NOTE - The information contained herein is tempered somewhat by the apology email I received from the manager which shows their commitment to improving the service. It will be worth trying again to see if these concerns were addressed.
Having stayed here in the hotel's previous incarnation as the Sheraton Four Points, I was looking forward to at the very least, good service, good food, and clean rooms.
This visit did not go well. From the moment we arrived the front desk had difficulty with our reservation and the young girl was less than polite about it. We were supposed to have first floor rooms (the hotel has no elevator) but were given second floor ones instead. One of the rooms had broken ceiling tiles which looked ready to fall and the other had water stains on the ceiling. There was dried blood or stains on one of the sheets and the first day we received no housekeeping until we begged for it at 8:00 p.m. Then they came and just swapped out the towels, not even addressing the sheet issue or turning down the beds. The next day, again we had to beg for housekeeping and felt put out by the housekeeping manager who was short with us and made it seem like our fault they hadn't gotten to us yet. (this is a 2 story hotel and there should not be such a problem.)
We did get a refrigerator from a very helpful staff member within minutes of asking.
The fitness center has one treadmill, one eliptical and one bike and a single multi-purpose resistance machine. There was no TV remote. The sign in the gym offers complimentary one day passes to the full athletic club next door but when we asked at the front desk we were told the gym charges $5.00. I'm not cheap but I also didn't bring cash down to workout and chose not to use the club.
The restaurant is adjacent to a bar and shares a menu. The service at the restaurant was painfully slow. We waited over 1 hour for our food and then was told it was due to the fact we ordered from the dinner menu at lunch time. The menu says all day dining and does not indicate any delay or special dinner items. In addition, the one item from the dinner menu was a simple pasta and shrimp dish.
The next night we returned at 4:50, ten minutes before the restaurant reopened for dinner. I went into the bar to see about ordering food. The bar was somewhat crowded with wedding guests who arrived before the reception room was ready. There was only one bartender handling everyone. I asked for a menu and waited fifteen minutes before walking out due to the bartender forgetting the menu or to even ask if I wanted a drink. I looked in the restaurant as it was now 5:00 but there wasn't even a host to help me.
The bar does have live music and karaoke and the band we saw was better than expected. No cover for hotel guests.
Again, despite these issues, I was extremely pleased by the hotel's quick response to my comment card and indication these issues would be addressed. Here is hoping they take these comments seriously and the next visit is smoother.

It's nearly impossible to find a pet-friendly hotel in the area, and this one surpassed our expectations. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. AND THEY HAD ROOM SERVICE !!!! You can imagine what a god-send that is after a 10 hour drive! (the food was good too). Yes, the room could use an updating ..the striped wallpaper was a little too retro, and there were some minor wear-and-tear issues with the sheer drapes and rug. But I'm not going to nitpick. The in-room refrigerator was very useful, as was the microwave. The location was extremely convenient for our needs ( visiting family), close to restaurants and shopping, and over-all made for a very pleasant stay. Thanks!

Ended up staying again the following week due to business in town and it was just as good as the first time. Definitely don't pass up the complimentary breakfast, it's delicious and worth going!
