Olde Rhinebeck Inn in Rhinebeck, NY

We offer distinctive accommodations in an authentic historic Hudson Valley farmhouse just 3.5 miles outside the quintessentially charming village of Rhinebeck New York.

Established in 1998.

Although Jonna Paolella may have been one of the youngest innkeepers in America when she opened the Olde Rhinebeck Inn, her experience in the industry has hardly been short lived. From the age of seven, owning her own inn has been her dream.
Jonna acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/ Hospitality, she then worked for a historic hotel in La Jolla, California, the prestigious, private dining University Club in San Diego followed, then returned to the east coast to run her mother's B&B in Brooklyn, helping to successfully make it one of America's busiest inns.
A slower pace beckoned her to the Hudson River Valley, with its rich history, beautiful landscape and architectural diversity. At 27, she acquired this very special building in April 1998, renovated that spring and opened for business that same summer.
Deriving pleasure from the details, this natural, relaxed and gracious young host will ensure your stay at the Olde Rhinebeck Inn to be one you wish to repeat.

what a great spot.  i like b&bs in theory but often find them a little too cutesy and precious, and that they tend to sacrifice comfort and amenities in the name of rustic antiquiness....but this one is pretty much perfect, just the right balance of modern amenities (jacuzzi tub, great water pressure, premium cable and streaming netflix, in room fridge, etc) and country cuteness that isnt saccharine.  awesome bed, great pillows, spacious room and bathroom.  the proprieter is really nice and had very good instincts for how much we wanted to talk and how much we wanted to go be alone in our room.  she was really lovely, pleasant and comfortable to talk to, and went the extra mile to make my boyfriend a breakfast that fit his restricted diet (i sadly had to leave before breakfast so i cant comment on it but i have a feeling it was dope.)  this place is spendy but i think totally worth it.  highly recommended!!

My boyfriend and I came here for a post Valentine's day one-night getaway and this place was perfect.  It is an old farm-house from the 18th-century with plenty of modern luxuries like satellite tv, nice comfy robes, and wifi.  Oh yes and a fridge filled with local root beer and Fresca. And a little welcome treats of oranges, bananas, and chocolate -covered strawberriesThe atmosphere has a  quaint and rustic charm with four poster beds and plenty of antiques.  It is perfect for a winter getaway.  It is a few miles from town but its quiet location is quite nice.
The innkeeper was quite friendly and helpful.  She had good recommendations of what to do and cooks a fierce breakfast. Her breakfast is definitely a reason to come back.   Fresh fruit, eggs, homemade cornbread, an amazing fruity filled german pancake, good coffee, and concord grape juice.  Yum!  She is also incredibly tolerant.  I would have given some mean stares to some of the self-righteous Upper East Siders turned Brooklynites (thanks for ruining my borough) and their pretentious kids eating breakfast with us.  Anyone who can deal with that is alright in my book!
Only a couple of hours from NY, this is a great getaway!

We just returned home to Portland, OR from our 1st vacation in the Hudson River Valley and spending 3 nights here to celebrate our anniversary  - it was the BEST ever and we would give Jonna the owner and the Inn a 10+ for a wonderfully perfect time!  The Inn is rated in the top 10 B and B's in the USA and deserves every bit of this rating. From the the beautiful 1700s house, cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated - it is really a home away from home. Our room was lovely and big with a private bathroom.   Jonna took such great care of us, met us at the door and greeted us by name.  We have lovely breakfasts and she was careful to offer great advise re dinner spots and must see locations. We intend to go back and will certainly recommend it to friends!  The Hudson River Valley, Rhinebeck and the Inn made this one of our best vacations ever - thank you!!!

Just returned today from a 2 night stay at the Olde Rhinebeck inn for our 10 year anniversary. The inn is beautiful- very cozy old home. But it has been updated and has all the modern amenities while still keeping all the original charm.  We stayed in the plow and harrow room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. Big claw foot tub and double shower.  Cindy, the innkeeper, was awesome. Went out of her way to  make us our own breakfast on Saturday morning because we had to be out of the house early that morning. And also arranged for a couples massage in our room. Willow, who also works as the inn,  was one of the masseuses and was great. Cindy made us feel at home and was so friendly....and a great cook. All the 5 star reviews for the inn are well deserved.  Definitely worth a trip to stay and relax at the Olde Rhinebeck inn. You will not regret it.  We plan to return again.

I usually don't review when I agree with all previous reviews but this place was so special I had to add to the wonderful reviews.  So many nice touches.. plate of cookies, fruit and candy on arrival,  complimentary beverages in frig,  shelf with outlet to charge devices, Newsletter on table with local restaurants and attractions, Keurig in hallway.  But what I loved were the breakfasts and the wonderful conversation at the breakfast table.  Interesting nice people and Jonna usually joined us.  Can't wait to go back!

Just wrapping up our second stay at OIde Rhinebeck Inn and cannot thank innkeepers Jonna and Cindy enough for their kind hospitality and warm welcome.  We chose to come back to the inn for our anniversary and spend two nights -- we feel like we escaped the world.  The inn is beautiful, the suites are perfectly appointed and charming as anything.  The breakfasts are superb and the best part is the personal attention shared by Jonna and Cindy.  It is obvious that they love what they do and they do it so well.  If you have a chance to visit the Hudson River Valley, do yourself a favor and stay here.

It is what a bed a breakfast is supposed to be. Immaculate room, super friendly and competent staff, comfy room and bed, breakfast is sumptuous and prepared better than my mom or wife ever did---or me for that matter. It is well located and blissfully quiet. With only four rooms you are indeed a guest in a friend's home. I'd stay here any time and recommend it. And, I am a very picky eater.

I thought I wrote a review on this place but I guess it was on tripadvisor, not yelp.   We enjoyed our two night stay here in the Deer Hill room.  We had a chance (friendly guests) to see the other rooms on the day of check-out and all of them were equally charming.  The rooms were a balance of rustic colonial and yet modern clean.   The owner was away while we where there, but Triona took excellent care of us.  The breakfast was awesome.  Would definitely recommend this place!

The only con would probably be a small parking area which is not their fault?  If a guest takes up too big of a space, then you're stuck without a space.  It happened to us late one evening.

We also had a chance to check out the apple blossom cottage which is about a mile or so away but part of the Inn's management.  It was a very cute one bedroom cottage.  They stock the fridge with eggs, bacon, milk, and leave a tray of breakfast pastries.
