn't mentioned during the reservation process. The entire renovation seemed half hazard with screws and nails along with other building materials laying on the ground throughout the common corridors and stairs. The room itself was fine but I was very disappointed in paying as much as we did for a hotel that was essentially torn apart.

This was an excellent choice.  The entire facility is kept very clean.  The staff was extremely helpful and polite.  They allow pets.  The nightly rate was priced fairly.  Indoor pool.  Business center.  Free coffee/breakfast.  They even had free . . . . beer, two kegs nightly in the TV room on the first floor - - great for catching a game.

Everything from check in to check out was AMAZING! The lady who checked us in was SO nice and helpful. Because we are priority club members we got a snack and cold bottles of water when checking in. You also get a free pass to lifetime fitness during your stay. The fitness room on site wasn't too bad and the swimming pool was a little small but was very clean. Good free breakfast and they also had happy hour with free snacks and drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). Overall this was the best holiday inn I have ever stayed at it was very clean, nice and the staff were all amazing!

Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time!! We showed up close to midnight and asked for a room. Check in was quick and easy and they even offered us a discounted rate since it was so late. Check out time is 12pm, which is also a bonus. Hotel was extremely clean, both in the room and lobby/hallways. Everything was great in the room; fridge, microwave, nice TV, and awesome shower. The guy who checked us in was polite, which seems to be a rarity nowadays. The free breakfast was awesome! We usually end up going out to eat when staying at hotels, so it was nice to have good food included in the price. I wish all hotels were this nice. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Omaha. Much easier (and cheaper) than staying downtown! Loved this hotel!!

For the most part everything was okay. However there was the previous persons Chinese in the fridge that had been there for at least a couple days.

During check in, I was surprised to receive an ice cold bottle of water and the ability to choose a few snacks out of a huge basket (because I'm a Priority Club member). Huge Plus!! I rarely see recognition...period... so that was refreshing.

You also get a complimentary pass to a nearby Lifetime Fitness - amazing?! I didn't actually see the HIE's fitness room, but why would you when you get a pass to Lifetime? It's a beautiful facility with everything you could ever need for a nice workout.

Pros:
- location (near a lot of restaurants and stores)
- priority club recognition
- free Lifetime Fitness pass
- I never had to touch the AC unit the entire stay. perfect temperature!
- comfy beds

Cons:
- shower did not drain well (stood in a few inches of water)
- sandpaper towels

I would stay here again.... just don't rub the towel on your face too hard.
