after being stuck in the Las Vegas Airport for 91/2 hours & would not arrive in Omaha untill after the rental car co was closed,we were forced to find an altrnative hotel.
a nice man who was sitting behind us in the airport overheard our frantic search for a new hotel at the last minute, he identified himself as a publisher of a travel magazine, & the reccomended the sleep inn
as it was close to the airport ,had a late night free shuttle & had stayed there many times himself.
So takiing his advice we called & made reservations for that night..
When we arrived at12:30 A.M.the staff was waiting for us, escorted us to our room. The room was not to huge but clean & cormfortable. The next morning a complimentary continential breakfast was waiting for us. Again we took the shuttle back to the airport to pick up our rental car & were on or way.
I found the hotel to be just right in our in our search to stay for the night at the last minute & would not hesitate to stay there again.

I travel for work all the time. All I expect out of a hotel is a place to check my email, watch the tube and get a good nights sleep. I'd assume I can get that at any hotel over $80 no matter where I am.
I arrived at the sleep inn, after a drive from Norfolk, NE, and had a 6am flight to Chicago the next day. I got in my room, took a shower and was all ready to check email and go to bed. I pull out the chair at the desk, and the leg falls out!!! So I call for another chair, and they bring me one, but make me keep the broken one in my really small room!! Grrrr... OK, no biggie...
So I am ready for bed now, I get in bed and there is ONE pillow. Not your average pillow, but one that has been through both world wars underneath 20 tons of steel. It was like a piece of cardboard.
So I call down and ask for them to bring me some pillows. They say they are busy and I have to come down and get them. That's fine, but that means a 10 minutes affair to put on my dress clothes since I am on the road for business traveling lightly for a few days. So I call back and ask them to bring them when they get a chance, and they basically refuse.
Terrible front desk service. Good thing I wasn't paying for this and it was for travel. I will not be back to the sleep inn next time I'm in Omaha.

Decent room and staff. Careful if you plan to do any work on the internet, though. The wifi is as poor as I have had in a hotel in a long time.

Five stars is hard to obtain with me. This place has been very recently remodeled and it shows. The room was a top notch for the price paid (~$70). the room easily competes with the Fairfield Inns, Comfort Inns, Holiday Inn Express arena. The breakfast the next surprise. It was fully stocked and very clean presentation. I had an issue with my waffle making abilities and one of the staff came in and assisted. It was genuine not because they get paid to do it. The entire staff that day was courteous and made various greetings.
If you are staying near the Omaha airport this should be on your list.
