For the CWS, a great location. Although, they rented out most of their parkting for a tent/band. So be prepared to park several blocks away. The staff has no "customer focus". They treated us all equally bad. Thier attittude was so bad you had to laugh. They won't last long if they treat guests this poorly at times other than the CWS. There are too many other hotel options in this part of town. Service was FAR different in the Union bar connected to the hotel. The staff in the bar at all times of the day was great. The Union Bar should offer thier services to the hotel -- if nothing else - help train the front desk staff at the hotel. I will attempt the many other hotels in the area for the next CWS trip....the staff was a huge turnoff.

I stay at Holiday Inn Hotels and am a Platinum member who has had overall great experiences with the chain.  I booked a 20,000 point room at this hotel and needed to cancel at 11 a.m. the day of reservation.  In all of my experiences I've had no problems cancelling  the night of before 6 p.m. and a large reason for using the HI chain.  This hotel is different with a 24 hour cancellation policy.  Priority Club spoke to the local GM about the situation, the GM was unwilling to cancel a NON REVENUE night and has shown no flexibility in cancelling day of.  This lack of flexibility has caused the Holiday Inn chain to lose a customer.  I have enjoyed the overall HI experience but going forward as a business traveler I will be using the Marriot and Hilton chains in the highly competitive business of attracting the traveling business man. This was an avoidable situation that could be rectified by one person who chose to stumble over dimes to pick up pennies!

Normally I stay with friends when visiting Omaha, but my boyfriend and I were stuck an extra night due to our flight being cancelled and our friends had already left town for the holidays. Since the cancellation was weather-related, we had to get our own hotel. We booked last minute on Priceline and got a really good rate, but I would have been satisfied with this hotel even if we had paid the regular rate. The room was nice - we had one king bed and a separate "sitting room" area in ours. The bed was extremely comfortable - like of the quality that I've had at much fancier hotels. They have an airport shuttle and also a "downtown shuttle." The downtown shuttle is really just basically that they will find an employee to drive you in the hotel van to wherever you want to go and pick you up when you're done (probably within a specified area, we were going to a restaurant that was about a mile away). I would stay here again if I needed to.

Excellent service, nice location, new hotel. Snagged a room on Priceline for cheap, definitely was better than expected. About 1 mile from Old Town but they have a free shuttle. Great deal!

great location for anything at century link or td ameritrade.  We did not use it but have a free shuttle that runs pretty late to a lot of locations.  I would definitely stay here again if I have the kids.  My son loved the water slide and pool.  It was kind of nice for a 10 and 12 year olds.  They liked swimming here but theres not so much you can get them out of the pool when its time without much fuss.  The sports bar downstairs was packed and looked like a fun place to be although we did not go in

This hotels staff and owner, Kirt Trivedi, are very rude and inconsiderate. The hotel is rundown and they make you pay reservation fees despite family emergencies.

The owner has no compassion for his guests and allows no flexibility with reservations. Kirt forced me to pay $2,800 for 2 rooms that I tried cancelling the reservation 25 days prior.

Avoid this hotel and these disrespectful staff members.

Found it on Hotwire.

Great place and seems to be revamped. I did not check out the pool but did have an average pizzeria / bar attached.  No free breakfast.

The room was clean and spacious with a sitting area and TV seperate from bedroom. However, high-def TV's with no high-def programming equals fail.

It seems to be the new norm that revamped hotels don't offer the old standard ppv movies anymore. It must be too much money to install.

It might have got 4 stars if the darn asian cleaning woman did not keep trying to come in when I was trying to ............have a private discussion with my gf.

Hey, for 60 bucks in downtown Omaha with a free shuttle till midnight, you really can't go wrong here.

Terrible front desk staff. No one could answer billing questions for me regarding my rooms. I am a platinum IHG member which meant absolutely nothing to these ignorant workers. Don't expect good customer service at this hotel. You are a number on their "IHG Rewards Goal" for the month.

This place was a perfect downtown location.  About 5 minutes from the airport it's great for the stay before your flight goes out.   The hotel and room was Roomy and clean.  Service was great, picking up 24 hours from the airport with a phone call when you land.

Loved this hotel! Traveled with husband and 9 month old for business and pleasure. We ended up staying an extra night due to bad weather and we wanted to stay because property was so nice. The rooms are Huge! I've never had 2 KING beds in a room before. That was great! The pool area was fun and I think would be great for any family with young children. The staff was all very friendly that we encountered. I forgot to mention how awesome the beds were- EXTREMELY comfortable!

The only thing I didn't have a good experience was with the restaurant connected to the hotel (the union pizzeria) bad experience there and wouldn't recommend it.

I stayed here for two nights while traveling for work. It was a comfortable enough hotel and seemed like a great location. My bed and room was very nice and cozy.

I did go down and jump in the pool for a little bit though it seemed more for kids with the play area. The regular pool was small but nice to have.

They did not have any kind of continental breakfast when I stayed here and to me, that's a deal breaker. But I was traveling for work and did not pay for the hotel. That also means I have no price comparison to give.

The location is nice and close to downtown Omaha while being easy to get to the airport. I had a late in the day flight so I didn't mind, but if you have an early morning flight, there are closer hotels to airport.

Nice rooms, decent pool, and a restaurant is attached. Overall a good stay but I wouldn't recommend the pizza in the restaurant. (Though I should add that I am from Chicago and very PICKY).

Stayed overnight one night when a friend and I were in town for a concert. Very nice clean room. We didn't get to use the facilities, but the pool area looked fun.

Bed was comfy, room was a nice size. Very enjoyable stay.

We chose this hotel specifically for the waterpark for our young child.  We stayed two nights.

The hotel itself was extremely clean.  We stayed on the top floor to avoid noise, and our room was very quiet-- we didn't hear anything outside our room even on a busy Saturday night.  Our room was large, and the beds and pillows were so incredibly comfortable.  Heavenly!

The waterpark area was nice; our little one had a blast.  The "hot tub" wasn't too hot for children, so even infants and toddlers were able to bounce around in the warmer water.  While the signs posted state "no lifeguard on duty," there was a staff member posted in the pool area every time we were there.  I also noticed staff testing the water every few hours, which was impressive.

The hotel has a shuttle to transport guests just about anywhere within a certain mile radius, including restaurants, shopping, downtown, etc..  We opted for the shuttle when visiting the children's museum.  Good experience.

There is a coffee shop area in the lobby which serves lattes, cappuccino, and basic pastries.  The latte I ordered was decent.

I didn't use the business area or the 24-hr exercise room, but they looked very nice.

The onsite restaurant, Burger Theory, has only been open a couple weeks, and we really enjoyed our meals there.  Great food and wonderful service, but pricey.

Our only disappointment was that the pool/ waterpark was closed for a scheduled maintenance (for a week) beginning the morning we checked out.  Try explaining to toddler that they can't swim after promising we'd have some fun before check-out.  I feel the staff should have informed guests of the scheduled maintenance, since the waterpark was the draw of this hotel.

I recommend making the reservation online.  I made ours over the phone with a representative in a call-center, and a few things were mixed up.  Nothing serious, and was fixed within a minute.

We would definitely stay here again.
