Based on the rankings on another review website that advises people on their trips (ahem), this Comfort Inn is the #3 hotel in Claremore, Oklahoma. The #1 hotel is a place called "Claremore Motor Inn," and the #2 hotel is a Super 8.
Yeah. I know.
If you were a low-maintenance sort of person, you might be able to overlook the fact that the property is a bit on the old side; the location really close to the train tracks (train tracks that are being used by loud trains, mind you); the smaller-than-a-breadbox bathroom; and the thin walls. You might even appreciate the reasonably comfortable beds; the super friendly staff; the fact that they have hard boiled eggs amongst their free breakfast options; the in-room microwave and refrigerator; and possibly even the Walmart next door with the Subway in it.
If you were a high-maintenance sort of person, you might want to stay in Tulsa.

The good: clean rooms, Comfortable bed, free wifi
The bad: the free breakfast. I know it's free and I shouldn't have been so picky, but the hot food was microwaved, even the eggs. They tasted terrible. The person working had her teenager and their friends hanging out in the lobby which I though was unprofessional.

This place really isn't that bad if you just want a place to sleep. It isn't that great either, so it just depends on what your needs are. The bed was clean and was a decent level of comfortable. The carpet, chair, and ottoman were very stained. The bathroom is tiny (to the point where it's hard to get the toilet paper because it's so close to you). The toilet and shower are in one room and the sink is part of the sleeping area. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, safe, flat screen tv, and an iron. There is a tiny outdoor pool if that's your thing. Check in and check out was fast and easy. You will hear trains every few minutes, but it's Claremore, so you'll hear the trains no matter where you stay. For $70, I think it's fine.
Also, there's a Rib Crib and McDonnald's in the parking lot, so you can grab a snack without moving your car if you want.

We were in town to visit family so we weren't in the hotel much, but its a Comfort Inn, not a grand resort after all. You are there to sleep really.
The staff were all very friendly from the desk clerk to the breakfast staff.
Our room was clean, though aging a bit. The two queen beds were fairly comfortable, and the room was very good sized. The fridge and microwave were nice to have. The bathroom though? You don't have room in there to turn around. Its teeny! They do try to make up for it with one of those shower curtain rods that bend outwards, and it works quite well.
The pool is outdoors, and not terribly large. It's fine to throw the kids in there if you'll stay there anyway, but I wouldn't consider it a selling feature to the property. The breakfast room was teeny-tiny so I'd worry if a large group came through, but it was immaculate. They had your standard fare: cereal, bagels, yogurt, a waffle maker. I tried one of the pastries and it was a bit stale, but everything else was just fine.
The laundry facilities consisted of one old washer and one old dryer, each requiring $1.50 for a cycle, sitting next to the vending machine on the first floor. One one hand, they suited our needs just fine (we only had two loads to do and our room was just up the stairs from the machines so very convenient). On the other if you had lots of loads to do, or there were many people there wanting to do a load, I could see that being a pain. There is no place to sit next to the machines, so you couldn't really babysit your laundry if you wanted. The breakfast room is just down the hall so you could hang there I suppose. There did look to be a couple of rooms very close by so if you didn't want to listen to the noise (you were only supposed to use them between 6am and 10pm, but still...) I would make sure to get a room far away from there.
There is a Rib Crib and McDonalds within walking distance. You are on the edge of what appears to be the main drag in town, so lots of other options are a quick drive away.
Overall, a decent hotel that I'd stay at again.
