I wish I could leave not a single star.. This place was ridiculously BAD. Total tweaker/ prostitute-ville. We were looking for a place to stay over labor day weekend (September 3-4, 2011) since all the good hotels were booked. This place was one of the few who had rooms available. $70? We'll take it. The lady at the desk takes our cash, gives us our key and has us wait a few minutes since the "room wasn't ready". She doesn't give us a receipt or bill of sale, just one key. As we're standing there waiting, one old tweaker is inside cleaning up and another old tweaker is wheeling in a fridge. About ten mintues later they tell us that the room is ready. So we go in; The carpet floor is black from dirt, std's and whatever else might be soaked in there. There is no TV, the fridge barely works and the only thing going for this room is that the toilet flushes pretty good. The lady goes on to tell us "Sorry there's no TV, someone broke in last week and stole it". Wait... WHAT?! No way.. We go to get our money back. The old tweaker at the desk wasn't too happy about our request and goes on the defense, trying to convince us that what the other lady meant was that a maintenance man took the TV for repair. I don't care, give me my money back. She then takes the cash out of the envelope and throws it on the counter, coins falling on the floor and all. I told her "You can keep the .37 cents, I'm not picking that sh*t up". Were we the only people desperate enough to go here in the first place? I recommend Fireside Inn a few blocks away, a few bucks more for an actually decent room. Don't go to Town House Motor Lodge unless you're looking for drugs or a nasty prostitute.
