Great hotel for the money. I have stayed here a couple of times and all good. Ask for rooms away from highway.

I reserved this hotel online before going to Hershey World a month in advance in May as were there in late June ($80 with taxes for one night kind with pull out couch.  When I finally got there from a 5.5 hour drive, the hotel wasn't anything much on the outside, and the maid was smoking out front right by our vehicle, and after we asked her to stop due to asthma problems, she kept on going.  I went in to check in, and liked the entrance, renovated and all, the kitchen looked like a good breakfast would be served from there.  My GF was upset at the reviews and treatment at the door, so after we went in and noticed that the advertised jacuzzi was no longer working, we addressed our concerns with Rhoda, the (sales person?) on site as well as the attendant.  She asked what she could do, and said that the advertisement may have been old and the reviews older since they renovated the hotel and that the jacuzzi was no longer being advertised.  There free WIFI was worse than my Sprint 3g connection.  The side that faced the highway kept my GF up all night.

We went up to the room, which was clean, big by most comparisons, and the bathroom was clean and big also.  The frigerator was clean and cold, but awkwardly placed, and the flat screen TV was worse in picture quality than my tube TV at home.  We ordered from American Pie (Great, great food and deals - Stromboli to die for, 50 plump wings) and it was delivered right after the Direct TV went out for 2 hours from the rain storm.  Then the toilet got plugged up, and I called to get someone to fix it.  At apx 9:15, the lady who checked me in told me she was the only one at the hotel and that I had to walk down to the front and get the plunger from her!!!  Kids playing in the pool unattended, a woman in charge of over 50 rooms late at night on her own, no maintenance on hand and ATTITUDE.  "I do this all the time" as if this was ok service and I paid to plunge my own toilet...

In the morning, we asked Rhoda what she would do, but because of the pre order online, she had to call corporate.  She supposedly tried and tried, but no one answered after us waiting for an answer for 1.5 hours.  My GF went to her again, but she's not a manager, so she couldn't refund us or give a free night.  We called corporate furious and they called the office and spoke with her.  She first offered 5,000 points and no refund, we called again and they called her.  Then we get word back through corporate that she would give us $20 that day, but the remaining refund would have to be mailed to me.

We then met another family who had a bashed in TV, a rocky toilet and they had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, but no refund was issued.

THE KICKER... that family had stayed there previously a year prior and received a letter from Pennsylvania board of health that Legionnaire's disease was found in the water that serviced that hotel... and area.

PLEASE, book somewhere else for the safety of your health and sanity.

We stayed at Comfort Suites in Grantville, PA and this hotel was a surprise. The rooms are extremely spacious and some rooms have a jacuzzi. I had two king size rooms, one jacuzzi, one regular king. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and a extra blanket in the closet. The bathrooms are regular bathrooms, but it's clean. You also have a microwave and mini-fridge.

The hotel offers breakfast in the morning between 6:30am -9:30am, but the best thing about this hotel is the pool and the public jacuzzi. The customer service is great, but opt not to have a room near the highway; you will hear trucks all night long. They also have HBO and they offer free internet!

Great for the money - I will be back.

There is no greater truth then: "You get what you pay for" when reviewing this Comfort Inn.  We ventured here to meet some friends and the negatives definitely outweigh the positives.  The wifi connection is very poor, the TV reception was not too good and when I tried calling the front desk around midnight and no one ever picked up the phone!  Let's see...now the positives...  The bed was pretty comfortable, I opted for the jacuzzi suite and it worked fine and it was nice being able to have breakfast in the hotel...  The coffee was good too.  The bottom line is that my negatives didn't affect the fun time I had with our group proving that it ultimately doesn't matter where you stay if you're still able to have a few laughs.

This was probably the worst hotel experience I've had.  I don't actually have anything pleasant to say about the stay...

We arrived to the hotel, dropped off our keys, bags, etc. then walked to a nearby restaurant (at the Holiday Inn).  When I came back, I grabbed the door (waiting for my fiance to get the key out), but it turns out we didn't need the key because it opened right up!  We told the desk and she said that the maids must have accidentally left it unlocked.  We had everyything in the room, so I was pretty angry about that.

It was late so we went to the vending machines to get water...turns out, you can only get soda from the vending machine.  Soda costs $1 which it will accept, but water was $1.50 and you couldn't put that much change or $2 in.  They were out of water at the front desk as well.

By this point I'm aggrivated and ready for bed...  Talk about disgusting!  I didn't sleep at all because there were blood stains and misc. other stains all over the comforter.  I never sleep with comforters near my face since I know they aren't washed as much as the sheets, but there was no way I could sleep anywhere near that comforter!  I don't know how that is acceptable.  We took pictures of it as well, which I wish I could share within this review.

I would not suggest visiting this hotel at all.  If unlocked rooms and disgusting comforters are acceptable, I don't even want to know what else is.  Extreme waste of my money.

Skip this place. It's amazing how lazy people can be, especially in the hospitality business! We asked to buy soap for laundry, they were out and suggested we use shampoo. Really? We asked what the staff used to wash sheets and they said soap was built into the machine. Also, I asked for a banana since I missed the breakfast (I posted a picture of the "friendly" sign). The lady who was cleaning/chatting on a personal call told me that there would be no more bananas until tomorrow morning. I guess that's when the banana man stops by? The lady at front desk was also on a personal call. Do these folks ever travel?

Rooms were better than I expected.  More room than I had anticipated.  Had a little couch and sitting area and the couch was a sofa bed.  Free breakfast o6:30-9:30 am for the entire room.  No hassles whatsoever.  The only thing is that the waffle maker machine has a very long line at times.  But who doesn't love dough in the morning! : )

Parking was also FREE so that was a big savings considering some hotels charge a lot per night.

No frills here but we were only there to sleep and nothing else so it worked out great for us.  Plus I got a great deal on Hotels.com to make this reservation!

It was about 7 miles from our destination but that wasn't far at all and the drive was actually very pleasant through the town!
