I grabbed a great deal for this hotel through Hotwire (under $130/night!) which I was at first worried about, but once we arrived I was pretty impressed. We were only on the 4th floor, with windows that were frosted, so no impressive views of the city. But the room itself was probably one of the larger hotel rooms I've stayed in within the city and worked perfectly for 2 people. The space was used efficiently, with a double bed, chaise, table, chair and dresser/closet creating a home-like feel. Our room was equipped with a wall-mounted large tv, a few lamps, and a nifty alarm clock which could be connected with a phone/mp3 player to wirelessly play music or videos on the tv screen/speakers. The bathroom was tiny but nice. The whole place was clean, reception was always SUPER friendly and helpful, and we loved the little water bottle area that each floor had! The location was AMAZING and we were able to walk to times square for broadway shows each night, passing tons of resturants on the way... easily walked to 5th avenue for shopping... could have very easily grabbed the subway as well. All in all, a good stay!!

With an impending snow storm, my office booked a block of rooms for commuting employees. The rooms are just as the pictures portray them. Very clean and plenty of space for two people. The little L-shaped couch is nice. Plenty of outlets all over the room. The room also came with a mini-fridge and a microwave.
The TV is mounted on the wall, but I was able to hook up my Roku box to an HDMI port on the side. The wifi has no password so I had Netflix up and running in full HD within minutes while I unpacked.
I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose!

Great experience, convenient location. Whole staff was super attentive and cheerful. Free WiFi. Free filtered water stations on every floor. Nice little fitness room. Snacks on the 27th floor.
As for the room itself, nothing fancy--just a clean, small room to sleep and keep your stuff while you explore NYC.

We got a "deal" for this hotel via Priceline for $195 a night, which apparently is good for a hotel in Midtown Manhattan. I was nervous about the deal I got after looking at other Club Quarters reviews, but I'm glad I didn't let them deter me.
This Grand Central location has been open for about 2 months, so it's brand spankin' new. When we arrived we were greeted immediately in the small lobby by Justin, a very friendly and helpful employee. He got us checked in within minutes using the check-in kiosks (he also helped us find the hotel when we called them, horribly lost on our way there) so we really appreciated his help. There are three elevators to service 27 floors and they moved at a good pace. You have to swipe your room key every time you go into the elevator to get to your floor, which I loved. Our room was cozy but comfortable, the beds were very comfortable as well. They truly utilized every inch of space they had. The bathroom was very nice and clean. Even though the rooms are small we never heard anyone in the rooms next to us, you hear the doors in the hallway open & close but that's it, can't complain at all. Make sure you check out the club house/balcony on the 27th floor, amazing views from both sides and they give away free snacks!!
You truly cannot beat the location either, two blocks up from Grand Central Station and just a few blocks away from all the madness of 5th Ave and Times Square, etc. Everything was in walking distance, it was perfect.
So why not 5 stars? because of the parking. I know, I know, it's Manhattan. But it's just so inconvenient to have to park a couple blocks away and to have to pay extra to park your car. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and left on a Sunday morning and we paid $56.00 (a discounted rate for staying at Club Quarters). Not bad, but there is a lovely new scratch on my driver side mirror that I'm not wild about.. so I'm a little weary about parking there again (with a newer car, at least).
Otherwise, I would absolutely recommend and I would absolutely stay here again.

First stay for me at a Club Quarters. I have no complaints. The check-in area is just one desk, so I could imagine a busy night could be a pain to wait in line, but I was the only one checking in, so I was taken care of immediately. They do have self-service kiosks for checking in as well, which I would have utilized if there were a line, but I didn't need to.
The amenities are way friendlier than I normally expect at a hotel. Free purified water stations on every floor (with free bottles), ice machines that make that coveted pellet ice (I wish I had one at home) to bring back to your room, free and fast wifi with no login required, and a wonderful 27th floor lounge with a view. Plus, even though there is a restaurant in the hotel, they offer delivery options from nearby restaurants which you can place with the front desk and the delivery charge is only $2.50, which seems amazing to me considering that you typically pay that much for a pizza delivery charge from a chain.
My room was clean to begin with, and clean again when I returned from a day of meetings. Good TV options, though the weather interrupted my TV signal because they have satellite TV. Not their fault - that is just what you deal with with DirecTV in general.
Overall, a great stay in a great location! My only recommendation would be down pillows. The pillows they have are OK, but I am used to getting pampered at a 4* hotel with nice down pillows (and that is what I have at home). I would happily return to this property in NYC, though. A great stay overall.

Check in was a breeze. Staff very friendly. The wifi was instant. No password required. Strong connection. iPad charging station in room. Very tech friendly. Bathroom was my favorite. Modern. Clean. Hand held Shower nozzle, shaving and magnified makeup mirrors. The room was cute. Very small but clean and modern. I'll take small over dirty and dated any day. They also have a common room upstairs for guests with espresso machine , TV, computers, terrace etc.
We stayed for two nights. They had a microwave and coffee maker In room. Complimentary filtered Water on each floor.
Cons: no lock box/ safe in room or mini frig.

Great hotel! It's in a great spot, super clean, and a good size room if you're only using it for sleeping/showering. The staff was so helpful when we had any questions about directions or suggestions for restaurants. The roof is great to eat a meal and watch the city below. They also have coffee and internet access for free. Wifi and printers. The water bottles on each floor was such a timesaver and money saver for us. The price of the hotel was great compared to other places and it was perfect for a quick weekend. We will definitely come back!!

The Club Quarters Grand Central is a trendy hotel situated in close proximity from the Grand Central Terminal Station. Location is excellent, walking distance from all major trains including uptown/downtown 4-5-6 trains (including express trains) at Grand Central. Check-in was quite odd as it was situated on the 2nd floor. Although there were a few things that could have been improved, my four day - three night stay here was overall an excellent stay. I would rate this hotel an 8.5 on a scale from 1 - 10, 10 being the best possible experience where I would be fully satisfied.
You can get checked in at the lobby of the hotel in the 1st floor, with the entrance being on 45th St. Throughout my stay, I would exit and enter the hotel from the 1st floor lobby on 45th St where the front desk staff were very attentive and pleasant.
Upon arrival/check-in, the room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff came daily upon my request, and I was very pleased. The problem I noticed in my specific room was that the ethernet port/drop was not working which I preferred using over wi-fi. The wi-fi signal from my room was reasonably good, but as I was in a corner room, this was completely understandable. Wi-Fi is fast, and offered for free with no network password. The second thing was that the front staff claimed that since my room included a kitchenette, utensils would be included in the cabinet. However, there were no utensils in the room, but the staff promptly brought up a setting for me to eat my dinner. The other issue that I became aware of was that the AC in the room was humming loudly since the metal grill was uneven and vibrating. I brought it up with the hotel's engineer when I bumped into him at the elevator, but the problem was not resolved by the end of my visit. I mitigated the problem by placing a weighted item on top of the grill to keep it from vibrating and making noise.
I was very pleased with the amenities offered at this hotel. There are snacks, fruits, and coffee placed in the club living room situated on the 27th floor of the hotel. There is plenty of room to sit, many outlets to plug in your laptop, two iMac stations for web browsing, and a printer provided to print important documents/boarding passes/etc. There is also an outdoor patio which faces west of the hotel. From the 27th floor, you can see the Chrysler Building to the south of the hotel, Grand Central Terminal to the west end, and up Lexington Avenue.
Other amenities that I really enjoyed were that there purified water stations on every floor, self-serve laundry on the 3rd floor, a laundry room, and a closet on every floor if you need extra K-Cups, an iron, iron board, sugar, etc.
This hotel really excels in the aspect that they focus on providing excellent service and hospitality to their guests. Service is always absolutely fantastic and everything the staff does is for the purpose of helping guests feel comfortable. Since I had an evening flight and I had to check out by 12 PM, the hotel gladly offered to hold my luggage while I spent a few hours doing whatever I wanted to without having to carry around all my luggage.
Also, if you are staying here, be sure to check out Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and you will feel an absolute sense of welcomeness from the staff. The service was exceptional, staff was very attentive, and our drinks were constantly being refilled. Service stands out here at Davio's, and the restaurant and the hotel compliment each other very well. If you are staying at the hotel, you can get 15% off your bill.

The people working the front desk were nice & friendly. Booked this hotel last minute for NYE plans in the city. It's the smallest hotel room I've ever been to, considering its in the city, but it was very cute and nicely designed. The price was OKAY considering we booked last minute and it is in the city.

The Club Quarters gave my wife and me a good last-minute deal, and let us stay late after checking out while we figured out some travel plans.
The room was clean, service was friendly, and the 27th floor meeting area was really nice: free coffee, printing, and lots of space. The only thing they lack is a large gym - it's a bit cramped in there with more than two people.
I'll be checking this place out first the next time I'm in the city!

The Club Quarters Grand Central is now the Hotel Boutique at Grand Central although it looks like a Club Quarters and a lot of the Club Quarters signage was still there. Regardless of what the hotel is called, I had a positive experience.
My mom and I arrived around 3:30pm and were able to check in immediately. The lobby was very tiny but the staff was friendly and courteous, helping us through the computer automated check in process.
We had opted for the smallest room since we just needed a bed to crash in and a shower in the morning. It was a small room but it was set up nicely. We didn't feel like we were walking into the walls or tripping over each other.
My biggest take away from my experience was that the room was clean. It was recently renovated so the bathroom was fairly modern. The bathroom was stocked with the basics toiletries. There was also a decent sized flat screen TV on the wall and a Keurig for our coffee needs. There was also a free standing closet with enough storage room for us to share.
The bed was comfy and we were able to control the temperature in the room to our liking.
The purified water and water bottles in the hallway was a nice extra.
After checking out at noon the next day, they were also conveniently able to store our luggage so we didn't have to drag it around with us all day.
In terms of location, it was right by Grand Central so it really put NYC at your finger tips. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, no frills, reasonably priced hotel.

What a cute little boutique hotel chain! Yes the rooms are small but they are so darn cute! I love the decor of the rooms- warm and modern. The beds are super comfy and they have black out curtains so you can get our snooze on. Just a warning though...HANG YOUR PRIVACY TAG UP when you are in the room. That's all I'm gonna say if you catch my drift.
This hotel has nice little touches everywhere...my favorite being the chilled purified water bottle stations they have on every floor. They provide you with water bottles to fill up so you can hydrate during your stay. The location of this hotel is amazing. Right by grand central station with easy access to the 4,5,6,7&S. Not to mention the vast options of stores and restaurants in the area. You will not be disappointed staying at this cute place!

This is where my company puts up pilots on NY overnights. Out of all the hotels we've stayed in throughout the city, this is my favorite so far. The rooms are fair sized for NY, but modern and comfortable with a wrap around booth/table with plenty of wall plugs near the bed and embedded in the table side for all your charging pleasure.
K-Cup coffee pots and the 27th floor has a cappuccino/latte machine with snacks (peanuts, sunflower seeds, M&Ms, Chex Mix, and wasabi peas), apples, etc. The fridge is filled with soda there as well.
The views aren't great, but the main thing I love is the LOCATION. You're a block away from Grand Central Station! I can take any train I want from there to any where within or out of the state! I can walk to Bryant Park in 5 minutes or Central Park in about 15.

Booked our room at a great rate, especially by NYC standards, and couldn't be more happy with our stay. Great location, great hotel, nice touches with the amenities, especially the 27th floor Club Room, and the fresh water dispensers on each floor. Check-in and checkout was extremely quick. The room was sized as expected and everything appeared relatively new. The fitness room was solid and the guest laundry room was also a nice touch. They even have a great partnership with the parking garage down the street that gives the customer an awesome rate. I will definitely stay here again.
