Modern, thoughtfully designed with attention to details. Karin, the manager makes the place alive; Hotel Dylan offered such a beautiful experience. Everything was just right, a heavenly bed, a modern and cozy interior, and a fire pit outside!

We can't say enough!!! Karen want out of her way for us...she made special accommodations related to our special circumstances, we were so impressed with her graciousness. We checked in early (assistant manager, Elijah, was friendly and professional) to a fun and beautifully appointed room in what has to be the best reno of a motel ever. Great sleep, post my husbands LATE concert appearance in Woodstock. Will return, for sure.

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended! I had my wedding in Woodstock and we blocked off the rooms for our guests. The hotel management was kind, helpful, and sweet and SO accommodating. My guests went crazy for the hotel. Seriously, the flawless design, the perfect location, the super high comfort level-- everything was on point. I got so much positive feedback from everyone who stayed here. I'm really grateful to the Hotel Dylan crew, and would absolutely suggest this place to any and all as a perfect jump-off point to explore the Woodstock area.

If I could give this place an extra star, I certainly would.  Wow....they've thought of everything....including sound cancelling "white noise" machines, great flatscreen premium cable TVs, free WiFi, complete C.O. Bigelow amenities, outdoor firepits, well decorated, and CLEAN!  The hotel manager is wonderful and the beds were crazy comfortable.  The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are huge!  AND you can use the gym across the street gratis.  We brought our own records and played them on the Crosley turntable (one in each room!).  We will definitely be back and would recommend staying here without hesitation.

If you're looking for a Hamptons or North Fork alternative getaway consider heading to the Hudson Valley Region and particularly the Hotel Dylan in Woodstock, NY!

My mom and I discovered this newly opened gem when we decided to plan a last minute weekend getaway from the NYC area.

The hotel was designed by the famous Novogratz design duo. The rooms feature unique furnishings with a retro vibe. Original photos taken at the Woodstock festival in 1969 line the walls and each room features a record player.

Each room is well appointed with comfy beds, a keurig, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, and a fridge. The hotel features free WiFi and I was pleasantly surprised that the wifi signal and cell service was perfect throughout my whole trip (I heard it could be spotty in the area).

We enjoyed an evening lounging around their outdoor fire pit and watching "The Last Waltz" with other guests over wine and snacks. It was very relaxing and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

They plan to open a spa and a gastropub style restaurant with a live music performance space on the property soon. I definitely plan to return and to bring friends for a girls getaway and my husband for a romantic weekend away.

Definitely check it out!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Dylan for a night. We stayed during the week so the hotel was very quiet but the staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel is a quick 10 min drive to the main shopping section of Woodstock and fairly close to Kingston. The rooms were clean and BEAUTIFUL and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in upstate New York.

Hotel Dylan was awesome, will definitely be back there this summer. Stayed in "The Band" suite this past weekend with a couple friends for - appropriately - a Midnight Ramble Saturday night. The room was extremely comfortable and modern with cool retro touches, and the manager, Karen, really went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of.

After the show that evening, we hung out by the fire pits with some beers and met a number of other concert-goers who were also guests. You can tell they are really trying to create a community hub with the hotel and it already succeeds - I imagine it will only get better when the restaurant out front opens up (supposedly in a couple of months). Hotel Dylan will definitely be the launching pad for all my future stays in the Woodstock area.  Could not recommend more strongly!

We had a great time at the Hotel Dylan.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished - and all the little amenities were great - like the modern bath, super comfy beds and on and on.

It was much easier than expected to get around as well to all of the places that we were looking to visit - just a few minutes into Woodstock, and surrounding towns.

100% chance that we will stay here again.

I stayed at Hotel Dylan as a getaway from city life this past weekend and couldn't have chose a more perfect place. I had read about it in Vogue's Guide to Woodstock (by go-to for fashion so why not for travel) and they happened to be really really right. From the top design from the famous Bravo TV show design team to the location close to town and across the street from the gym to the manager Karen who is delightful it was the best place around.

The room had a record player with records from the Woodstock times, board games, a fridge and a ginormous king west elm gorgeous bed. It was just renovated this past year so everything was brand new and they even had CO Bigelow soaps (great soaps and west elm hippie chic designed rooms) they had me at Peace. #peacelovestay
