Stayed at this La Quinta Inn over the past week.  Had no choice due to being there for a baseball tournament.  This was a sponsor hotel for the tournament.  It is obvious these tournaments do not care where they house the teams that play there.  Terrible place.  Bugs in rooms and on the beds.  Shower heads that came up to my chin.  I am 6'2" tall.  The showers were made for people under 5'5".  Dirty lobby.  Never changed the sheets.  Water was off for a period of time one day.  I would stay in my car before I would stay here again.

This La Quinta is for the dogs--as in, they allow dogs to stay with you in the rooms.  I don't think they allow dogs in the swimming pool, however, though it was quite popular even though it was only one of those small motel type pools.  But I prefer them as they remind me of the small motel pool in Kansas City from 1977 (The Executive Inn--nothing about it was "executive" believe me), which impressed me more than staying in the Radisson Muellbach Hotel at the time.

Basic breakfast buffet (cold); you have to be a kind of adventurer to find this place off of Maple and I-680, it's hidden way behind a bunch of apartments and an abandoned Perkins

The only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because it was relatively clean and the woman behind the counter was nice. I have never stayed ata hotel louder than this one. was kept up at ALL hours and ice machine was right in the hallway for you to hear. If a hotel looks like it has shade balls living in it (and this place looks like it does) you should stay awayunless you have no other options.

usually like la Quinta, but NOT this one.  Made reservation ahead of time ( due to BH annual meeting rate , jumped to $144/night).  Room was so bad we asked for another.  First was told that no other room was available, until office person came to room and tried to breathe.  Second room was OK; no ac, one light switch sparked, and not "la Quinta" clean. We reduced our stay by a day.  Some of the people we met said that hotel in Lincoln was better.

For once, this hotel I am staying at is not on business.  Had i been staying here on business, I most likely would have rated it a 2 star.

But, for a personal trip, on my own dime, this was ok for the value.  I paid about 65 a night....

I liked that there are many entrances into the hotel, so when it is super hot, you are never far from the car to the entrance.  I don't like the smell of dog that hits you in the face as you walk in.... even though I am a dog lover :).  However, upon entering the room, I was pleased, they were very clean.  The doggy scent is really only in the stairwell... so I was still ok.

They have an outdoor pool, and big tubs outside the gate with towels, so that was nice.

There is a bar/grill within walking distance, so that is a plus as well.

Over all, not the best La Quinta I have stayed in, but it got the job done, and for a price that allowed me to spend my money on more stuff for my trip :)

The looks are not bad just don't get to close. Went to plug into an outlet behind the nightstand, horribly dirty!! Dogs barking constantly by my room. Check in was very efficient and nice staff. Beds were pretty decent. For the price it seems fitting for what you get...

Bed was super comfy.  Convenient on and off freeway.  Close to a decent restaurant.  Pet friendly.  Bathroom could be a little cleaner and carpet was a little shabby.  Bed and nice sheets made up for that.  Quiet area.

I will never stay at this hotel again. It's a TERRIBLE neighborhood. My husband and I were changing duty stations from Montana to South Carolina. We stayed at this hotel in Omaha and woke up to our window completely smashed in. We called the police and they told us this has been happening almost every night in this neighborhood and parking lot. They had no security cameras and weren't remorseful at all. They need to tell people to be careful before staying there. BE CAREFUL!

This hotel was cheap, and that's what my family was looking for; however, cleanliness could be improved. I've stayed in some scuzzy hotels, and this was definitely NOT one of them, but there were areas that could have been vacuumed more thoroughly and the bed spreads seemed dirty (crumbs and questionable stains) while the sheets were clean. The continental breakfast was nothing fancy, but served it's purpose and seemed fresh enough. The halls smelled of smoke and animals (they allow small animals), but it was not overbearing. This hotel is nothing to write home about, but it got the job done. I have no terrible complaints. If you're exhausted, this hotel is fine.

I guess I've must have stayed during an alright time for this hotel? It's not a fancy hotel. It's a family hotel that allows pets, which is what I needed. I've been really fortunate to find a place that lets me keep my cat with me.

There were a few times that the hallways got loud due to a group of kids or teenagers, but it never seemed too unreasonable. Maybe because I'm younger and remember what it's like to be a kid on a sports trip, but none of them were overtly rude. Besides, that isn't necessarily the hotel's fault.

The complimentary breakfast is small but modest. I don't mind the bagels and my boyfriend liked the hard boiled eggs. There's cereal, too, and muffins. And most importantly: coffee.

My only complaint is that whenever I needed to extend my visit, the person at the counter never extended the time on my room key. So I'd try to get into my room and be locked out. A bit frustrating.

It's a step above a motel, but meets my expectations. My room didn't have any problems.

Nothing special here.  Average hotel with thin walls.  You will hear peoples conversations in the hallway.  You get what you pay for.

It's clear that this hotel has received it's share of negative reviews and I now know why.

We stayed here on a roadtrip from Utah to Chicago and we were forced to stop due to awful weather. It was literally a blizzard. You know, that vortex thing that passed through? Well, lucky for us to be in Omaha at the time.

It was so awful that we stopped to eat at Old Chicago and then googled the nearest hotel from there and ended up in this place.

We didn't have time to check Yelp or TripAdvisor, which is not our usual plan of action.

The hotel needs some work. The checkin was fast and the room was alright, but the whole place could use some attention.

Sleep didn't come easy because there was a couple parked outside (in the blizzard) yelling at each other with the windows down about drug money. No lie. Since I'm can't pass up a juicy story.. it was entertaining for the first 10 mins. Hours later..I had others thoughts on the situation.

We learned our lesson and will always take the time to check online, no matter how bad the weather is!!

My first stay ever at a La Quinta.  The place looks nice from the outside, the rooms look ok from the inside at first.  We checked in 10/31 for the night at around 10pm and went to sleep. The next day while at my event in town, I noticed some itching bites showing up on my waist line and wrist.  They got worse as the day went on.  I knew what they were: Bed Bugs!!

We went back to the room and took the bed apart looking.  The bed was new, it was still pretty dirty with lots of pet hair, human hair and dust on the box spring and down under the headboard.  I found what looked to be a husk of a bedbug.  I went to the front desk and told them and showed the host my bites.  All she could do was move us to another room.  We did that, and I asked for my money back.  She refused.  We were NOT happy.  Spent the next night scared to go to sleep.  When I checked out, that lady was nice and refunded me the first night's charge.  I asked for the Manager's card and said I would be contacting her.

We had to go home, go right to the laundry mat and put ALL out stuff that had touched the hotel room into the dryers on hot for 45 minutes.  Thankfully we didn't bring any of the bugs back with us.

On Tuesday 11/4 the manager actually called me after the non-satisfactory survey I sent in.  She wanted to tell me their bug crew "found no activity" of an infestation.  I tried to tell her I'd had experience with this before at a former apartment, and bedbugs don't always nest in the beds, they can replace the beds over and over but the bugs live in the walls, carpets, nightstands, etc.  She kept cutting me off and being really rude.  I asked if they brought in a bug sniffing dog, and got not answer to that.  She actually told me the one lady should NOT have refunded my first night!  I said what an awful policy that was, and didn't she know that information like this would be shared?  She didn't care, won't budge to give me a refund for the second night.

Terrible management, don't stay here.  Your best bet is the Motel 6 on 84th.

My dog and I were pretty comfortable here the first night.  We decided to stay another night.

The second night, the people across the hall decided to PARTAY at 0400.  I decided to LEAVE even after the nice girl at the front desk kicked their asses OUT of the hotel.

I was comped my second night, which was very nice of her.  I would probably stay here again.

Negative:  No fridge or microwave.
Positive:  comfortable beds and dogs are welcomed.
