By far..this hotel has been the worst hotel I have ever been to! I arrived at the hotel in the evening of May 31st for a business conference which was to be held the following day at the hotel. Firstly, the hotel is under massive construction with dusty floors et all. Secondly, the WIFI was not working in my room. When I went back to the reception to check with the staff, they gave me an IT support number. After being put on hold for at least 20 mins I was told by the IT personnel that the WIFI was not working in the entire hotel. Really?? No WIFI in the entire hotel? Thirdly, the hotel has NO business center. I needed to send out a couple of emails and there was no way in hell I could do it from the hotel. Even the network on my phone seemed to hate the hotel. Fourthly, when i decided to grab some food, I got to know that the restaurant in the hotel was shut for dinner. Wow! That's fantastic..u welcome us to a dirty dusty hotel, with no WIFI, no business center and now there is no food...I heard a few angry customers arguing with the hotel staff about the lack of promised facilities in the hotel. I was in no mood to add to the woes of the hotel staff who were anyway having a rough day. DO NOT STAY HERE

There were bugs in the room and a ceiling panel was falling down in the room. When I told the staff and they didn't seem to care nor did they take care of the problem. I would not recommend this hotel. I could have let the bugs and falling ceiling panel side if the hotel staff had acted like they cared about keeping me as a customer. They didn't apologize nor did they take care of the problem.

Stayed at the Ramada from the Nov. 9th 2012 to the 11th.  Yes, the hotel is under construction and is a little disheveled, but the rooms are great.  The staff was very accommodating and attended to everyone's needs.  We stayed while an event was going on at the convention center and didn't feel like it was out of control.  The food at the restaurant  (Castaways) was very good.  Ate breakfast twice and dinner once.  I would recommend this hotel to other people.  If you are looking for a romantic get away, PLEASE REALIZE THIS HAS A WATER PARK AND ATTRACTS MANY KIDS. If you are not into kids, then I would suggest staying else where.  Also, the elevators are extremely slow and will require you to wait if not staying on the first floor.

Total rip-off, and gross.  No suites available, but they'll let you reserve one, then send you next door to Baymont Inn. Or you can just skip the hassle and reserve there directly - it was $40 cheaper anyway.  The hotel was gross, Calleen at the desk was rude to both my wife and I. "Under construction" is the unapologetic refrain from the staff, but this is a lousy excuse for a really yucky experience. Stay anywhere else - that's my advice to you. We really enjoyed our stay at the Baymont Inn next door.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. You will regret it.

We stayed here last week, and everything people are saying about the hotel and renovations is true.  It's a complete mess.  They should NOT allow people to stay at this hotel.  The renovation is being completely mis-managed.  It's not just a floor or certain parts of the hotel, THE ENTIRE HOTEL is completely ripped up and in total disarray!!

I think the only hotel that I've stayed in that was worse, was the Westward Ho in Vegas, twenty years ago. But, I think I also paid $30 for that room, not the $149 a night they were charging.  If you stay here (and I strongly suggest that you don't) be prepared to complain, moan, gripe, etc. to get what they should be bending over to give you.  They finally took $20 off each night and allowed us to check out early, refunding the last night of our stay (they required us to prepay, a total of $716 for 4 nights).  It was still a total ripoff.

The Cocokey water park is terrible.  Everytime you went down there, they would give you a different price to get in.  Finally enough people must have complained that they let everyone in for free.  Which was the fair price for what it is.

Ramada management should be completely embarrassed by this property.  If I were running the show, I would have saved the $25mm and tore the property down.  Because we were in renovated rooms, and they still weren't that nice.  I seriously don't think I would EVER stay at any Ramada again, ever, because of this experience.

Believe the reviews, it's HORRIBLE.  Stay anywhere else, you'll be glad you did.

Worst experience ever!  Was in town unexpectedly for a funeral and made the mistake of booking through hotels.com .  Never used hotels.com and had previously not stayed at this hotel.  My room was in a second building very far away from the lobby (and coffee!).  There is a water park in the building, so I guess with kids it would be okay but very musty - watch out if you have allergies.  The worst part is I stayed for 2 nights on a 4 night reservation- I checked out with the hotel early BUT did not realize that I needed to notify hotels.com . This hotel would NOT refund the two additional nights - bad, bad business.  Both companies have a lost a potential customer.  Don't stay here!

I went here with four people. The room was nice and It had wifi. The beds were pretty comfy. It had a restaurant called Castaways. It had really tasty food. It was a nice hotel and it had a decent gift shop.

We were here for CWS, so expected a hotel full of kids and baseball people.  We primarily chose it for the water park (which was meh).  Our room was first floor which was convenient...but across from the laundry room which meant constant talking and noise which management tried to control (kind of ).  Our room was fairly comfortable except for the missing towels and pillows and the huge divot in the middle of the mattress.  Internet access was fine.  Kids slept in the pullout since they ran out of the room type we booked.  The bathroom was a 3-S style so only one person in there at a time, thank you.  Good towels though.

We went here for Anime NebrasKon with my college's Anime Club. All but one elevator worked. The staff at the gift shop were the most friendly, and we could get anything we want like candy and soda pop. When I went to the concessions for a box of pizza, they were out of pepperoni, but the lady who took my order was very rude and UNFRIENDLY and gave me attitude! If you want soda pop, I do NOT recommend Pepsi products, especially at the bar! Go to the gift store where they also sell Coke products and you can enter codes to MCR if you buy the plastic containers. However, there were no recycle bins for soda containers, which violates the green standards; because aluminum and plastic are NOT biodegradable. Place recycle bins EVERYWHERE for people to discard soda containers!

Beware the renovation.  Be very cautious.

Room was not ready for occupancy when I was given the key. Between the construction, the furniture being moved out and the elevators that have one speed (very slow) ... I won't return.

Brent was the desk clerk and checked us in! Extremely helpful and accommodating!!! He knew the area for great food choices! Great place to take the kids and have a blast!! Picture of the water park online does not do it justice! There is more to see. Rooms were spacious, bed was great! Clean!!! Food at the claim house... Breakfast was good and pizza's for $10.00 can't beat that! 2 pizza's filled the 5 of us up easy!

The parking lot was full and we had to park WAY far away.

We had a reservation.  When we arrived at 3PM I stood in line for 20 minutes, only to be told that our room would not be ready until 4PM.   I went on to my function (now late because of the long unproductive wait att he check-in desk) and my wife waited in the lobby  The room was not ready at 4PM.  It was finally ready at 5PM.  The room had a dirty towel still in the shower. The coffee maker in the room did not work.

At the event that was there, the bathrooms were NEVER checked by the hotel staff.  The mens bathroom ran out of paper towels and the trash cans were overflowing so dirty towels were being tracked out of the bathroom and into the hallway.

I could not make a connection to their internet with my cell phone or iPad.  ATT had little to no signal, so without the wireless network I could not use my phone for the entire function.  When I got to the room I called their technical support and finally got both devices working.  It should not be that hard to get connected.

Renovation must be complete. The place was clean an modern so I can't corroborate others' negative reviews. But then, Ramadas have always been lower in quality so I believe them.

Cost $54 which was a deal. Got in too late for water park. Sounds like this place could be a winner or loser depending on how Ramada decides to staff their newly remodeled place. Hope they do it right.

My family stayed here as a package with the waterpark.  This review is just for the hotel portion of our stay.  We had queen suites which were on the 1st floor in the main building atrium.  There is another floor above, but because the way it is laid out, they are not directly above you which cuts down on some of the overhead floor stomping from elephants above.  The rooms all open into the atrium (and have a door on the other side to exit into the hallway.  The atrium has sitting areas, a coffee bar and an adult bar and a little indoor river.  Overall, very convenient for our family as we had multiple rooms and could just block the doors open and hang out in the atrium as if it were our own living room since we were within feet of our room doors.  I don't know what other rooms were like, but would recommend these rooms to families coming in larger groups and needing multiple rooms.  The suites had two queen beds and a pull out bed.  Downside is that you are probably the farthest rooms away from the waterpark but that was no biggie.

The rooms themselves were fine.  The seem to be recently renovated to appear up scale, but you can see pretty quickly it's a bit of a lipstick on a pig approach.  The only major problem with our room was the tub didn't drain well so you'd end up showering in a lake.  The beds were a little on the firm side for me but the linens and pillows seemed clean. But other things throughout the hotel just weren't up to par.  The ice machines were broken. The dryer in the laundry area was broken (would have been nice to dry swim wear between each trip to the waterpark). By  mid-day the coffee bar was empty and dirty.  The adult bar in the atrium was either out of stuff, or just plain closed because they didn't have staff to work it (the bar in the hotel restaurant was open at least.)

The hotel restaurant was rarely crowed (with the exception of breakfast) and the food was ok.  Pizzas were pretty good.  Breakfast buffet was fine.

Would go again and stay if we went with a large family group again as it worked out really well having our rooms, restaurant, and entertainment all in one location.

Huge disappointment! We brought our kids here for family Christmas and booked a suite. So disappointed in what they call a suite! Don't plan on much here.

Also, continental breakfast during the week ONLY and it was pathetic to put it nice! We had a choice between 2 cereals, 2 pastries, and 2 fruits. Bowls were extremely small and not enough for anybody! Counter was a mess and the one person tending to breakfast couldn't keep it stocked. Ran out of orange juice before it was time to shut down and it wasn't ever filled. I've seen better at super cheap hotels while traveling.

Right outside our door was a huge area where no one under 21 could enter. WE HAVE 3 KIDS!!! This was booked a long time ago WITH water passes so you would think we could get a family friendly atmosphere.

Water park is wonderful however!!! It's worth the money. There's a locker room there if you wanted to stay at another hotel and then go to the water park during the day.

Nice place to stay...I'm out here on business...we had a suite...on the first floor...the staff was super nice...we had a fireplace (?!?!?!) in the room which was super rad...there's a water park resort in here that we will be checking out in the days to come when we have a day off...they have a huge open relaxing lobby area too

The hotel is updated fairly well, but the whole reason to stay here as a family is for the water park. The slides don't open until 4pm!?!?  Huh!??  So swimming before the morning departure is worthless. $15 per child for kiddie pools is ridiculous.  Why not incentivize people to stay...have breakfast in your hotel (think more $$$) and then enjoy the WHOLE water park.  C'mon CoCo!

We found a roach crawling in our bed. Enough said. But I will add that the place stinks and reeks of mildew. Never will I ever stay here again and I'll stay away from any other Ramada if I can help it.

Don't stay here. Booked from an online 3rd party for one night and decided to extend it to 4 nights - my mistake and they made me change rooms in a crappy queen size bed that was broken and very small. Poor customer service. Can't wait to leave.

Given the negative reviews, I was really hesitant to stay here. But because my choices were limited for a recent event, I decided to suck it up and stay here.
I kept reading the reviews and contemplated canceling several times. My experience was overall positive with the hotel staff being welcoming throughout. Room was clean. Bathroom was not dirty as most reviews stated, though we did have an issue with the bathtub drain being slow. We contacted maintenance and it was fixed perfectly. Free wi-fi, free parking, and convenient to the freeway, this is a smart choice of you are going to Omaha.
