This is by far the worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at.   The heater in the room wasn't working, but we didn't notice until late at night.  We ended up staying over another day due to a reservation mix-up with the airline and requested that the heater be repaired.  We returned later that afternoon and not only had the heater not been repaired, no one had even come into the room to make up the beds. 1/4 of the room was flooded.  I asked for a refund and said we would find another room.  The night manager said he wasn't authorized to do that.  I asked  him to call the manager and he said he couldn't.  Despite the fact the entire building appeared vacant, we were moved to a room on the farthest  side of the building and upstairs. Turns out the heater wasn't working in there either and we were provided with a small room heater.  I asked that the manager contact me - he never did.  I called corporate to complain and received a call back a week later saying there was no record of us staying in Missoula, Montana - what??????  Told her we were in Reno and never heard from them again.  I will never stay in any Days Inn again if I can avoid it.

The room was clean enough, however it looks like it was last decorated in 1975. Not good, not bad, but I wouldn't stay here again.

I will not stay at the Reno Days Inn again. They practice gender discrimination by putting the reservation under the man's name when it was the woman who called, then won't let the woman check in. They add hidden costs after you book on the phone for the same night because there are local fees about which you were not told, but won't let you cancel when you arrive because they require 24 hours notice of cancellation without penalty. They tell you breakfast is from 6:00 - 9:30 when you check in, then tell you breakfast is over when you arrive for it at 9:00. They put you in a double room for 4, but only give you 3 towels and the towels are all a dirty looking off white. Bad experience!

Also, the free wifi didn't work!

I changed my mind, staying here in the hot weather is totally fine. The AC is strong as hell and the noise level from the pool area is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. They have the best desk staff around too, and the location is killer for inexpensive food.
