We had a problem with our original hotel on a family vacation to New York.  On the ride into the city from JFK, we decided to give the Trump SoHo a try.  Wow.  We've got 6 and 4 year old boys, so kid friendly is important.  From the moment we got into the lobby, we felt well taken care of.  Danielle at the front desk sent up kids bags for the boys.  Our room was incredible, with views of the Empire State Building and a line of sight right up 6th Avenue to Central Park.  The suite we stayed in had a really nice modern feel without being weird.  At one point, my 4 year old managed to bump into a window (he was fine)...  Suddenly, we were surrounded by helpful staff... Someone produced an ice bag.  Apple and orange juice appeared for both kids... And later when we got back from dinner, cookies / milk / fruit came to the room with a personal note from the manager Adrian hoping my son was OK.  Finally, the location is great... right in the heart of Soho... if you want to be downtown, there's no reason to stay anywhere else...

Went here with my husband to celebrate his birthday.  I have to say that we usually stay in hotels in the upper east side but I figured we would mix it up a little bit and stay in soho.  At first I wasn't sure about the location of this hotel but it is within walking distance to the subway and really not too far a walk to soho.   When we checked in we were giving the upgrade that we paid for when booking the reservation.  The only problem is they gave us a handicap room and that just turns me right off.  I will save that for when I need it, but for now I don't so please don't put me in a handicap room. Besides all of that when we did get into our room it was a junior suite and it was very roomy.  They did a great job decorating the rooms too.  One of my favorite things was the Nespresso coffee machine.  It was so great that I went to the store and bought one.  This machine makes the best espresso and cappuccinos.  The service at this hotel is great.  They have a car service that will take you where you want to go if it is not being used.   They really thought of everything when building this place.  Leave it to Trump!

We celebrated our wedding at the Trump Soho and it was the best decision we ever made! The events team was incredible, on top of every detail and really nice throughout the entire (very stressful) planning process. The communication was excellent, Leonardo, Nora and Barbara were delightful to work with! The day of was PERFECT in every way, I stayed at the hotel the night before so I could get ready without having to schlep everything on the day of. The room was amazing, very spacious, contemporary spotless and full of very nice details. I left the room for a quick walk in the morning and when I returned there was a plate of berries and champagne waiting for me with a sweet note from Nora (our in house event coordinator). The groom got a room for the day to get ready and the same was awaiting for him when he checked in. The event spaces are beautiful and the whole staff was great. If you want a hassle free event, that's the place to go. Beautiful views, beautiful rooms, great and helpful staff! LOVE IT!

I go to NY often and have never been more comfortable at a hotel. I just returned from a 9 night stay. Not only is the staff amazing but the rooms are the best in town. They are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Unlike other modern hotels in NY, the rooms are much bigger and the room service food is quite good. The gym is large and has a great view of the nearby buildings and the pool. I've stayed at this hotel 3 times and will stay there again.

Went to the spa due to a gilt group promo that I bought. The spa looks like the shining and my service was shorted by 15 minutes. Will not be back. This place is a joke.

This place was AMAZING!  I have stayed at a number of great properties but this was the quintessential New York Hotel.  Great Location to 2 Subway station. Right in the Middle of SoHo and Greenwich Village.  Lots of places to go and try out.  We had 3 Kids with us and they were exceptionally accommodating.  The Service was to die for.  Concierge was very helpful. (One recommendation was so so) Would love to stay there again.

I just stayed at this property after staying at Trump in Chicaog so it felt like I had a unique compare/contrast pov.  Bottom line is that I preferred the Chicago property.  Both have great service but the TV's which are embedded in the bathroom mirrors in CHI are just awesome.  In NYC, the sink wouldn't drain, the hot water was scalding hot (i mean, super hot) and to drain it, you had to reach through the water (now most likely filled with beard shavings) to push on the release button.  The espresso machine was broken, and both the gym and roof deck were not yet opened.  Also ate at the restaurant but that's in another review.

We were very impressed with this hotel. From the moment you arrive, you know your some place special. The decor is modern and functional. The service was impeccable. Me and my husband flew in for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and were upgrades to the 33rd floor . They had room service send up a complimentary bottle of champagne as well. The restaurant Quattro is also fabulous. We arrived there late sat night bout 11:30 from a night on the town,,we were craving carpacio, and he made it happen, even though the kitchen was pretty much closed. Very service oriented, very impressed!

OHHHH, so SOMEONE DOES GET it! Hotels are in the hospitality business and let me tell you, this is a very well designed and HOSPITABLE hotel. Every single worker was so nice, TOO NICE (is that possible?) from the tour of the suite to the doorman,to pool staff. Although they are nice to everyone, it seemed genuine and not the kind of nice where they are just waiting for their tip. I would love to stay here again (for a stay-cation) before the end of summer just so I can experience it all again. The suite had two bathrooms, one with a tub facing a window looking out onto the city. There was an expresso machine, microwave, tv in bathroom, huge bathroom (yes, i love bathrooms), huge comfy beds..etc...etc. stay. here. stay here.

Out of 8 years of various travels and hotels, this is by far the best one I've ever stayed in.  The service was outstanding, the room ultra comfortable, and the room service/hotel resturaunt were phenomenal.

Employees went above and beyond ensuring our stay was outstanding.  Whether it was grabbng us a cab, hooking us up with the hotel car when a cab was unavailable, or just giving directions, everything was top notch.

The only criticism I have was the lack of proper door for the toilet and the TV easily rectified that.  All in all, I would highly recommend the hotel to any visitor to New York, you won't regret it.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be! From our reception by the Doormen until the time of our checkout, the staff was first-class. Our one bedroom suite was very comfortable and spacious. The modern decor was fresh and typified the spirit or vibe that the hotel was trying, and did in fact achieve. You will not be disappointed by a stay here at a price that is literally hundreds of dollars more uptown for accommodations not as nearly as nice.

The rooms are amazing...dreamy bed, luxurious bath bath complete with sunken tub and double sinks, awesome views. Also, staff catered to every need. The housekeeper even knew when to bring ice and prep the room for the evening. Overall, Trump Soho is one of my favorite places to stay becuase overall the hotel provides for your everyneed, which isn't typical for  other boutique hotels downtown. The only thing that needed improvment was Quatrro, the in-house restaurant.

Absolutely stunning hotel. We checked in and were exhausted so we took a nap before roaming the streets. Then we went out and came back about two hours later and our bed was made again. Their customer service is flawless and everyone is so friendly. I'd absolutely recommend the Trump..it's worth the price you pay. Their hotel restaurant is beautiful and their library is nice to lounge around and converse.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Okay, so Trump Soho has some rooms within the hotel called "Jet Luxury" these rooms are slightly smaller and VERY affordable. We were shocked at how amazing the service was and how beautiful the rooms were. The concierge let us borrow the hotel's cuff links as we misplaced them, room service was fantastic and the doormen were the best. Housekeeping even brought me a magnified mirror for makeup as we requested another mirror in the room to get ready. It is in a great location and starbucks is right across the street. Kudos Trump Soho. Keep doing what you are doing!!!

I started driving to NYC with the intention of staying somewhere else. Fortunately my client worked at this hotel and she reserved me an amazing room at the last minute. Hands down the service, room, amenities and location make this one of the best places to stay in NYC Soho. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back.

Stayed here the last two Saturday nights with my friend who was working in town...I thought I would hate the soft bed and the super squishy pillows but I got a great night's sleep there. Nice, spacious rooms. The room service menu could be more imaginative but we did enjoy all of the food that we ordered. Starbuck's across the street - important to me. I'd stay here again for sure.

Very nice hotel. One bedroom suite is huge with a great marble bathroom that has a separate tub and shower both looking at a flat screen TV. Floor to ceiling windows provided a killer view across the Hudson to NJ and uptown toward the Empire State Building. Service was very friendly and attentive from the front desk to the door man. Forty five floors lead to a relatively small lobby via crowded elevators. Only complaint is the location is right at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel creating lots of traffic and the 21st floor room was still too close the blaring horns that persisted most of the night.

Just returned from a three nite stay at the new Trump Soho. I would give this a 4.5 star because the pool is not open yet, but we knew that going in so I will defer to 5 star because the rest of the stay was great.
We arrived around 3pm and checked in immediately to a beautiful king suite on the 12th floor. We had hoped for a higher floor, but none where available and we wanted to hit the city asap. View was good , must be spectacular on the upper floors.
The service and all of the staff were outstanding. Eric at the concierge desk did a great job at getting us great theater tickets with just a couple of days notice. We use the courtesy sedan for a couple of short trips around town.
The bed was very comfortable, turn-down and housekeeping was on time and flawless.
We had room service one morning and the food while pricey was on time and prepared nicely.
When asked at check-in the reason for our visit, I explained it was combo business and pleasure . The pleasure was to celebrate our late July birthdays. A bottle of complementary champagne was sent to the room, a very nice touch.
The room had a great roomy bathroom with a soaking tub, two sinks and a rain shower.
The sitting area had a wet bar and a well stocked mini bar which we partially emptied and filled with soda from around the corner.
The single remote control for the lights, drapes, thermostat and TV worked great.
The thing I noticed was that due to the materials used, the room was starting to see some chips and cracks on some of the surfaces. The hotel will need to keep up on these to keep the rooms fresh.
Will I say here again ? Yes, its a very nice property in a great location.

We stayed overnight the weekend before Valentine's Day and loved the place.  The decor is modern, but warm. The beds are sooo incredibly comfortable we didnt want to leave the room. The bathrooms are beautiful with a giant soaking tub that could fit a circus in it. We arrived early (11 a.m. instead of 3p.m.) and they not only gave us a room, but they also gave us an upgrade!!  This place is tops on our list, and from now on when we go back to the city, this is the place we will stay.

I would say this hotel exceeded out expectations, and they were set pretty high to begin with. The bellman overheard that it was my girlfriends birthday and had a special gift delivered while we were out. They went a I've and beyond in every way. The rooms were very nice and it was a nice touch to have "push button" blinds that opened to a great view. The bathroom even had a flatscreen. You can even control the lighting, room service, and blinds from the TV. Oh, andyhe SoHo shopping was pretty cool too.!

This is my third stay in the past few months and I have to say the only disappointing thing (and it is a small one, given the neighborhood), is the quality of the food at the restaurant.  For that I might have given a 1/2 star penalty.

Everyone is very nice, the rooms are large by NY standards, beds are clean and room is very comfortable.  All controls are available from the TV for the truly lazy.

The pool bar is expensive, but service is good, food is not bad there and the environment is great.  The first time I stayed, I brought a friend up for a drink and she ended up having a party there for her birthday.

The service here is much more of the level I usually get in hotels in Asia, certainly much better than I usually get in NY--at every level, from the bellmen to the desk clerks to the food delivery people.

Nice, modern rooms that are cozy and offer great views.  Still have a few bugs to work out, but the place is quite posh.  SoHi is a great spot to host parties, with 270-degree views of east, south and west lower Manhattan.

Of the hotels that my wife and I have stayed, this may well be the best.  Exceptional service, an incredibly high quality room, and a great location. Admittedly, the tab was paid by my wife's work, so we can't compare it to an experience in which we were forking out the expense ourselves. But, on an expense account, I would definitely go back.

Great experience at Trump SoHo, granted I was not paying for it, so not sure how much one has to pay for having 3 phones in the room (one of which is in the restroom) two flat screen TVs (one of which is also in the restroom), curtains that retract at the click of a button, microwave, & iPod docking station. This will sound totally weird, but I spent most of my time in the restroom :) I couldn't resist - the shower & bathtub were created for complete relaxation.

Now on to the minute, but not so nice details: I spent 10 minutes looking for an iron (i know, who needs that anymore) but I was running late for work. I finally gave up, called the front desk, to be told that there isn't one in the room. Come on now Trump, you have a microwave in the room, but no iron?? Anywho, they did make up for it by bringing me one (a few minutes later than I hoped for). Secondly, I had to pay for using the internet ($15 per day). Not too excited to dish out money to be connected to the internet, but then again, it is NY. Finally, they advertise they have a pool, which surprise surprise doesn't open until 2011.

Overall though, thank you Mr. Trump!

When I first walked into the Trump Soho, I knew it was going to be a lovely experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the complimentary champagne offering as I checked in. How can I say "no" to that. After we settled in to our beautiful room, with an amazing view of the Hudson, we toured the amenities and I must say, I was impressed. This hotel didn't leave out any detail, everything from the room and hotel lobby decor, to the restaurant and lounge's offering, everything was exquisite and well thought out. I had a phenomenal stay and the staff was extermely hospitable and accomodating. Additioanlly, it was very well located. I would definitely stay here again!

I just came back from a facial at the Trump's spa, oh.... it was absolutely amazing.  The cosmetologist (nice European lady, Marina) was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and didn't push the products as most of the spas do.  The facility is very clean and nice, a true oasis in the middle of Manhattan.  I'll definitely go back.

Stayed here last weekend with my girlfriend as a gift from my parents for graduation, and was graciously upgraded by the front desk into a corner One-bedroom suite!  The room was sleek and modern and the view was the best I have ever seen.  The soaking tub and rainfall showerhead made getting ready for dinner a pleasure and the bed was easily the most comfortable I have ever slept on.  Only minor hiccup was the bathrobe I immediately dawned once we arrived was stained from a previous guest and looked like it hadn't yet been washed.  But other than that it was truly an incredible weekend at the Trump Soho.

Overall, a solid five star property.  Location is good, but its several blocks west of what most think of as SoHo.  That said, there are some nice renovations being done in that area and I expect it will continue to improve.  Note that many floors in the building are owner occupied.

Rooms are quite comfortable, with fantastic views in almost every direction.  My only beef with the rooms was the lighting.  The bathroom was a particular annoyance - mirror light only on one side.  Made shaving my right side a bit of a chore (right cheek toward mirror, eyes staring into light, unable to actually see my right cheek!).  Drinks at both the restaurant and their lounge were quite well done and the wine list is small but interesting.  We did not eat on the property.  What was beyond 5 stars was the service.  Check in, concierge, housekeeping, everyone, was exceptional.   Will try this again on a future visit

I just got back from NYC a few weeks ago and forgot to leave a review. First off, Trump deserves some serious credit on his great taste in decor and service. Every bellhop, maid, concierge went above and beyond for us. I don't think I have ever been so well taken care of. The Trump Soho should get the highest honors from Travel+ Leisure.
Anyway, so one night I accidentally spilled water in the bathroom....ok a lot of water. I called the room service and asked for 8 towels. I needed more. I called again and asked for 9 more towels. Every time I called they would respond promptly within 2 minutes. It was amazing.
Now, let's talk about heaven. Heaven is in a Trump bed. My boyfriend and I would delay our day just to lay in bed an extra hour...or three. It's something to experience...I would even go as far as putting it on your bucket list. We fell in love with this bed so much we bought one after our last stay.
If you want an amazing comfortable experience forget about the rest and stay with the best.

This is to review their spa.

It is over the top and whoever wants to treat yourself with uber posh and complete relaxation, you should come here.

Upon entrance, the white chandelier greeted you with the graceful background.  After the reception the calming dark hallway led to the changing lounge.  It was equipped with warm Toto washlets, Kohl's high end shower system and the digital locks.  The second I received the plush, thick and heavy robe, I knew it was going to be fantastic.

I was taken to meet my masseur.  Lying on the heated massage table with high thread count linen, I was invited to smell lavender and chamomile essential oil.  Then she started the calming sapphire signature treatment.  She slathered the oil gently on my back, stoking, stretching, pressing, rubbing.  I tried not to but still fell asleep in the middle.  She was doing very slowly and you could feel like being very carefully taken care of.

After the treatment, the steam shower room and relaxation lounge await.  The steam room was covered by white mosaic glass tiles and it made you feel surreal. Six contoured lounge chair welcomed me with four different freshly brewed herbal teas.  Bathing under the curtained sunshine, I could not imagine a better way to reward myself.

Being a busy mother of two girls, this half day luxury escape is ultra precious.  Staff are friendly and the environment is gorgeous.  Trump Soho Spa is over the top indulgence.

Same rating - just wanted to note that I don't think the hotel is anti-green. I was trying to be liberal with me literary license that the place feels that lux.

So David C, just to clarify, I'm not ragging on the hotel's relatinoship with the environment. I just thought that it was using a lot of power with the automatic music playing in my room upon my arrival etc.

All - it's a very nice hotel. Sorry if anyone was confused about my review :)

I'm not normally a complainer, BUT...
1. Our check-in took 45 min. (Longer than it took us to get from airport to hotel)
2. One doorman showed us the house-car that could be at our disposal - so we asked him to reserve it for 6:15 for us. He said that he'd be there all evening and he'd reserve the car. We get down there at 6:15 - no car - and no said doorman.
3. Two mornings, our room service breakfast was wrong. AND VERY PRICY!
4. I emailed the spa (because their website says you can and they'll get back to you) a week before our stay to see if a particular time would work for services. I never got a reply. So I had to call. They set up our couples massage for 10am.  We were in their relaxation room waiting - and finally at 10:10, I had to go find someone and ask if they forgot about us. (We were on a schedule and needed our spa appt to be on time.)
5. Etc, etc, etc... Little things just kept adding up.

We've stayed in Trump Chicago - and have loved it...that's why we chose Trump for our first time visit to NYC.  We really wish we could have a do-over and take ALL THE MONEY we spent at Trump SoHo and put it toward another high-end hotel in Manhattan. Next time...

If you are going to go all out and stay in the lap of luxury Trump SoHo is the way to do it. I got a spa suite for my friend's birthday and we couldn't be more pleased. Sure it's Soho and it's Trump so things are a pricey, but the staff couldn't have been more attentive.

Upon arriving, when we told the Bellman my friend's story about how he got perfect attendance all 4 years of high school in NY, because he was under the impression the reward was that Donald Trump would give you a suite to have a room party in, and how it turned out to be false, and what he got was a cheap calculator, our bellman sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne.

The suite that we got was the spa suite. There was a spacious living room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, in my entire life. There were controls for every window and light located everywhere, even remotes that would also control the same thing so you never had to get out of bed. The best thing is that the spa suite a dry sauna room, and on top of that the bathtub is deep and has jets. This particular room also comes with a $200 room credit that you can use at the spa.

Oh! And if you are here to shop there is a complimentary hotel car service that can be served. It doesn't go that far, but it will take you around Soho so you don't have to get a cab.

Best hotel experience ever.

I lived in nyc for ten years and am familiar with many of the hotels, and have long been on a quest for the perfect place to stay below 23rd street. This is it.

Luxurious, comfortable, excellent service and amenities. Very comfy bed and remarkably quiet.

We stayed on the 36th floor with our 7 month old baby and the views were incredible, especially from the nice deep bath tub.

It was so exciting to watch 'the city move' from up above. It is rare to get such a view from downtown, and because most of the buildings are low, you can see a whole lot...people strolling, cabs stopping and going, 6th avenue lit up like Christmas lights at night.

The library has an excellent architecture and design collection...definitely worth checking out if that is your thing. We didn't take advantage of the pool/s since we were there in March.

Will definitely revisit.

Okay I really want to give this hotel 5 stars and probably should, the only reason I am not is because I have only stayed at a couple hotels in New York.  VERY IMPRESSED with Trump SOHO.  Not the typical Trump gold and ostentatious aura.  Very slick, modern and very customer focused from the minute you get in.

Location is fantastic if you are wanting to be in Soho, Tribeca, West Village area, Shopping and food everywhere.

We got in a 12 and the front desk was cheerful, offered us water knowing we just came from the airport.  The hotel offers a Italian restaurant and night bar.  Actually the Kastel seems to be quite popular into the wee hours of the night.

Room:  We had the fairly standard King room, which I thought was quite large at 426 sq ft.  The bathroom was as large as the room is a cool grey and white finish with dual sink and huge sunken tub.  Everything is personalized, TV says welcome, the phone in the bathroom as your name.  In fact the technology is bar none,  multi jacks and plugs for computers and cell chargers.  Iphone/pod Ihome charger,  TV in the bathroom and master control panel on the wall as well as the TV for the light and curtains.

Minbar has the new nespresso espresso machine, microwave, minibar and sink.

Turn down service and all night room service.  In fact the BED IS THE BEST, I can't even describe how soft it is.  It makes the heavenly beds look like a board.  I could have stayed in the bed for the entire trip.

My only grip is on Friday night we had a really hard time getting a cab, since it is a little off the beaten path all the cabs were full and everyone was wanting a cab since it has been in the low teens.  However, outside of this there was always cabs.

I will for sure be back, in fact I am not sure I would even look for another hotel.  Great staff, great food, top notch Spa and great location.

Had an amazing stay here! Great soho location, and beautiful sleek, modern architecture and decor. And it's great when you're walking back to your hotel slightly lost, because it's the only tall building in the neighborhood. Oh! And the beds are incredibly, amazingly comfortable - and perfect for a great night of sleep after a long day/night in the city.
Everyone working at hotel was very kind and helpful.
My only complaint is that our room did not have an actual door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, which was a little awkward at times but we worked with it.

There is simply no other place I've found in New York, or any other hotel I've stayed at in the world,  that compares to this hotel (and I've stayed at lots of high end hotels in New York and elsewhere).  When we stayed, the hotel had amazingly only been open 5 weeks.

Yes the rooms are incredible, the amenities are incredible but what really sets this place apart is the customer service.  In my travels I have never seen a more consistent theme of professionalism and customer-centric focus then I've seen here, from the housekeeping to the bellman, to the front desk.  I simply do not know how they do it.  You absolutely feel like the most important guest in the entire hotel.

Customer service aside, the rooms are amazing, with incredible views and great amenities such as a complimentary Espresso machine.  The building is brand new, and you can tell Mr. Trump did not spare a dime when it came to the quality of construction  and attention to every detail.

When we come to New York , this will be our place.  There simply is no better choice in Manhattan.

Well done Mr. Trump!

After registering a complaint about our experience at the front desk upon departure, I received an email from Daniel Ng, Director of Front Office. I sent him the below response.  Most troublesome now is that I received no reponse from Mr. Ng.   I took the time to provide feedback, but they don't prioritize guest service enough to respond.  Travelers to NYC have many, many luxury level hotel choices.  Trump Soho should not be one of them.

Good Day Daniel,

Thank you for inquiring about our experience.  As you are aware, there are great expectations for accommodation and service when one visits a Trump property.  We visit New York every year about the same time.  In recent years, we have stayed at the Trump Towers Hotel adjacent to Central Park and have received exemplary service there.  We decided this year to experience Trump Soho so we would be closer to southern Manhattan restaurants and shops.  Unfortunately, we found it difficult to compare the two.

Below are some comments for your consideration:

While the Soho property theme seems to be more stylish than the Trump Tower's elegance, the staff attitudes at both are consistently attentive.  Kudos to your staff.
While we usually select a one-bedroom suite, we elected this time to select a Premiere King.  "Miniature" might be a good description; small room space, small bathroom, small shower, single sink, and half sized closets, that didn't allow for anything longer than a shirt.
No morning newspaper delivery (until we had to ask for it), despite other rooms on the floor receiving them
Slow draining sink that we had to point out to engineering twice and still was not repaired.  One engineer, after attempting to fix it, merely said it was ok and that they operate that way.
Air conditioning breakdown, that engineering explained as a 'blockage" in the system
One bar of soap for the room
Food on the floor of the restaurant.  We watched as staff stepped carefully over the spilled strawberries from the buffet, with not one who was willing to pick it up.
No offer of coffee or juice refills.  Had to ask.
Elevator line back-ups, despite there being four of them, weaving out into the lobby.  It became an engineering challenge to exit the elevators at the lobby, having to navigate through the sea of people waiting on line to travel up to their rooms

These might seem to be trite examples however the Guest Experience is everything at a Trump property.   You're in a difficult business in a tough economy.  High-end accommodation choices in a city like New York are abundant, and so you are challenged to distinguish yourself each and every day.  While your staff is friendly and accommodating, training in attention to detail might be appropriate.  The challenge of a small room, with small attributes; and long elevator lines might be more of a building design and engineering problem, I'm sure you can think of ways to mitigate these for Guest comfort.

Thank you for you time.

* complimentary champagne in the lobby for happy hour
* extremely comfortable bed
* excellent location and within walking distance of everything in soho
* door man that open your doors
* gym with TV or music option on machines and complimentary bottled water

Those are all some of my thoughts on Trump-Soho.  LOVE IT!

Great hotel, definitely on a par with the Park Hyatts Tokyo & Paris. A luxury hotel rather than a party hotel which shockingly now as I get a little older I really prefer. Top notch service from everyone starting with the doormen & bell hops to concierge & housekeeping. The bed is slightly firmer than a cloud, made with high thread count cotton, pillowed to perfection & dressed with a baby blue cashmere throw that I have been wrapping myself in from tip to toe every single night (and during daily naps). Room service is expensive & limited (meh).  Great location for shopping. Personally, I prefer to be a little farther north, but this is a quiet corner in Soho out of the fray.  They could be a little more generous with the sundries, I had to ask to have them refurbished during a four day stay.

Totally amusing story: bell hop in elevator with a bag (one bag, a tote bag not on wheels and the assumption is with a tote bag that someone's going to tote it) the size of a mini-Cooper. I say, "A tote bag that size should be illegal." He says, "It belongs to a very famous woman." My first thought is how famous is very famous? There are certainly levels of fame. Oprah? Is Oprah the most famous person? Or Madonna? Is the woman Madonna famous? Is Madonna more famous than Oprah? Or are we talking Kelly Ripa famous? Like medium level morning show fame? Alex Guarnashelli, chef famous? Whatever level of purgatorial fame this bish is she's famous enough to think someone else should be carrying around a tote bag bigger than my dresser for her instead of behaving like a normal human and having two more manageable sized suitcases. What.a.ho.

My fiance decided to go out with a bang by booking us our last night in NYC at the newly opened Trump hotel.  The hotel had only been opened for 3 weeks when we stayed here.  It is only a few blocks away from all the great shopping in the SoHo area.

The staff was extremely courteous.  The concierge who checked us in kindly upgraded us to a suite.  The bellman who brought up our bags gave us a tour of the suite and how everything worked.  Later on in the day a concierge representative called our room to ask us how are stay was progressing.  They really understand the concept of customer service here.

There is only a dozen of rooms on each floor which makes for a nice quiet stay.  Everything in the room is high tech from the blinds to the televisions even the phones.  The decor of the suite was something I would want for my home if I had the money to plunk down.  And the view from our suite was stupendous.  My fiance took a slew of photos of the view and even recorded the sunset.

The only real quip I had with the suite was the bathtub was busted.  I was all ready to get my soak on but when I turned the water nozzles nothing came out.  So I resorted to the shower and it totally made up for it.  One of the best showers I have ever had.

The Trump Soho NY was one of the best hotel stays I ever had even if it was only for one night.  Can you imagine how much more awesome it would be with a multiple night stay.

This was the nicest hotel I have ever, and probably will ever, stay at.

The service is absolutely excellent.  The room itself was wonderful and spacious and the bed was absolutely heavenly.

I loved the spacious bathroom and the separate tub was great.  Only got to use it once, but very much worth it.

I've heard that hotels are just a place to sleep, but to me they're part of the whole experience and this definitely was an EXCELLENT experience.

We ordered room service the first night (my first time ever!) and it was amazing.  Our second night there we were trying to get a cab to take us to the theater, and when one wasn't available the hotel set us up with their house car.  How can the service be more amazing?

The only thing that seemed odd to me is the lack of door in the  bathroom.  That was slightly off-putting.

That said I'd definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it.  If I ever make it back to New York City I'd love to stay here again.

List of fabulous things:
* Sleek and Modern, yet incredibly warm
* Rooms are spacious with gorgeous views
* Extremely comfortable beds
* Beautiful bathrooms
* Great concierge service
* Amazing Door Men
* Amazing Bell Men
* Fun Pool

My partner and I have been going to this hotel once a month for the past year.  They have always been outstanding until the last couple of visits.  I had a couple of problems which can happen for any number of reasons. The thing I was most impressed by, was how the management handled it. Namely Galit.  She was very attentive, met with me in person and sorted everything out.

We will most certainly continue our loyal patronage of this fantastic hotel.

Well done Trumps, well done.

I stayed here on the night of my 40th birthday and it was MAGIC.  I am not a person who stays at really high end hotels-- a humble school teacher am I-- but I wanted to do something special.

I got there feeling like a little church mouse, but the lady at the desk- Raquel-- made me feel right at home and even sent up champagne and chocolates to welcome me.

The room was GORGEOUS. The view AMAZING. The bathtub was so deep it took about thirty minutes to fill.

It was a wonderful stay. I highly highly recommend!

I'm used to NY hotel rooms being small compared to other cities, especially compared to the extravagant suites in Vegas, but my room at the Trump SoHo (Room 2011) was absolutely fabulous!  Not only was it spacious, but the decor was perfectly modern and sophisticated, yet warm and inviting.  The bed (and bedding) was SO comfortable, and since I'm used to sleeping in a queen bed, it was such a treat to lounge around in a king size bed...heaven!!

I loved everything about the room, especially the bathroom!! It is like THE bathroom of my dreams: huge sunken tub (although I never got to use it), rain showerhead, TV in the bathroom, and the plush robes.  I literally never took the robe and slippers off after I put them on...even more comfty than being in PJs.  The only downside I noticed in the bathroom was that the toilet is so large that it echos (take that how you will).

The personalized customer service was like none other.  We called ahead to ask if it would be possible to get a blender delivered to our room before we checked in, and they said it would be no problem.  Sure enough, we had a blender waiting at the wet bar, and to our surprise, it looked like it was brand new and had never been used (the cord was still wrapped in its original packaging)!

There's also a huge selection of new release movies, so you won't have a problem finding something to entertain you for the night.  From the late-night room-service menu, my friends and I ordered the burger (this was ok) and the lasagna (the melted cheese was way too hard by the time it arrived so I barely touched the lasagna...what a waste of $24).  Finally, there's a Starbucks located right across the street from the entrance, so it's super convenient to grab your morning coffee after you check out and walk out.

All in all, the Trump SoHo Hotel totally kicked the W Hotel's butt in every way (W Hotel was SO small and cramped...everything felt miniature and there was hardly any space in the rooms to put your bags).  I just wish I'm lucky enough to get to stay here again soon!

I stayed here one night for a work trip. This place is amazing. When I checked in I got a glass of champagne. The rooms are breathtaking- huge, big windows overlooking the city, the bathroom is as big as the room itself, sink in the room. Bed is the most comfortable bed ever. They have nice touches like a turn down service. I came home at night to the room with slippers set up next to the bed and soft music playing. Check out was at noon but I stayed until 12:30 without being rushed out.

I had breakfast in the hotels restaurant (Koi) the next morning and it was delicious. Overall this is an awesome and luxurious hotel.

bwa ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaah!

VERY funny experience tonight. So, I live in the neighborhood, and I watched this abortion go up, floor by floor. Trump "Soho" that is actually west of soho, and not anything like anything here.

Stopped here tonight for the first time. The door man said "how many?"

"3," we said.

"Well, I can only let you in if you agree to spend $50."

At this point I doubled over in laughter. The rope line was completely empty. You think the bar was any better?

"$50...per person?" I asked, laughing.

"Yes. If you aren't willing to buy 3 drinks each, i can't help you out."

$50 for 3 drinks?! EACH?!

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

"I can't help YOU out," I managed to say between guffaws.

This is a terrific hotel in a nice relatively quiet part of SoHo.  Easy walk to Spring St subway made access to midtown and beyond easy.  Several good restaurants and bars walkable as well.  Service from front desk to bell to doormen and housekeeping was great and attentive.  Bed was very comfy and the view spectacular!  Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend booked a stay for us here for our anniversary. It was supposed to only be a one-night thing, but ended up loving it so much that we ended up making it three nights! Upon arrival, the concierge informed us that the room was not yet ready, so she offered us complimentary lunch and first round of drinks at the hotel's bar upstairs. We were delighted to discover that there is also a spa and rooftop pool next to the little bar. The food was good, but a bit salty. The drinks were delightful. For a five star hotel, I would, however, expect the servers to be a bit more alluring than they were, but that's just a side note. The decor of the lobby is very modern chic and definitely classy.

The room itself was great. It gave a homey feel and the bed was the best part!!! The egyptian cotton and what i presume to be down feather bed was very comfortable. We definitely stayed in bed a little longer every morning and did not mind ending our nights a bit early knowing that we had the inviting bedroom to welcome us at. What really makes it a five star hotel is the excellent service. The whole staff called us by name whenever we called, including the housekeeping ladies. Every time we left the room, we would come back to new towels and amenities and have it in a very clean state. We especially loved the complimentary chocolate treats, the wonderful french macarons (which I would like to know where they're from), and the Nespresso machine! We definitely enjoyed our stay there and plan on going back soon!

The hotel was great, good location, very nice rooms but what the made the visit was the staff, Everyone was wonderful, especially the doormen, Great altitude and always very helpful. They would risk life and limb to hail a cab for us.
The front desk was quick and efficient, when we checked in on a Friday about 3 there were champagne and chocolate strawberries for us.
The room was a nice size with a great view of the river and NJ, nice bathroom with a huge soaking tub. My only complaint about the bathroom was the lighting at the sink mirror. There was only a light fixture on one side , gave poor effects when putting makeup on.
The restaurant on the main floor is being renovated, so for breakfast they had the second floor library/lounge opened . Good food and service but a small area, so the there was a wait sometimes.
We were there in late August and there was a very international crowd staying at the time, it made for some very fun and interesting conversations.
The Soho location made for an easy walk to a lot of shopping and dining. the subway station was one block away.
I really enjoyed my stay and would put this at the top of my list for my next NYC visit.

Robbed at the Trump Soho!

My wife and I stayed here two nights before boarding the Queen Mary 2 for Southampton. Our room was not ready when we arrived so we received a claim check for our five bags. When our room was ready, we were taken to our room but soon later realized that I was missing my computer bag. I called security and with the police we watched the security films and saw a "grab team" just take my bag because as the head of security said, they were too busy to put our bags in the secure area. Instead they kept our luggage trolley in the lobby by the window unattended.
The head of security told me on checking out that the hotel would "make me whole again." Upon returning from England, I purchased the final replacement computer and submitted my claim to a Trump's insurance company who told me that under NY state law, they can only pay up to $100.00 on my loss of $3,307.00. I called my insurance agent for my homeowner's policy and was told that if I put in a claim, my premiums will increase. I advised Trump's head of security of these facts and he said to give him a day or two to see what he could do. Ten days later, I asked for an update and he said that they would offer me a free two night stay in the future and that's it. I wouldn't stay there or any other Trump hotel. They don't follow their own protocol of protecting your luggage and then have no sense of responsibility. They make promises of making you whole but they are just empty words. Stay away from the Trump Soho if you have to leave any bags with them.

Drinks at the pool bar were great, especially the Passion de Fuego Margarita (its spicy)

From the complimentary champagne upon check-in to the turn-down service every night, this hotel is top notch.  I appreciate a hotel that pays attention to its guests, and pays attention to the details.  You have no idea what a great bed, quality sheets, good towels mean to a guest who has been running around a busy city all day.

The hotel is situated in a neighborhood area so you are walking distance to some of SoHo's best shopping, and also some great restaurants.  We were right across the street from a wine bar which was fun for happy hour our first night in.  The hotel is also very safe. They have a lot of staff in the lobby, and all guests need a key to get to any floor.

Only thing I think the hotel is missing is a loungy bar area. Instead, they have a nightclub that comes alive after 11 or so on the weekends (I think it's called Kastel?).  So when we returned from a show and dinner on Saturday night, there were some random characters sitting in the lobby with a half drunk drink in hand...just seemed like an odd thing to put in such a nice hotel.  This is the only reason I give it 4 stars.  Other than that, Trump Soho delivers 5-star service and staff.  I will DEFINITELY stay here again and again!

I went to this place while ago, I believe I bought a deal on Gilt or something. The facility is very nice and clean, the shower/sauna was tranquil, over all pretty good for a regular American spa. Massage wasn't bad either and the masseuse lady was lovely. I'm not giving more than 3 stars because the front desk lady was pretty snobby. I don't understand those people, don't they work in service industry for hourly wages? Probably especially because I had the Gilt deal, also this lady proceeded to mention they wanted 20% tips for the original price, which I didn't have a problem but isn't this kind of rude? If you don't want to give service for cheaper they shouldn't sell deals on flash sale sites.

Who knew The Donald had taste?

I was actually very impressed with how contained the glitz was. Felt more like a W Hotel and less like someone vomited money everywhere.

From the penthouse ballroom with an insane view of the Freedom Tower and Lower Manhattan skyline, to the food, to the service- everything was top notch.

I'm only docking it a star for two things. Elevator issues and the location for a hotel is not ideal- granted, it yields a pretty spectacular view, so I guess there are trade offs.

The facility is gorgeous and the staff very professional. I actually got upgraded to a suite because it was my birthday "staycation" unfortunately the stylist didn't show up on time for my appointment and while I am very easy going and understanding of NY city traffic, today I had a hard stop to leave on time for an event. This just shows how a wonderful in house experience can be damaged by an external vendor. I would reconsider my partners.

This review is SO OVERDUE!

Loved loved loved my stay here! I might have my own feelings on Donald Trump but at least he knows how to run a hotel!

I stayed here last year for a weekend getaway. My room was beautiful and had ample space in both the bedroom and bathroom. Actually, the bathroom seemed almost as big as the bedroom with a glass shower, deep tub, and separate room for the toilet.

I had booked a King Deluxe room over the phone, requesting a higher floor and a Hudson River view. Only problem was, when the bellhop escorted me to the room: A. it wasn't on a higher floor, B. it wasn't a Hudson River view (I had a building blocking my view), and C. there was no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. Now, I never complain but I kept repeating to the bellman, "There's no door on the bathroom!" I guess this sort of thing happens often because the next thing he said was "No problem" and in a matter of 10 minutes, I was escorted to a room on Floor 28, which had a nice, solid bathroom door and a beautiful view of the Hudson River. FYI: Their beds are super comfortable.

This was easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Their service is impeccable and the employees really bend over backwards for their guests. Everyone was so polite and courteous. I didn't get a chance to eat at Trump's in-hotel restaurant but I can imagine how good it must be, as the room service alone had such delicious food. With the spa in the hotel, I got a chance to try a hammam, which was such an amazing experience. The spa itself had wonderful amenities. Most of the treatments were a bit pricey but I thought the hammam to be reasonable (at the time, it was only around $100 but I've noticed that since then, their prices have increased considerably). My only tip is to try to book in advance as their services book up quickly. I was very lucky to get a last-minute appointment for the hammam on a Saturday. There is an outdoor pool located right next to the spa, but it is only open seasonally and since I had visited in March, it was unavailable for use.

I wish my stay could have been longer than 2 nights but next time I need a hotel in the city, I will be sure to seek out a Trump. I'll just be sure to ask for a room with a bathroom door next time.

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous!

This hotel doesn't miss a beat on service or quality.  Location is good to if you plan of staying within the Soho, Tribeca, or even Financial district.  But if you venture uptown, taxi's are readily available.

Every request we had, this hotel went above the call of duty.  I highly recommend staying at this hotel.  We eventually moved uptown just because we wanted to be within walking distance to the mid and upper east locations.  However, if I were to return and spend time within Soho, this would be my place.

Giving them 2 stars for the room and housekeeping was great. Was very excited to stay here and told the receptionist so upon checking in. I had booked on Jet Luxury and got a great price for a superior king room. Wasn't expecting the top floor with the best view. Was happier to save 150.00/night as we had planned an expensive weekend dining, shopping etc. and would not be in the room much. Upon checking in, the receptionist told us at the beginning of our conversation: "Oh, you booked with Jet Luxury. I tell everyone not to use them." I never asked his opinion nor cared to hear it. I knew what I had booked. He continued with,"why did you book with them?"
By now we were infuriated and felt very defensive. I asked him why he asked? I had no intention of giving him the satisfaction of an answer. My husband told him our conversation with him was over and we needed to speak with a different receptionist, along with requesting to speak with the manager. After checking in and now in a very bad mood, the manager Ash came over and apologized stating that this receptionist was his "star." What a joke, the guy just insulted us and this was ok? No star in my book. It would've been nice if the manager had offered a breakfast or bottle of wine, or even a drink after this but he did not. We stayed upset for the rest of the day and evening.
The room was nice, not a great view but we knew what we had booked.
There was an ice bucket in our room but no ice on the floor, had to call housekeeping. Needed to iron a few things but no ironing board and iron, again had to call housekeeping. There were two closets to accommodate this. The hall way outside of our room (12th floor) smelled like lamb chops morning noon and night. Told them about this upon checking out and the receptionist asked why we hadn't told them earlier. This obviously is a problem with the venting system, can't tell me they weren't already aware of this.
There is no bar to sit and relax, only the lobby. You have to go in to Koi restaurant which has a tiny bar and maybe 6 seats. You can have a drink in their library that really should be a bar. Strange little room.
The door to our room would shake like an earthquake every time someone went in and out of their room. Try to sleep through that!
We were charged 15.00 a day for internet. What? Upscale hotels offer this with no charge.
Lastly, the hotel is not in the great area of Soho. It's across 6th Avenue and down a block or two. Did Trump change the zip code for Soho to include his hotel?
As I said before, the best part of Trump Soho was the staff except our first encounter with the "star." Also, the room and bathroom were beautiful.
We come in to NY every year and stay in Soho. This time we wanted to try a new hotel. After this experience we will go back in to Soho next year and stay at Soho Grand or The James again.

Amazing location, great staff, clean rooms, gorgeous decor.  What's not to like? We had an exceptional stay here and will definitely be back.

We were upgraded to a gorgeous room through American Express, our room had views of both rivers- unheard of in NYC, and a view straight uptown. The suite was very large and spacious with 1.5 bathrooms. The bed was a little too warm though, no need for a down comforter in July.

I had dealt with Peggy a concierge before our arrival, and her prompt responses were very appreciated.  She made us reservations for dinner and was very accommodating.

The location can't be beat, walking distance to shopping in SoHo and delicious

One thing that was a bit annoying was the pool.  We wanted to get some sun but had no pool chairs bc it seems the locals come here to ly out in the summer.  The pool should be for registered guests only but it doesn't seem that is enforced. we found some couches to lay on which wss fine but I would prefer a lounge chair.

All in all, a great hotel.  I'd recommend this to friends and family in a heartbeat.

I had the once in a lifetime privilege of staying here for a few nights.  Start to finish world class experience.  Staff is super friendly and helpful...not typical New York at all.

I'm used to tiny closet hotel rooms in NYC so when I stepped into my room, I thought I had been upgraded to a suite but it was just a regular room.  Incredibly spacious, even the toilet had it's own area with a door to shut.  The toilet room and the bathroom had their own phones so there was a total of four phones in my room (including the one on the desk and the nightstand).  There was also a smaller flat screen in  the bathroom so two flat screens total.  I loved the incredibly plush slippers and bathrobe.

Minimalist in decor, not the gold laden fixtures as I stereotypically expected of a Trump hotel.  Very high tech - you are welcomed by your name appearing on  a flat screen and no kidding you can control the lighting, drapes, temperature and of course the tv from your remote control.  I felt like I was a member of the Trump family for a few days.  ;-)

It was a little warm when I was waiting for a taxi on the way back to JFK.  Without asking, the doorman graciously offered me a bottle of water branded with the Trump Soho name.

Overall, an incredible experience.  I hope to have the privilege of staying here again.

I really love this hotel. We got upgraded to a beautiful suite with a view to die for. Also, the restaurant is great for breakfast.
There's a Koi opening soon, so that will get rid of any sleepiness that can be felt now.

This has the expected amenities for something with Trump's name on it. But it was missing some other things that would have been helpful.

The room amenities:
-Window curtains that work on remote control
-Nice bathroom  (fancy tub, separate shower, etc)
-Good bathroom amenities - smell was a bit much after one use
-Crazy controls for the lights that made it tricky to figure out and control from the lamp (vs the wall crazy controls)

What was missing:
-Sufficient light in the room (this seems to be more common, hard to really see)
-The ironing board was for smurf size clothes (it was the size for a human sleeve I guess and I had to iron a whole dress - in the dark and on the floor kneeling while putting the tiny ironing board on a low table in the room).

Come for the View, stay because someone stole your stuff!
As a hotel the rooms are great and the food is great. My complaint comes from the fact that my friend, who is an older lady, was with me on a visit to NY got her computer stolen from her room. Because she is older, I usually stay in upscale hotels to ensure she is taken care of. She is a lovely woman and used to work in the travel business so she was very understanding and didn't make a fuss at all. They were cooperative in the beginning. However, when we left they assured us that they would be in touch once their "investigation" was complete. We have not heard from them since despite SEVEN E-mails I sent.
They have however managed to send me a bunch of E-mails asking me to review the hotel so here you go. :)

Love this place. The staff is excellent and the accommodations are well worth the money. It is definitely my favorite hotel in New York City. The food from room service is excellent. They have nice thick bath robes. They hand out umbrellas at the door when it rains. They even have a house car for short rides around Soho.

Very glamorous!  A sleek, trendy Soho hotel that doesn't feel very "Trump" like.  The rooms here are large by NY standards, huge bathrooms, lot's of marble and plush decor.  The service is great and room service fast and the food pretty good.  There isn't a bad thing you can really say.  The paparazzi that hangs outside sometimes is tiresome.... But overall... A very beautiful place to stay.

This hotel is 5 star all the way. I live on the UES and came here for a friday and saturday anniversary get away. Check in was quick and easy. The room and views were amazing. I had a corner suit with a full living room, dining area, bar and separate bedroom. The amenities in the room are fantastic, they thought of every detail and made this place spectacular. The room service was quick and had the most amazing menu. We had both dinner and breakfast and were blown away by the quality and deliciousness of the food.
My bf and I had massages at the spa and again were not let down. I am pretty sure it was of the most relaxing spa experiences I have had in a while.
The only negative about this hotel (which even though there is one they still get 5 stars) is that the elevators are sooo slow. Other than that this was an amazing experience and I plan on returning to other trump hotels in the future.

After 3 hours delay and 8 hours flight from Spain i arrive with my family and a 9 month baby to the Soho Trumph Hotel at 11pm. We had late arrival so we should have the rooms and everything was paid, what was our surprise when we arrived to the reception desk and they sold our rooms... AMAZING! nothing to say, nothing to do, just shut up and move to other Hotel at 1am.

We had travelled around the world in every kind of hotels from 6stars to hostels and this first time ever happens, and in a place called Trump SoHo NY even worst.

If you plan to visit NY and you had book in this Hotel, make sure they have your rooms and they dont sell it to other client... Good luck and take care.

Friendly staff and beautifully designed. Upgraded to a suite on the 23 floor. Unfortunately beauty is only skin deep. Espresso machine in room, but doesn't work.  No iron in room. Microwave popcorn, but no microwave oven. Long list of snacks but not stocked.  Two bathrooms and one bar of soap...seriously?  Cup rings on desk and counters...just not very clean. Clogged bathroom sink. That's pretty much it.  Not likely I will return.  What a disappointment...I was so looking forward to my stay here.

Donald Trump does not own this hotel!!  He never has. He just licenses  his name (why any developer would want his name for their property is beyond me but...)

Anyway, That explains why it's so nice. My sister-in-law had her wedding at the hotel it it could not have been nicer. The spa is great too. A big recommend.

Reviewing this solely on their club "the spot". The bar is the worst "spot" I have ever been too. They wonder why people don't stay past their free happy hour, they have 2, count them 2 bathrooms in the entire club. It's miserable. If you like drinking and then waiting in line for 45 minute to use the restroom then this is the spot for you. I don't get how this is even legal. A beer is $12 for a bud light and half the time you are drinking is waiting in line. I will never go back

..i'm so dissapointed. We stayed here a few times, and we can tell there is new management.
It's the little things:
- They replaced the real spoons that go with the nespresso machine with plastic sturing thingies (used to be real..)
- No brown sugar
- Ice bucket had 2 inces of (dusty) water... they forgot to empty it
- The Bose Home system is now a not so great sounding iHome system (?!)
- Streaks of red nail polish on the ecru/golden sofa
- Breakfast: My plain yoghurt... was not the thick, creamy, organic, soft and velvety yoghurt we had the previous 4 times... This was a plastic carton (like form the supermarket) sweetend with "non artivisial sweetner" and 0% fat. (that cost us $8... just silly)
- A toasted bagle with creamcheese, yes it was toasted..yes there was creamcheese... about one spoonfull, for the whole bagle?

But than the biggest reason for us not to come back? We woke up with the thick heavy smell of fried american breakfast...Than we had our own breakfast...and after about one hour, we could enjoy the lovely smell of fried onions...! Bah!! I have work to do today, so need to work in the room.

(10:06 am) We complained.. wanted to know if we could get an other room... guess what? Housekeeping knocked on our door... i was not dressed yet, so i asked if they could come back. Guess what they did! No... No! Guess..! ... You can't van you? Hahaha!! Right... They sprayed floral, grandma parfum UNDER THE DOOR!!! Hahaha! I'm so sick of it... We are moving hotels... Of to the Ace hotel, a loft suit for 450 p.n.

To bad Trump SoHo, we used to liked you...

I loved this hotel so much I wish I could buy a room!
Actually you could. The Trump Soho both is a hotel and sells select rooms/apartments.

We arrived extremely early after a red eye flight to be welcomed by a doorman who took our bags immediately from the taxi. After asking for my name the doorman spoke to the front desk through his hidden secret service-esque head set telling them we were on the way. First class, even before you step inside, that was a great sign.

After walking through the plush and modern lobby we arrived at the front desk hoping we could get our room that early so we could crash for a bit. It was not even a question we got our room early, and were wished happy anniversary by the extremely helpful and friendly person at the front desk.

The room was spectacular and I'm not even counting the view of the Brooklyn Bridge or the Empire State building. Everything was top of the line, with a modern feel. The room was large for NYC and that bed, oh that bed, it was like sleeping in a cocoon.

Now for the over the top! We headed out for lunch to a nice restaurant about a mile away, "would you mind if we took you in the house car?" Is that only a 7 series BMW, I guess.  ; )
It continues...A nice bottle of Prosecco arrived for our Anniversary on our first night. What an amazing hotel. Do I need to say more? Just stay there, it will be an amazing experience that you will never forget.

I utterly loved this hotel and everything about our stay!

Jim G and I visited the NYC for the first time to celebrate our 11th anniversary. They were so accommodating from beginning to end. Months prior to arriving, Jim G emailed them to tell them it was our anniversary, to request a high-floored view room, and to request early check-in since we took a red-eye from LA.  When our taxi rolled up around 7:00am, we deliriously stumbled into the lobby, praying that we could check in sometime in the next few hours.  They immediately sent us up to the 33rd floor, with stunning views of both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building. At the time, I was too tired to appreciate those things. It was nap time!

After our nap, I could check out our room. Awesome. Huge bathroom with a stand-alone soak tub, with a massive window overlooking the city. I do wish the bathroom had more counter space and more water pressure in the tub and shower.  The bed was huge and oh-so-comfy. Great wet bar, stocked with a convenient espresso maker and bottles of water that housekeeping replaced daily.

Besides the early check in and stunning room, the hotel spoiled us in so many other ways. As we were trying to grab a taxi for lunch, the doorman offered to let us use the house car. Why yes please! I'd love to be personally escorted to lunch in a 7series BMW town car!  And, later that night, we get a knock on our door with a champagne delivery to wish us a happy anniversary.  This hotel is amazing.

Housekeeping was excellent, bringing extra waters for us, an ice bucket and champagne glasses for another celebration, doing late turn down for us, etc.  Complimentary newspapers, lovely cafe for breakfast, pretty lobby with happy hour treats, kind staff all around.  Nice location to see downtown and escape from any tourist craziness, and an amazing restaurant around the corner (La Sirene; will review also).

This place isn't cheap but if you're ready to be pampered and have a wonderful place of respite after a crazed Manhattan day, come here!

My wife and I had to get out of town, so we decided on a weekend getaway to NYC.  Stayed at the Trump based on her friend's recommendation and it did not dissapoint.  From the moment we arrived, the staff were very professional and friendly.  We were given a 35th floor corner room with a beautiful view of the city.  The furnishings were top notch - nice materials throughout.  King bed was covered with excellent linens and soft pillows that begged to be slept in.

If I had to nit-pick, I would only point out two things - one, there isn't a great bar area to lounge in, and two, the hotel is a few blocks from SoHo.  Very minor issues.  Overall, you get top notch furnishings and very responsive staff in a beautiful building for a reasonable price.  For the price paid, this hotel is a good value.  I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay here was AMAZING!  The hotel is gorgeous and smells oh so wonderful.  I wish they sold air freshener of their signature scent (I'm assuming that's what it is b/c the lobby smells like their shampoo/conditioner/body wash)  b/c I would so buy it in bulk.  Comfy, spacious room with awesome view was a perfect "home" for our 1 week stay.  Nice deep tub for daily bubble baths.  Beyond just the "pretty" stuff though (and all of it is pretty), the staff and service were beyond impressive.  Everyone is helpful, friendly, attentive.  *Travel tip: use the concierge!!!  A great big thanks to Eric, who really made our trip memorable with all the touristy and non-touristy excursions, shows, restaurants he recommended.  And all completely stress-free because he took care of everything for us from car service to reservations and ticket bookings.

This has got to be one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed at. Came for a work conference that negotiated a special rate for the conference. I was a bit concerned at first since I heard rumors that since it's so new there was still the smell of paint in the rooms. I however didn't encounter any of this so I guess I lucked out. The rooms itself was marvelous and very classy. Big showers with a great view of the water. Always be sure to ask for the best view upon check-in to make sure you don't miss out.

I remember leaving the room and coming back later to find that the room was cleaned and prepared all over again. The curtains were closed and light relaxing music was playing in from the radio. It was very relaxing to come back to such an atmosphere. I've stayed at the Standard last year but this place exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond. I definitely would be coming back here.

Internet was $14.95 a night but at the lobby its free.

I had several days of work in New York and was happy to try out the new Trump Soho.  I had spent three wonderful days there, when I started noticing red itchy spots on my face and abdomen.  By the sixth day, for fear of bed bugs, decided to move hotels. The bites were visible and painful. I took photos and called the hotel  to take precautions, examine the room and treat the cause.  Over the next week, I received only one follow up call to say the issue would be sent to the Director. Also mentioned was the the room was occupied and they did not want to disturb tenants (although they may be affected by the bugs, themselves).  My one request was the hotel cover laundry costs, only.

It has been two weeks and I have not received any follow up.

For a city that was infested by this epidemic, they took no concern nor felt any responsibility for good customer service.  I have spent time at other fine hotels in NYC, the Standard, Mondrian, Grammercy Park, Smyth, and they all have had superior customer service to this hotel.

The room itself was quite lovely and had a nice view from the bathroom window. I liked the wake up and sleep buttons that automatically opened/closed the curtains and turned the lights on/off.

We ordered room service, which was ok.
The food was pretty mediocre, which I would expect at a cheap hotel but not a Trump. They also completely forgot to bring the wine we ordered even though it was on the bill, and we had to remind them.

The morning breakfast was the worst.
First they told me there were no tables available and I could sit in the library if I wanted and just get the buffet. I went in to get the buffet and there were plenty of tables open. I asked if I could just sit at one of those and they said yes.
The buffet was pathetic with yoghurt from the grocery store and barely and options. I had a miniature bagel and there was no cream cheese. I had to ask multiple times to get any and by that time my bagel was cold and stale.
I also needed a spoon for my yoghurt but I could not find one. Again I had to ask multiple times just for a spoon.
I also had to flag someone down to get a cup of coffee, and I didn't get it until I finished eating.

I think the buffet cost somewhere around $30, I would pay $5 at most given the food and service.

I would come back here again but I would not eat anything in this hotel.

I also had a terrible experience at the spa but I will write that review on the spa's page.

Really great stay at the Trump Soho. the room was really clean, impeccable. Soft comfy bed and without feathers (per our pre-check in instructions). The buttons to open and close the shades, turn the lights off and on were great.  The bathrooms were marble with tub and stand up rain style shower. I must have taken 4 showers in one day it was that great of a shower. The lobby and hotel in general has a kind of euro-international feel but that's part of the charm. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, they were great, from the front desk to the housekeeping to the valets. The wi fi in the room is not free but the lobby wi fi was... which creates a constant activity in the lobby.  Nice...   I'll stay there again.

We stayed here on a Saturday night in January, 2015 and it was AMAZING. Every single staff member is obviously well trained to make you feel special. I joined their points club and informed them it was my birthday and upon arrival we were upgraded immediately to the next grade of room, both the concierge and the manager on duty came out to wish me a happy birthday, and mini cupcakes were delivered to the room within the hour. The room was outstanding, large with floor to ceiling windows and a view of the river. There was a rainfall shower AND a two person soaking tub. The bed was heavenly and it was SO quiet. Free bottled water at check in and turn down, extra pillows, etc - all of it was incredible. We attended a show at City Winery, which is diagonally right across the street and on Sunday morning walked 2 blocks to get THE Cronut from Dominique Ansel bakery. Over all I highly recommend it. January prices are more affordable, but if you can splurge, STAY HERE!!! Location is amazing.

My favorite place to stay when visiting NY for business since the office is right down the street. Great view, heavenly beds and gotta love the automated blinds. It's pricy but worth it. People watching in the lobby is always never a let down.

The main complaint is the loyalty program. It's by number of visits and not the number of nights stayed. For some of us who have to take longer trips, we get the shorter end of the stick since it doesn't matter if you've stayed 5 nights per visit or just 1.

Beautiful hotel, stunning views and the food/service were great. The concierge was very helpful during our stay and the front desk were accommodating and friendly. Everyone was really nice which really added to the experience. The only reason I can't give this five stars is because the wifi is not free and was expensive for one day. For the amount that's already being paid and to the fact that wifi is free is so many places, I think this hotel can make that a little easier for guests. Oh and the cell service was bad in the hotel, so it didn't help to have no wifi.

Last month my then-fiancé and I stayed at Trump SoHo for just over one week to celebrate our small wedding with a ceremony in our room.  We booked the room through the Trump SoHo website, which was very user friendly.

Upon arrival to Trump SoHo we were greeted by friendly and professional doorman and the bellmen promptly took our bags, tagged them, and eventually brought them straight to our room.  Top notch!!  We checked in at the front desk and they immediately pulled up our reservation which had all of our special requests listed (and I mean ALL).

We held our breath, entered our room, and were blown away by the spectacular views.  Our room was on the 38th floor facing uptown.  We had a deluxe corner suite, which if you can afford, is totally worth the extra money! We had amazing views of the entire city, especially the Empire State Bldg. and the Hudson River.  At night, the city was lit up and looked magical. We witnessed many magnificent sunrises and sunsets.  The décor of the space was modern with the feel of an open concept layout.  After reading the reviews we were concerned about the notorious bathroom door issue.  We were more than pleased to realize our room had TWO bathrooms, with one having a fully closed door for complete privacy.  Our suite was well equipped with a stocked mini-fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, and IPod dock clock/radio, 3 TV's, plenty of desk space, and free Wi-Fi.  The Wi-Fi was complimentary with our room.  The king sized bed was super comfortable and we especially loved the motorized blackout curtains.  We had the option of controlling those while lying in bed.  Actually we were able to control the lights, TV, and the blackout curtains from bed!  Thank you Trump for appealing to our lazy side!  The bathroom was ultra modern with marble floors and spacious shower with a rainfall showerhead.  Ah, that felt like luxury!!  The huge bathtub was positioned by an enormous window so one could overlook the entire city.

Housekeeping arrived daily to prepare the room for the day and came each evening to provide turn down service.   Did I mention the delicious chocolate they left behind each night?  The staff kept the rooms impeccably clean and well stocked with towels, spa items, etc.  They honored all special requests and were friendly and professional.  This is a direct result of their leader, Assistant Housekeeping Director, Ms. Lourdes Natividade, with whom we got to personally meet.  She made herself and her staff available to accommodate any need we had.  She left us her direct number and encouraged us to call her as often as needed.

Let's discuss in-room dining.  In one word -- YUM!!  We had the pleasure of ordering several breakfasts and dinners and to our surprise the food was delicious!  More importantly, on our wedding day we ordered many items off of their in-room catering menu.  They delivered our food at the exact time we requested, set up the entire area so that when it was complete it looked elegant and professionally done.  The food was fresh, tasted amazing, and was devoured by my guests!!  And when we were finished, it took one quick phone call to have someone come, clean, and remove everything!  Money WELL spent!

As expected, our wedding day (and the week thereafter) was absolutely AMAZING.  As already mentioned, the staff, the food, the room, the service was PERFECT.

Lastly, there is one special individual that helped make this wedding celebration one that we will NEVER forget.  Do yourself a favor and meet Ms. Diana Damian, Director of Guest Relations, and honorary Queen of Making Dreams Come True.  Joking aside, this woman single-handedly took our wedding ceremony from "beautiful" to MAGICAL.  Ms. Damian listened to our ideas on how we wanted to celebrate our wedding day/wedding ceremony, which was going to be in our room.  She instead offered suggestions that we never even dreamed of and would certainly never had asked for.  Without giving away exactly what was offered and what made OUR specific ceremony special, we celebrated in a manner that will be, for us, a once in a lifetime experience.  Because of her, we have beautiful memories that we will treasure for our lifetime.  Because of her, our family walked away in complete AWE!  And because of her, we will be forever grateful and indebted.  There are no words to describe the joy and love we got to experience because of Ms. Damian's ideas, creativity, genuine kindness, and expertise.

Overall, our experience was exceptional.  We loved how every person -- doorman, housekeeping, etc. -- were seemingly apprised of our wedding, and offered many congratulations throughout our stay.  Nice personal touch!  And another reason why plan to be back to celebrate many anniversaries!  Thank you Trump SoHo!

What a 5-star, best-in-class service hotel should be!

My husband and I stayed here for a friend's wedding, and it couldn't be any more perfect.  When there was a misunderstanding with our reservation, they quickly apologized and upgraded our hotel room to a suite on a high floor.

Previously, we stayed at a W Hotel, in a tiny room in Union Square, where we heard day and night traffic.  In the Trump Hotel, it was nirvana.  Perfect, unparalleled service and luxury.  Staff was top-notch: somehow always present when we needed help, but not so obtrusive and irritating.  When I couldn't find a taxi in the rain to the wedding, they found a car service to take me.  This is far beyond the call of duty, and for that, I'll never stay at another hotel but a Trump Hotel.  I can't speak for the regular rooms, but the suite was beautiful.  The bathroom had both a beautiful marble sunken tub and a rain shower.  The living room conveniently had a nice couch, that was convertible.  A friend decided to stay over, and again, service was impeccable. They were kind enough to bring up an extra set of toothbrush and toothpaste for our friend.

I've stayed in many hotels during my lifetime, both domestically and internationally, and I have to say that Trump SoHo has been one of the top 5 hotels.  Forget the trendy hotels; this is timeless.  I can't wait to visit New York if only to stay at the Trump!

Trump Soho has nice facilities and some bright spots in customer service, but it also has some highly annoying aspects.  When we were staying at the hotel, a very famous pseudo-celebrity was also staying there.  Most upscale hotels would take that all in stride, but this hotel seemed to fawn over them at the expense of the other guests.

Security seemed preoccupied and perhaps not properly staffed.  For example, when we checked in, our safe was locked.  We called security to unlock it so that we could use it.  It took three hours and three phone calls to get them to come.  A security guy finally came, did something quick to unlock it, and then ran out without even checking to see if the guest before us had left anything in the safe (it was empty, but I would expect them to at least look).

The next morning I waited fifteen minutes for an elevator.  I called the front desk from my cell phone to see if there was a problem.  Although the telephone personnel were quite nice, nothing happened, and I fortunately eventually encountered a maintenance guy whom was kind enough to take me down the service elevator.   The next day, I talked to a woman in the lobby whom said that she had waited 30 minutes on the 30th floor and finally walked down!  She said that the hotel had a maintenance issue with one elevator yet still decided to take another one out of service to reserve for use for the celebrity family.  I don't know if that's true, but I personally wouldn't doubt it based on what I saw.

On the plus side, the rooms are very nice and well appointed.  The bed was very comfortable.  The decor is contemporary and clean.  Views from some rooms are nice, but not all -- if you care about the view, be very specific.

We had a mixed experience with room service.  The first morning it was fine; the second morning it was late and missing several items (which pre-empted me from having breakfast given that I had to leave especially early to make sure that I had time to wait for the elevator!)  Although, I have to say that the elevator came in a timely fashion that morning, and I should have stayed and enjoyed my breakfast.

Overall, I'm hoping that we just caught Trump Soho at a bad time.  It's quite attractive and comfortable, and there are some helpful staff.  Just a couple of really overwhelmingly annoying issues that a hotel of this calibre should not have.

There are many pros to the Trump:
1. It's the Trump
2. The view (as many have posted pics below)

Yes - it's a hotel. People have isolated bad experiences at hotels. I would definitely recommend staying here despite what some below me say.

Decided to come to New York for the Super Bowl and I couldn't be happier with the Trump Hotel. We ordered breakfast and Pedro was THE BEST person ever. If you ever need to order room service, ask for Pedro. We love him!!!

the staff is nothing but top notch here. everyone is quite lovely. i ordered the steak and eggs for breakfast once and it wasn't as expensive as i thought it was gonna be. also a cool place to celebrity watch. ran into q-tip at the ground floor restaurant and 2 chainz in the elevator once. that was cool. haha.

i got a chance to stay in the studio and also a 1 bedroom. the 1 bedroom is gorgeous. altho i thought it was a bit weird that the bathroom didn't have a door. bathrooms are definitely gorgeous also. i can tell a lot went into building the place. i really like all their remote controlled switches, opening curtains, dimming lights. its all pretty badass.

their library is nice and the pool... well i didn't get to swim in the pool as i had been there when it was still cold and windy. the staff did give us towels to cover ourselves as we sat out by the pool and had drinks and snacks. they have some stellar cocktails actually. their twist on a spicy mojito was great. i don't remember what else we had ordered but the tuna tartar was quite good also.

amazing views if you get on a floor high enough. we stayed here for 4th of july had a corner room on 41st floor had absolutely great views of everything. service was great they brought us free toothbrushes and more coffee. they had a nespresson machine in the room which was great. room service was delicious but very expensive. elevators were kind slow. neighborhood is awesome the hotel is so out of place in the neihhborhood but that make it special. great food options around.

The location, the decor, the bed, the size of the room, the service.... Everything was great. I was highly impressed with how attentive and available the staff was. We spent a half hour or so with Peggy, a concierge, on our first day adding to and improving our trip's itinerary. Her recommendations were on point and much appreciated. The size of the room was impressive, as I know that sometimes rooms in NYC can be cramped, even at higher price points. The location was great, Soho is pretty centrally located (between midtown and the financial district/ WTC), but slightly removed from a lot of the hustle and bustle (although there's still some!) Probably the only thing that I wasn't overly impressed with was the fact that the thoroughness of housekeeping varied from day to day; at a hotel of this caliber, I'd expect it to be exactly the same every day. All in all, we were very, very pleased with the Trump.

Absolutely impressed with Trump Soho, from the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms and cool atmosphere. Yes, the beds are too soft, but everything else is awesome. We had a bathroom with bath, shower, two sinks and a great view of the east side (plus Empire State Building etc).  The TV was huge and great quality, and other cool things, such as 'goodnight' button to close curtains and turn everything off, was fun. Room service is expensive and there's no free wifi, and along with the soft bed, makes this is a healthy 4-star review.

For the first time ever we decided to stay in Soho...and since Trump is one of the Amex FHR properties, we decided to stay there. We had room 2905 with a bedroom and separate living area with a pull out couch for our daughter.

The Good:

* Staff is amazingly nice
* Rooms are very clean
* Furnishings new and updated
* Views are amazing
* Kids are treated so well (slippers, robe, coloring book, etc.)

The Bad:

* Common areas (lobby, restaurant) are freezing. And I mean freezing!
* Bathrooms have no doors...this is very confusing to me. I mean, frosted glass is one thing but a door is really still necessary.
* The breakfast buffet is just....sad. Most bowls / platters were empty and what was there was just tasteless.
* Pool closes at 6pm. I don't get it?

The Bottom Line: I realize I have a lot of negative points above, but this property is really quite nice and welcoming. If ever in Soho I will definitely stay at the Trump again. I will avoid their overpriced breakfast of course, and will bring a sweater. Overall this is a great property with a few kinks.

I flew to New York for a work conference last weekend and had the good fortune of being lodged at the Trump Soho.  The hotel is beautiful, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the location is well situated to exploring Lower Manhattan.

My favorite thing about the hotel was the view.  I was up on the 25th floor, so I could see all of the lower east neighborhoods and across into Brooklyn.  The entire wall was windows, so the sun was the perfect alarm clock.

Another thing I enjoyed was the fitness center, which is open 24 hours and has plenty of machines.  It could use a little better air circulation (too warm for my taste) and the view wasn't terrific, but the variety of equipment for cardio and strength training was impressive.

One thing though: I am docking a star for the cost of Wi-Fi: $15/day is ridiculous.  It's a luxury hotel with plenty of amenities--guests shouldn't have to pay another fee for basic services.  (On the bright side, Starbucks across the street has free Wi-Fi)

There is nothing I can say that could ever tarnish this magnificent hotel. The Trump Soho is exemplar in every criteria of what one would expect in hospitality.

My partner had reserved a suite and spa day for Valentine's weekend. Our suite was immaculate in style & cleanliness. The environment exuded warmth and luxury. The views of the city  were spectacular, especially when the snow storm came rushing in towards our windows. The whirling snowflakes dancing around our fish bowl suite made the room feel magical. This was also my first snow in my life!

The staff, all beautiful, was very accommodating, genuinely friendly and provided better then excellent service.

The staff at the spa were meticulous, professional and poised in service, attitude and ensured all aspects of our special time together was rejuvenating and luxurious.

I was too sad to leave as our suite had begun to feel like home. Too bad I couldn't take the comfy bed home!

I can't wait to stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the Trump Soho in the past 2 months.  The rooms are nice and spacious, very clean, and the beds are super comfortable.  The staff is extremely friendly.   They provide 1 or 2 complimentary bottles of water.  On this last visit, we were upgraded to a suite but didn't get the water or toiletries refreshed on the 2nd day.  Not a huge deal.  My only real complaint about the room itself is that there are no doors to the restroom.  The restroom is a nice size.  The actual toilet itself is behind a door in the bathroom, but there isn't really any privacy (if that's a concern) when you're showering or taking a bath.  Nice large walk in shower, and nice size tubs.  I just didn't like that there was no actual door leading into the restroom.   It could be awkward if sharing the room with anyone other than your significant other.
We had to laugh at the prices on the mini bar.  $8.00 for a regular sized Kit Kat bar.  Yes, you're at The Trump, but still a little crazy.

I was charged a higher price for a glass of wine in the lounge and it took approximately 20 minutes to get it resolved.  There was only 3 other tables in there.

Some of the Kardashian Klan (Khloe and Kortney) were staying there during our recent stay, and there were people lined up outside to see them.

Overall, I have enjoyed both of my stays at the Trump Soho and would be happy to return.

OK, so I have to say that Trump SOHO has disappointed me in the worst way :(

Yes, I had given them five stars after my first stay, but I guess everything can change in a matter of two years.

When I stayed two years ago, I paid full rate (now mind you, that's like five bills a night), had actually received some uncharacteristic service. The TV wasn't working properly, and AC wasn't working and I woke up sweating each night. At the time that I stayed, they didn't fix the problem. So I complained about waking up on the 33rd floor sweating each morning, and the GM at the time offered me a free night, and literally told me, "Come back any time. We'd love to have you."

Well guess what, "any time" is NOW. I'm heading back to NYC on June 1 for my birthday, and decided to call on Trump Soho to make it fabulous.

In dealing with their staff (who shall not be named due to privacy reasons), here is what was said:

"We do not have availability for the nights that you are requesting. We put aside a certain allotment of rooms for complimentary nights and for the nights of June 1-4, they have been taken. For the nights of June 1-4, the rate we can offer is our best available rate of $563/night for our Deluxe king room. Please let me know if you would like to book your complimentary night and any additional nights and it will be my pleasure to confirm your reservation."

WHY this is wrong on so many levels? Um, first off, I ALREADY PAID FULL rate when I woke up sweating each night two years ago.

I mean, I wasn't the one who asked for a night. The Trump SOHO OFFERED IT TO ME because of their poor service. It's not like I won it on a game-show or something, so why are they all of a sudden claiming to have "black out" dates?

I guess promises don't mean much in the face of money.

My stay at the 1-21-2015 Trump SoHo was exceptional . We have stayed to the hotel before and always have great service and are surprised that they always remember us. This time we checked in and where upgraded to a suite on the 41st floor with an excellent view . Since we stay at the hotel often it is not uncommon to receive an upgrade or free gift . The location is convenient because of its proximity to SoHo and there is a great pool in the summer.  I have stayed at most of the 5 star hotels in NYC and find the level of service at Trump top notch. What really sealed the deal for me was what happened after my stay. I realised that I forget a bag with my Jeans and a few other items . It was not until 2 weeks later that I had the opportunity to call to see if they could locate my stuff. Jackie in customer service was quick to find my items and even sent them Fed Ex the next day! That never happens when you leave things behind at a hotel. Great designed Hotel rooms and suite's are modern and comfortable . You can not go wrong with this hotel.

I live here, sort of, lol. Love! Very clean, very professional, spa is pricey so I go out off the hotel to get spa treatments... My PH view is a dream, the view at night makes me feel new every day. Gym, I do my lazy workout at the gym here but go out to the New York Sport Club for a butt kicking exercise. The breakfast is amazing and restaurant down stairs is great. The lunge area is nice. I get to enjoy live Jazz while I sip on my, " glass of Pepsi" lol. Lovely, from A to Z. Like I have heard, management tend to move your stuffs out of the room ( when you're not there for checkout) if you over stayed and didn't notify them:(

Beautiful place to spot all kinda Celebs from Cedric the entertainers to the Real house wife's to Jonas Brothers( they stay here often) and Niki Minaj, Riri, gaga ....

The London Hotel is Amazing too... :)

We just came back a week ago from our visit to New York and we had the pleasure of staying at Trump Soho during our visit. We stayed in the 1-Bedroom Premier Suite and my husband and I were both thoroughly impressed. Service here is excellent and everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help. We took a red-eye flight so we arrived pretty early for check-in (8AM). When we've done this at other hotels, understandably, they would not have a room ready for us and we'd end up having them hold our bags while we lounge somewhere on property. But this was not the case at Trump Soho. When the lady at check-in heard that we just took a red-eye in and that we were tired, she was more than happy and willing to get us into our room so that we could relax.

The room itself is very impressive. Every room (be it bedroom, living room or bathroom) had a beautiful, expansive panoramic view of the cityscape and Hudson River! I repeat, EVERY ROOM HAD A VIEW! The windows are floor to ceiling so wherever we sat or stood, we would be looking at the most beautiful view.

One most notable mention is the spa... I have been to pretty much every spa at every resort that I've traveled to and I have to say, the spa at Trump Soho has to be one of the top 2 (service wise) that I've visited. The spa space itself is smaller than other spas. I don't know if this is because I did not visit the co-ed waiting area and just stayed in the women's waiting area. But regardless, it is definitely smaller in size compared to others. However, everything is very well and conveniently appointed. With that being said, whatever it lacked in size, it more than made up for in service/treatment! I had Daisy during my service and she is hands down the best aesthetician that I have ever had. She made the experience so enjoyable and she is extremely good at what she does. I have decided that I would come back to Trump Soho just so I can get a treatment from Daisy.

The only "thumbs down" for me is how contemporary the decor was. But this is more of my personal preference and taste and not at all a reflection of the hotel lacking in any way. Thus, no star is taken away for this. If you love warm contemporary designs coupled with excellent service, this will be a heavenly stay for you.

The hotel is nice - very clean rooms, nicely decorated, modern bathrooms. The rooms themselves are fairly large. And the bathrooms are huge for NYC standards. The bedding is very comfortable.

The views are stellar. Looking northeast you can see the ESB, and the Chrysler building. Even better at dawn for the sunrise... it's very pretty.

Location is great. If you follow Spring east, you will start running into all the cool shops that SoHo has to offer. Another bonus - easily accessible to the C and E trains. I seem to spend a lot of time on the E, so it worked out great for me.

I think the only complaint would be there is no doors on the bathrooms. Just kind of weird.

Bonus: across the street is an Aveda salon - so if you forgot your hair stuff, look no further!

The first time I stayed at the Trump Soho I had a great experience. The second time, not so much.

After a long flight from LAX I checked in at the Trump where I was then informed the water was going to be shut off all night due to some scheduled maintenance.

I was a bit disappointed to hear this upon arrival, being that I had been on such a long flight and all I wanted was to take a shower and get to bed. Had I known the showers were not going to be working, I would have booked another hotel.

The next day when the water was on, I hopped in the shower only to find it had not been cleaned. There was an open bottle of shampoo from the prior guest on the shower floor tile. This was kind of gross but I moved on.

I thought I would order a quick breakfast before some meetings. I called room service and ordered a large coffee and a smoothie. 30 minutes later my two drinks arrived at the price of $50.00. Now I'm used to paying a lot extra for room service, but $50.00 is a bit pricey for two non-alcoholic beverages. I could see it being $25 or even $30... But $50?

Unfortunately, I probably won't be making the Trump Soho my first choice again.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Nice hotel, definitely luxurious. Huge bathrooms. Every amenity you can think of. It does of course come at a price. Everything is expensive but you expect that from a 5 diamond property.

Beautiful lobby, feels more like a boutique hotel. Bell boys weighed our luggage and housekeeping was on top of every need. Most comfortable hotel bed EVER.

Location is ok. Could be closer to Broadway but only two blocks from the new and FABULOUS Laduree tea salon.

We have stayed at other Trump properties and were excited about this one. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite and paid 5 star pricing. This was really not a 5 star experience though.

Areas that need improvement:
- beds are well worn and sagging
- towels are worn and hard
- stains on carpets and furniture need to be cleaned
- one (great) but lone waitress was working the library bar on New Year's Eve
- we had to send back edamame that were still frozen
- our keys kept locking us out and eventually needed the manager to figure out how to keep them working
- when families book at 2 bedroom suite, we should not need to ask for door stoppers to keep the connecting doors open
- while security was checking room keys on New Year's Eve, they were not opening the door and there was no doorman on duty at 2 am (on a holiday night!)
- chocolate on pillows 3 nights out of 4 (not the last night)
- water is refreshed every evening if you finish your bottle from the night before
- no champagne for this anniversary couple (and we did let them know)
- besides the manager who helped figure out our key situation after no one else could and security never came, we saw none of the much touted Trump service.

Don't expect complete quiet either as others have posted. We heard the rumbling of the subway 18 floors up all night. And our last night someone above or below was partying happily which we heard.

We cannot recommend this property.

Convienently located on the edge of SoHo, The Trump is that perfect place to get away, relax, and have a good time. The hotel staff is more than hospitable here. They even provide with umbrellas to borrow as you're leaving the hotel if it looks like rain! The rooms a beautifully decorated in modern-chic decor. The technology was up date, and I liked that they had an espresso machine in every room. However, it would've been nice if it had come with some instructions. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to NYC, especially for their first time. If you want a nice place to stay, a convienent and safe location, this is it. Life is short, stay at The Trump.

3.5 stars. The hotel is great and located well. I had some issues with housekeeping...dusty room, turn downs done in a sloppy fashion, and a bed that was so soft my husband and I ended up slumped in the middle each morning. What I did love was the location, the staff, and the breakfast. We were there for a week on the Amex program. We usually stay uptown and for the money we got what we paid for. I think they should just charge a bit more and get the service up to 5 star hotel service. However, I would stay there again, but now I know what to ask for...

My wife's company held a meeting downtown this past Friday.  Knowing her conference would be held on the same date as her birthday, I made reservations for an overnight, a fews weeks in advance.

We celebrated her birthday with a fabulous meal at Birds and Bubbles, then scurried over to Trump Soho, where unbeknownst to my wife, I  made preparations with the Front Desk Agent, to have her Birthday Cake and Champagne, refrigerated and stored until after dinner.

When we arrived back to the hotel slightly after 10pm, the Concierge (my apologies for not remembering his name, he was great )  made sure the birthday cake and champagne were promptly brought up to our room.

The view from 39th floor was spectacular.   The whole staff at the Soho Trump is fantastic, and my wife and I were treated like royalty.

And I want to extend a special thank you to Sydeka at the front desk for being so gracious and professional to my wife and I.

I look forward to staying at the Trump Soho again, it was a truly great experience.

Came for a corporate event to one of the ballrooms and the view is great. The drinks were paid for in advance so I don't know how much they cost but I'm pretty sure they aren't cheap. Overall you can see most of downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn along with parts of NJ from the ballroom. Did not stay in the rooms so I can't comment on those.

Stayed here for five nights with my wife and daughter.

I had reserved by phone specifically for a king size bed WITH room for my daughter at a particularly agreed upon price...once we arrived, I was told I had to pay an extra $75 for my child's bed and that this is the way its done in NY, Blah, blah, blah...!! I would not make a mistake like that, because an extra $75 per night changes the equation and at this price point opens up many more options...needless to say, an upgrade to a corner suite for an extra $130 per night left me quite satisfied - as the one bedroom suite is SUPER NICE!

Location 4 +/5, i think if I had a suite with some of the views(like others) I would have felt the location were a 5/5

Decor 6/5 super chic, can you say ALL FENDI FURNISHINGS AND DESIGN??(I wish my house looked like this and Im more of the traditional type...)

Service outstanding 5/5 - every hotel worker I spoke to during my visit was up to par without being over the top!

Lobby, pool area, koi restaurant(I did not try it, but I love to have a sushi option) 5/5

Room and bathroom layout 5/5 (be careful if you share a suite with non-partner as there is no door to the master bathroom(for the use of shower) as there is a second restroom..

Not everything was perfect(it usually never is for a longer stay)
I had one issue with the air conditioning (that was fixed) and one issue with the lighting switch in the bathroom that was fixed(the next day as it was 2am...)

Bottom line.

This is New York, and for NY standards, and what I believe is somewhat limited competition for this soho fringe location...I felt the trump soho left me fully satisfied!

I will come back, if the price is compelling enough - as it turned out to be during this visit! If the pricing will be at Peninsula, four seasons, mandarin etc....I may not? Soho is great, but so is being close to central park. The one location I will not go to even if it were reasonably priced is time square - no way jose!

My room was fantastic! It had an amazing panoramic views of NYC and the Hudson. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and included a shower and a separate large tub with a view. I was very relieved to see that they include a professional hair dryer. I didn't bring one and was scared that the one in the hotel was going to be very slow and not hot enough...  The Concierge was always very helpful and attentive. The location was very centric  just a short walk to the middle of Soho, the Village, Meat Packing district, etc. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

Incredible view.  Incredible hotel.  Incredible service.  Incredible amenities.

Absolutely beat you to death for every penny to the point of ridiculousness...  $12 for a (cheap) beer at the pool bar?  $8 would have been fine...

Unorganized check in process.  Was sent to room and given keys only to find a maid in the room and was told to come back in 30 minutes.  They sent up champagne to apologize... but then tried to CHARGE me for it????

Great hotel, but be prepared to pay more than you thought you would....  $500 reservation quickly turned into $800 charge with all their "extras"....

PS: Didn't get a chance to try out spa/gym/or restaurant. Also beds are low to the ground, I usually prefer higher up ;p

The Trump Soho exceeded all expectations for my first visit with a friend. I stayed in an Executive Suite on the 38th floor and wow what a stunning view.

Checking in was a breeze, very polite staff who greeted us warmly and offered us bottled water. We headed up on the elevators to our room which had modern furniture and lighting. Three tv's, one in the living room, one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom. Amazing king sized bed which was very comfortable. The view was of course the best part. Great views of the Hudson River and the city. The room was very clean, nothing seemed worn or stained. Bathroom, very spacious and comfortable with a window over the bathtub for some more great views of the city. The rainfall shower head was my favorite.

In room dining had a healthy variety. I happened to order a chicken soup the evening I arrived and breakfast the next morning. I ordered buttermilk pancakes, a croissant with ham and swiss and a plate of fruit, everything was delicious and on each occasion, my plates arrived within 10 minutes. I requested a late check out which they honored and overall, I was very pleased with the level of service and the amazing room. Everything was top notch and a huge thanks to the concierge, housekeeping and staff for making me feel welcomed and at ease. I will be coming back very soon!

My boyfriend and I spent March 7-9 in NY and stayed here.  It's the first time we stayed in the SoHo area and we both really enjoyed the stay.  The subway is just up the street which makes it super convenient.  All the staff were really friendly.

The room itself was actually smaller than what we expected (we were on the 12th floor) and the rooms were really close together so I constantly heard doors slamming when other visitors were going in and out of their rooms. The bed was pretty comfortable however, the light switches were a little confusing to operate - it wasn't just ON/OFF!

We had some issues with the HBO channels.  We would watch a movie and half way through it the screen became all scrambled.  This lasted for about 15-20 minutes.
When you turn on the TV, they have a personalize message however, they used "Ms" instead of "Mr" for my boyfriend :P

There was no late check-out either.

Goodies:  complimentary water and chocolates.  We had our toothpaste taken away at the airport so we asked whether there was toothpaste available and the staff came back with both dental and shaving kits!  We had a complimentary WIFI code the first day since our room wasn't ready yet.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will consider staying here again the next time we are visiting NY.

With hotels, I feel you get what you pay for and this was well worth the price tag. This was my first stay here as I usually at the Crosby Street Hotel or the Mondrian. The service was top notch from the time I pulled up to the curb til the time I packed my bags.
Everyone from the bell hop to the front desk to the spa were genuinely warm and hospitable.

I chose the 1 bedroom suite with the LR separated by a pocket door. The room was much more spacious than anticipated especially for NYC standards. There were some nice luxury touches such as a rain shower, beveled subway tile, modern hardware, and VoIP phones and not the traditional handheld like your grandmother.
I was originally going to book a King with a rollaway bed but the 1 bdrm suite was relatively the same price so I upgraded. FYI, not all suites have pull out sofas so be sure to request. There are a few other amenities that sets it apart from other comparably priced hotels:
-- additional  1/2 bath
-- nespresso machine with complementary capsules
-- microwave
-- multiple central controls for lights and power drapes
-- dual AC--one for bedroom, other for LR
-- 2 storage closets

Another perk is location--only a few blocks from SoHo and Greenwhich Village. There's also a Starbucks across the street but there's so many other great coffee places on the city--Ground Support a few blocks down in SoHo, La Colombe, etc.

The only slight complaint is the cool temperature in the common areas. I think it was a rarity for the weather to be so perfect--high in 80s with breezy cool winds. Will def be staying again next time!

The BAD: The biggest complaint I had was the super slow service. I told them to come and pick up my birthday cake so it could be stored in a fridge and they took forever. The next day, I was having friends over and requested housekeeping and THAT took two hours! The concierge SUCKS. Don't ask them about events in the area. They are not knowledgeable at all. You're better off googling whatever it is you want to do. I asked them for birthday ideas and they recommended a Dave Chapelle show. What the hell?  Last complaint: The elevators gets crowded fast! So if you have to go somewhere leave a little early.

The GOOD: The views are to die for. I wanted to stay there forever because of the view alone. It is absolutely breathtaking.  The room is clean, the bathroom doesn't have a door.... but I liked it. It was different ; ). The in-house restaurant Koi is great. The food is good and the server was really nice. I enjoyed playing bocce ball and having cocktails upstairs. It was so much fun.

My suite was $700 a night. I expected much better but it's NYC so I understand. At least they didn't have bugs :/

I was here for the Linkedin Conference on Talent Brands - so while I did not eat or sleep in the hotel, I can certainly review the meeting spaces, the food catered in, and the level of attentiveness of the staff. I skipped breakfast, but that chocolate chip cookie I snagged on the mid-morning break was delicious. The breakfast that everyone had looked delicious (they had eggs, pancakes and bacon, as well as yogurt parfaits).

The staff was kind and attentive - quick to point out the direction of the room that we were to be corralled into. I didnt particularly like the hidden bathrooms (on the third floor), but with 100 people trying to walk down narrow hallways in different directions, it could have just been my anxiety of being in close spaces with so many people.

Overall - great experience and if you're looking for a place to go to be pampered, its a great safe bet for a solid experience.

This place is luxury all the way! From the moment you walk into those massively impressive doors to the lobby with the sweetest staff to greet you. I guess at these rates it better be this good. However, that's not always the case, this place stands up to the expectations. I prefer it much more than the Trump in columbus circle, its more personable and fun.

The rooftop pool area is really nice too, make sure to stop by for a drink poolside even if its too chilly, the view is beautiful. But then again the views from the rooms are so crazy good too you hardly want to leave the room. The bathtub is awesome, a night bath overlooking the city with a glass a wine should be on your must-do list if you stay here.

A must stay!

We just returned from another GREAT stay at the Trump Soho.   We have stayed at other hotels in Soho, including one I didn't find so "Grand".     We go 2-3 times per year and stay for 5 nights each time.   We always stay in a Premiere Corner Room--this time on the 38th floor.   The views were 180 degrees and spectacular--the City, the River, and The Freedom Tower.   This is New York at its finest.

The staff is very helpful and polite.   They are happy to bring whatever you need.    The Doormen ALWAYS greet us by name and are very helpful and pleasant.    Having Koi right in the hotel is nice too.   It's one of our favorites at home in L.A..

Aside from the comfort and attractiveness of the guest rooms, the location of this hotel is amazing.   We walk all over the city from here--all right, sometime we may use a taxi or Über if we've wandered too far away.    The atmosphere at the hotel is serene.

We are returning in a couple of months.   By the way, an inside tip, great discounted rates for this property are available through Magellan Vacations.

We had our wedding at the hotel a year ago and returned again to celebrate our one year anniversary. The hotel sent us an offer for an anniversary package a month before and we couldn't resist going back to relive some of the memories.

Once again we are very happy with our experience. Everything from check-in process to the amenities was perfect. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The views are breathtaking. I like little tech gadgets the close and open the blinds or how my name is recognized by the phone or TV system. We had ordered breakfast the night before and it arrived timely at the exact time we expected. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. It was convenient that the breakfast was rolled into the room on the cart that opened into a table.

We enjoyed few hours by the pool during the day. When we got to the pool around 11:30am, all the chairs were taken. The attendant took my name down and said she would call us when next one would be available. I set at the bar table for less than 5 min and was about to take dip in the pool when the attendant stopped by to bring us over to lounge chairs that got freed up.

The only downside to hotel is that the elevators can be slow.

I'm not a fan of Trump, but he knows what he's doing when it comes to hotels.

Happened to hotel crash on an out of town friend here while they were in the city on business.

I'm obsessed with nice hotel rooms so I'll crash with friends in theirs when they're in town on business.  They prefer their stay in the city to be in a super fancy hotel? I don't mind. I take advantage. Whatevs.

Bed is super comfy. Service amazing. View of Manhattan made me appreciate home that much more.

Nice overnight stay :)

Upon arrival we checked in quickly come to find out that we got a complimentary upgrade from 30- something floor to the 41st floor with an amazing view and some added extras. We were asked if this was the first visit i replied yes and told them that it was our anniversary. Because of the special occasion moments after we were settling in there was a knock on the door with a complimentary bottle of champagne. We were blown away. Our stay was everything that I expected from the room service down to the towels. If you're looking to get away with your significant other, this is the place to go.
What you get:
-bathtub for two
-king bed
-separate stand up shower
-lcd TV
-remote control everything lol
-his and her sinks
-complimentary coffee
-late night food for those looking just to stay in
-slippers =)
-pool (open only summer time )
-small TV in the bathroom
-heat and ac remote control
At the moment that's all I can think of. Hopefully , the pictures speak for themselves

Overall, our anniversary weekend was perfect because of their hospitality.

Trump SoHo is a contemporary hotel in the heart of SoHo in Manhattan.  It combines a great location with great service and amenities, and should definitely be considered if you're visiting NYC and wanted to stay in SoHo.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return)

Atmosphere - Elegant, sophisticated, contemporary, and warm - these are a few words I'd use to describe Trump SoHo.  It has a nondescript entrance off Spring/Varick, but once you pass through the large doors you enter a warm, charming lobby.  It's very inviting, and does a great job of creating a feeling of relaxation even though you're in the heart of the city.  1 Star.

Service - Everyone was top notch.  We were here for our anniversary, and upon hearing this we received a room upgrade.  The doorman were great in hailing taxis, and we received champagne the first night.  Trump SoHo also does turn down service.  Each night our room/bed was prepared, a bottle of water & chocolate was placed at both nightstands, and it really put some great touches that made the stay even more memorable.  1 Star.

Facility - Trump SoHo is not only a beautiful, contemporary hotel, but it's also smart & efficient.  Our bathroom was huge, with a separate shower, tub, stall, and even TV by the sink.  We had a fantastic view of the Hudson River as well as Battery Park.  The bed was very comfortable, and the room was automated with the ability to turn on lights, open the shade, or completely make the room dark with a push of a button.  The room had a wet bar with a Nespresso machine, and what impressed me the most was the modular design.  There were closets tucked away, a pull out microwave, and of course a large flat screen TV.  Also, the location in SoHo made many shopping, restaurants, and the World Trade Center memorial a short distance away.  A perfect combination of location, luxury, & service.  2 Stars.

Will I Return? - Yes.  This was my first stay in SoHo, and I really enjoyed the location as well as the hotel.  Say what you will about Mr. Donald Trump.  He may have an ego, be a self-promoter, but the man knows real-estate & he knows how to build a fine hotel. 1 Star.

My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts):
1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive?  Perhaps an upscale place?  No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm.
1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service.  But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four.  It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point.
2 Stars - Facility - I'll award up to two stars for the facility, since this is the main reason you'll choose to stay.  Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the facility.
1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return.

Each Category can be given up to 1 star except facility (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall experience.  I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Trump SoHo in February of 2015. The rooms were modern and nicely appointed. The restaurant, Koi, is excellent and Trump SoHo guests are allowed to charge meals from Koi to their room.

What really set Trump SoHo apart is the service offered by its employees, from the doormen to the security guards to the front desk to the concierge. The staff at Trump SoHo treats its guests with respect and that is something that I greatly appreciated. For someone looking for a nice hotel with a great location and a wonderful staff that is very respectful to its guests, I would highly recommend Trump SoHo and look forward to staying there again in the future. Keep up the good work!

A nice place to stay in the city. There is nothing to complain about.
Convenient location of the hotel supplements with a catching view of the room and soft pillows.
Highly recommend to visit the last floor of the building... There is a breathtaking panorama of The Big Apple  at a glance.

Beautiful lobby. Beautiful room with floor to ceiling windows in the room and bathroom. Our bathtub views had the most amazing panorama of the city. In SoHo there's lots nearby-- W. Village, Union Sq, C-town, Nolita & Little Italy makes this the perfect location. Pet friendly. The staff address you by name making it a personal experience. The bedding was freshly laundered, the rooms clean, best of all, the lights and drapes automatically open/close  with the touch of a button. Check out the fitness center and the rooftop/outdoor pool.  If you happen to be up at the crack of dawn, line up for a  cronut at Dominique Ansel down the street. ..or not. The DKA is still pretty delectable to try.

We definitely enjoyed our stay immensely....one of the best hotels we have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

If you like sushi, don't forget to try Koi!

Stayed here after our wedding. Beautiful location, very attentive staff and high class end to end. Tiffany was amazing, was able to make available the beautiful SoHi room for us to take magnificent pictures in, as well as set up a great room block for all of our guests.

Two issues:
- We had booked a room block on the same floor months in advance. Sadly, Denise blundered pretty badly and ended up giving away our bridal suite to another guest, which necessitated several back and forth phone calls the day before the wedding. In the end, the issue was resolved (we got our room back) with the help of the front desk staff. Thanks!
- The elevators are a disaster. Only 4 elevators for a hotel of this size creates enormous waiting time.

Apart from that, it's great!

I have stayed in the city many, many times yet this was the first time I ever stayed in the lower part of the city. For driving in from NJ the Holland tunnel experience, if you catch it off the main rush hours in the right direction during the week, is a joy. It is quick in and quick out -- the only problem coming in on a Friday at around 4:30 PM was navigating around the OUTGOING traffic while getting to the hotel.

The hotel is rather nondescript from the street and thankfully super easy to drive up to and get valet service for the car as you checkin. The lobby is somewhat small, the Koi restaurant is wonderful, and the bar / lounge experience -- at least we were told -- has no food service, which is a little odd in my book.

The room was actually an Inspirato room and was seamless checking in and getting settled into. With Inspirato WiFi was free and amazingly it was probably the fastest WiFi I remember having while away from home and office.

Trump being Trump means service is almost overdone. Housekeeping twice daily and another example if having an attache service in addition to the standard concierge service. What is attache vs. concierge? Well, attache is for any need you could imagine while IN the hotel whereas concierge is focused on any desire you have OUTSIDE of the hotel.

On a last note coming in late from the events of the TriBeCa film festival it was late enough for most easy options for food to be either closed or closing soon. Since room service is 24 hours a day and it was going to be my first meal of the day it was nice to stay in and unwind in the quiet of the room -- and I must say, even with the more limited 'late night' menu offering the room service food was exceptional and I really don't believe it was my late night hallucinations being starved and tired.

My first ever double Turkish Hammam experienced occurred at the Trump Soho in New York. Typically when I fly into New York I keep it low-key hit up some of the good restaurants and spend time with good friends. But this time I decided to hit up a Broadway show and at the same time splurge on a Turkish bath experience at one of the top hotels in the country the Trump in New York.

We decided to spend at least $400 on a pair of very intimate yet comforting and cleansing process is that you can do with the body. A typical Turkish  bath is performed in a group setting on a marble slap with several women in a sort've public bathing ritual in Turkey. Thankfully, everything was upgraded in your typical New York fashion. My friend received a separate Turkish bath from a gentleman or lady of his choosing. And in a separate area of the spa I was able to relax with a female aesthetician.

She was very qualified, and did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable without any clothes on. The entire experience was well worth the money. Keep in mind, if you have done an actual bath in Turkey, you will get a stranger who will touch your private areas that you clearly do not want touched.

Thankfully in the United States, there isn't anything close to that problem. Which is why if you compare the two rituals they are completely separate and different entities. So if you want to splurge over $400 for an intimate session and share it in a relaxation room with a nice glass of wine and slippers overlooking the formal World Trade Center site, then the Trump Soho in New York is your top choice. Also, ditch the Broadway tickets and go back for a another spa session if you can.
