It's no 5 star hotel but $80.XX for a double king room on a busy labor day weekend, I can't complain. The family at the front desk was nice, they let us see the room before we paid. Even offered to let me see the camera room (I was paranoid from my experience just a few minutes before *See review for Town House Motor Lodge). The room was clean. Cable TV, fridge, free WiFi, free parking, good size convenient store right downstairs, two black walk from the strip.. I would recommend this place if you're on a budget. Only complaint is that our A/C didn't work, but it's okay.

The Owner was a ass hole!!! When I called to book a room I made sure that it had a fully working AC AND THEY SAID YES. When we checked in at 7 pm we got our key and unpacked all of our stuff in the room and took off we got back at 1:45 am and the AC WAS NOT WORKING WAS NOT BLOWING COLD AIR ! It was really hot in the room and Smelled like shit. My Asthma was acting up due to the heat being in side the room. So I go and ask the owner in the office to get me a new room because it was supper hot in there . With a nasty attitude he said the AC IS WORKING WE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. He didn't believe me and was being really rude and l unprofessional. So he said I will give you 5 min to get all my stuff and get out if I wanted a refund . So I said ok . I didn't get a full refund he charged me 27 bucks and gave me the rest which was 87 bucks . WHY YOU SHOULD NOT COME HERE !!!!! 1.They lie to. 2. The rooms smell like crap 3. If the AC DONT WORK YOUR FUCKED! 4. The owner is a ass hole! 5.Its a Prostitution station . 6. The phones don't work /can't reach a operator . Price are low but the rooms and service sucks. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Better to pay a little more but to get better service.

This review is for the convenient store only. Wide selection of snacks, drinks, and liquors. Hot foods available on occasion.
The reasons for the two star rating?
-Extremely inflated prices, probably higher than any other store of this type downtown.
-Extremely long wait times in the cash register line, as it usually also serves as the motel check-in desk, although there's a sign pointing to a supposed separate motel office.
-There's never a dull moment on this street corner, as it's directly across from RTC Fourth Street Station, and just a few blocks down from the homeless shelter. I've seen knife fights, arguments, drug deals, and madness in general. It seems like it's a hotspot for those who've been kicked off of/out of other premises.
It's worth walking a couple of extra blocks down to Walgreens, or one of the several shops of this type directly on Virginia Street.
