First, let me say that pre-Yelp, I stayed at this hotel, and it was acceptable.  That was a few years ago.  Fast forward to December 2011.  Overpriced, dirty, noisy dump!  Our "non-smoking" room happened to be on the same floor as at least some smoking rooms.  Stunk!  The room (#206) was badly in need of renovation, but wait....there's more.....it was badly in need of being cleaned as well.  Mold (or some other science experiment was growing on the wallpaper, there was some foreign liquid (since dried) that had run down the walls.  There was a small chunk of carpet missing.  Oh, and who could forget the drywall repair in the ceiling that appears to have been done by a third grader....and the icing on the cake.....cigarette burns on the bathroom counter.  I'm never staying in this sewer again!

Stayed here for 2 nights, its an ok Hotel. The workers in the morning are friendly but the guy at the front desk at night was kinda spacey, was a little more into the TV than my questions.

however the room was nice. the smell that was in the lobby was not in my room.

right in the middle of the road of places I've stayed

Oh and the room i was in had a Jacuzzi in it!

The beds and staff are nice. The continental breakfast is good. This is the best $100-ish per night hotel I've been to in Pittsburgh..

I am pleasantly surprised with this hotel.  Its out of the way but the rooms are clean and look nice.  The have microwaves and refrigerators in them.  I expected it to be sketchy but its not at all.

The only bad part I've noticed is that some of the areas smell heavily of smoke (like the elevator)

But for the price, I don't think there is better deal.

I stayed here a couple of nights and was really pleased with the hotel.

It's in a suburb of Pittsburgh about half way between the airport and downtown.  I thought it was a pretty nice area.  There's a Primati Bros. just down the road, within walking distance.  There's a big shopping area nearby with a huge supermarket, LA Fitness, and numerous restaurants and a cinema.

The best part of the hotel was that the rooms were clean and quiet.  There was no noise at night to interrupt my sleep.  I appreciated the coffee maker in the room, the microwave, and the refrigerator.  I wanted to buy part of my meals from markets rather than eat out all the time, and the refrigerator and microwave came in handy.  There also was free wifi that was good quality, and the TV had loads of channels and a clear reception.

I had a problem with getting overcharged and not getting the Booking.com rate on my reservation, but after I wrote to the hotel they corrected the problem and issued a credit.

There is nothing fancy here with this hotel, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep in a decent area and that is also convenient both to the city and the airport, this is a good bet.
