I had low expectations of this place and they weren't low enough. Outside it looked straight out of a horror movie and inside isn't any better. Now I was expecting the Ritz Carelton but I was expect a bed young than I am, more than two feet between the two beds and not being able to hear the trucks ACROSS the street. It claimed to have wi-fi  but we had irregular service and they did nothing to remedy the situation.

I called around before the long Memorial Day weekend to find a good deal on a hotel. This place told me that they were giving me 9% off because I was going to stay for 3 nights.

Upon arrival, the guy at the front desk (I think he is the owner) was rude and had informed me that there were no discounts given for multiple-night stay. I insusted that the reason I was staying there was because of the discount (at this point, we are talking about $20 difference). He kept repeating himself and rolling his eyes at me...

Finally, he realized that I was going to leave (believe me, there are plenty other places in town to stay) and gave me the room with 9% off.

After my stay there, I received a survey and told them what I thought. They e-mailed me back calling me cheap and a liar...and told me they don't want me to set my foot on their property...

Other then that, the room was great - comfortable bed and many TV channels. I had good parking, continental breakfast (bagels and pastry, cereal, coffee), and the heated pool was very nice.

Wow, compared to the sketch-ball shit-show going on in Grant's Pass, this place looks pretty good.  It's apparently the only hotel in town that isn't constantly prowled my the meth addicts.  They gave me a place to park my car and trailer so I could watch it, and a good room with a window to watch it from.  The shower was clean, and hot, the beds were standard motel, and the wi-fi worked.  I enjoyed my mints at the reception and got the fuck out of there.  I have no intention of visiting Grant's Pass again, and will this part of I5 next time I have to drive from California to Washignton, but Travelodge got me through it, and unlike the other Motel's I asked, were actually honest about what a meth addled shit hole this place was.

Clean stop. Good rates, takes dogs, efficient staff. Stopped in at 5 am and let us negotiate a later check out so we could rest a little longer in the morning.

Just passing thru. Stayed for one night. Room was clean and priced right. Continental breakfast sucked. Fridge and microwave in the room. Grabbed a book with a coupon from a reststop that was accepted, which was nice. Figured there would be some reason would not be able to use it, but no questions were asked. They do charge $1.50 for a safe charge that is refundable if you don't use the safe, but I don't think if you noticed it on the form you sign when you check in you would get it back unless you asked.

This place was a life saver and like Ian C., I thought it was a great place to stay with  a clean room, hot showers and at least my bed was a good firm bed.  I've slept in worse worn out beds at better star hotels.  If you are looking for a place to sleep that's clean, quiet and friendly with a simple breakfast, this is THE perfect place for it.  I've called around to a couple of other hotels like the Comfort Inn and found their rates to be higher.  I went to this place with my family (with little kids) during a stormy night on my travel down south and decided to stay here again as we came back up north.

It's just off of I-5 and so it was nice that we didn't have to drive miles to get in.

It isn't big, so if you are looking for a spacious place to stay, better pay more and find another place.  But for a clean place to sleep and be charged for the next day's long drive, this place was perfect!!!  :)

This place is fine. You're not paying very much to stay, so what do you expect? The employees were nice, the rooms were clean and had a huge bathroom - the only thing I was surprised to see was that there was no iron or ironing board. Random thing to not have in a room, but noticeable as I really needed one that day. :(

Whatever the case is, I felt safe here and I didn't have to pay too much to get a good night's rest. Would definitely stay here again if I were needing a place in the same area.

Not usually one to complain. But... I think I slept maybe 1 1/2 hours all night, due to the uncomfortable beds, other guests coming and going all night (walls are paper thin), and the stinky smell of the room. Only reason it got 2 stars is because we were able to get a room last minute. Now I now why though. Continental breakfast was weak. And we got there early too.

No sheer window coverings means the windows are either open for the world to see in or the room is dark all the time. No thermostat means the ac/heater is either on or off, so you are either too hot or too cold, you will never find comfortable.  The maid only comes by once, we happened to be there but told her we'd be leaving in less than 5 minutes,  which we did. When we came back 7 hours later our room had never gotten tidied or even new towels. On the other hand staff was helpful, the water pressure was great and I only paid $55 a night for 2ppl.

It was unusual circumstance in our case. We were traveling through so we booked a Hells Gate boat ride but due to 2013 fire that was huge for weeks in their area and covered a big portion of Oregon.  It was not healthy to to breathe in the air at that time. Our boat ride got cancelled due to smoke from fire so there wasn't a reason for us to stay at Travelodge anymore. We tried to talk to the management about the fire and why we couldn't stay but the front desk person didn't let us talk to the manager , they just cared about charging our credit card and we didn't even stay there for the night. Costumer service is definitely not their priority but taking your money is.
Rude management, desk person is not helpful at all.
I would not recommend this place.

Old and tired hotel.  My non smoking room had horrible circulation and smelled like a mixture of blue cheese and BO.  Sheets on the bed in dire need of replacing, there were spots of mold in the shower and overall the room was pretty dirty.   The only saving grace was the staff seemed fairly nice.  We paid $100 to stay here and would never ever come back.

Oh and the coffee pot was stained and dirty with an old crusty used coffee bag in it that looked like it had been there since Carter was President.

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Terrible! Never again. I should have  known considering the stars given, but we were just passing theough and needed a stop. We would have been better off in the car.

On my drive back from San Francisco to Seattle, I just needed a clean room to sleep in for the night. I found the motels in Medford to be a bit too expensive and it was worth driving a bit north to Grants Pass. This place was currently $59 a night ($64.90 w/tax) and was a clean and cozy room with cable tv too. It was perfect for a decent night sleep and I would recommend it on a budget!

Very disappointed. Key had to be tried several times to get it to work.  Bed, hard and springy. Floor was dirty.
Breakfast sucked. Stale bread, old slices of orange, one choice of cereal which had cereal spilled on the counter not cleaned up, no fruit, just overall bad.
Will never stay at Travelodge again.

4 stars for clean and friendly. Sure, it's not a Hlton, etc but great value for the price and happy to still have hotels that will accommodate pets.  We slept very well and were ok not having all of the extra amenities that the more expensive places normally have.
