Cute place, good location near to Charleston but a fraction of the price. Rooms are clean, updated with spacious bathrooms (we had a king room) comfy bed/ linens, loved the Keurig. Renovations going on but you only notice it out front. One thing they needed was a full length mirror in the room...a must have folks!! Oh and we were under the impression we would get a $15 voucher for their breakfast buffet but we only got a $5...although we ended up finding the best diner down the road so it worked out.

Just stayed at this hotel. The remodel is beautiful! The price is very reasonable for everything you get. The pictures are accurate in depicting what the remodeled rooms like. It's 10/15 minutes from downtown Charleston where we spent most of our time. You won't be disappointed!

Just finished a four day stay and loved it. Jr. Suit was large and comfortable with a great bed. Hotel was still under construction but it didn't effect anything. Staff was helpful and nice. The location is easy to get to and very convenient to both downtown and Kiawah island.

This hotel looks nice & all, but it's just been remodeled. It'll starting wearing down quick. First off, I called to ask if they provided portable cribs (pack'n'play) and the receptionist seemed to have no clue what I was talking about.( FYI every hotel we've stayed in, even low-end, has them nowadays). When we got there to check in i asked again & different lady, but same response. Said she'd look into it, but never heard back.
Signs all over saying we are a"green" hotel and to put towels you want replaced on floor or in tub. We did neither & they replaced all just as any place would.
Lastly, the breakfast Buffett, YUCK. We had it on weekday & weekend(more stuff on weekend) and where to begin. Menu says fresh fruit, ummm more like fresh out of a can. The weekend buffet had "fresh" not very good grapes, melon & grapefruit along with the canned crap & it was not much better. As well as cottage cheese & stewed prunes so you can guess who the target crowd is. If you're looking for anything "light" good luck. Bread, potatoes, & meat is all you'll find here. No cold cereal, no yogurt. Asked for hot tea & I get lipton's which is prob what they use to make their iced tea. Can't believe people come for the buffet that aren't staying at the hotel & lots of them. Oh yeah & both mornings the host was busy texting as we walked in. We were given restaurant vouchers for every day we were there since hotel was still under construction. We didn't even use them all. Can't speak for any other meals, all we had was breakfast.
Bottom line, new clean reasonably priced place to stay if you don't mind being 5-10 drive from downtown charleston, but skip the breakfast buffet!!!!!

I can only talk about our room because we stopped there just for the night and left right away the next day, but I wished I had more days there.

We were in Charleston for the long memorial weekend, mini road trip and just had one day in the area. We had no reservation and when we started looking for a hotel room everything was packed.
There were tons of people there that weekend and I don't even know at how many hotels we stopped.
This was recommended from another hotel that was full and the lady said they still had a couple of rooms. We drove there as fast as we could and they only had 2 Jr. suites.
Not much of an option, and it wasn't really expensive, we needed a bed, so we took it.

This room was beautiful, big and clean and spacious and fabulous and everything looked new. And there was marble and a beautiful glass shower, and a jet tub in between the bathroom and the bed. And the bed was huge and comfy and the comforter was about 10,000 lbs heavy so you went to sleep and it would not let you get up haha!!!

All in all, it was a fantastic room!!!

This is a lovely hotel and when the renovation project is complete, it will be a real stunner!  Located just off the south end of I-528 and about 10 minutes from downtown Charleston, this place is a hidden jewel!  And a a real bargain.

Our room was gorgeous, well-organized (a corner wet bar contains all the appliances: a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator), the closet has a sliding door and laptop safe.  The linens are lovely and the beds - dreamy!  A spacious walk-in shower separate from the bathtub compliments the bathroom.

There is virtually no traffic noise because the guest rooms are located behind the lobby, restaurant, and conference rooms. There is plenty of convenient parking and the property seems very secure.

Don't pass up the Sunday breakfast buffet.   It' is not included in the price of the room,  but worth the experience!

Finally, kudos to the hotel staff.  They are friendly, helpful, and were incredibly responsive.  Can't wait to stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful.  I would highly recommend it.  It is immaculate inside & out.  Their restaurant serves up a wonderful hot breakfast including made to order omlets, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, French toast, fresh fruit, fresh creamy yogurt  & I could go on & on.  On top of that, the restaurant couldn't be more lovely.  Book directly through the hotel to get breakfast vouchers.  All employees that we came in contact throughout our stay were warm & helpful & even go out of their way for you.  They also have a lovely pool.   We would definitely stay here again.  Classy place for the reasonable rates!

Very clean and pretty. Definitely a place you want to take someone you are trying to impress. Also great if you just like nice hotels. We got the Standard 2 Queen Bed room. The size of the room is good enough for a family of 3 or 4. There is a mini fridge and a microwave as well as a Keurig. There is a small closet and a safe. The bathroom is awesome. Bathtub could fit two skinny people. Separate walk in shower. Beds dont look queen size they look full size. That made me sad and is my only complaint.

Granted it is not  in a scenic area of Charleston but  this hotel was fantastic AND a great bargain too. Charleston is an expensive place and that makes this hotel an even better bargain. I second all the positive reviews of the facilities. Really pretty place with nice sized rooms. Can't comment on the food since we didn't eat here. The staff was gracious too.

We just stayed here for 3 nights because our friends who were getting married in West Ashley recommended it. Typically we stay in the downtown, historic area, but we decided to try something different this time.

We liked this hotel a lot; clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff and convenient location. There is a grocery store within walking distance and a mall and lots of restaurant options  (including Graucho's)  very close. For what you get, it is reasonably priced. However, it is obviously not the same experience as staying downtown; not too far away though.

4.5 stars. Great room--comfortable beds, very clean, nice amenities. We enjoyed staying 10 or so minutes away from downtown, historic Charleston (better priced) and it wasn't a bad drive both days of our two day trip. We came in on a Sunday around 2pm and the parking lot was packed (Sunday brunch buffet) but it cleared out not too long after. The only downside was the indoor gym. The setup was really weird and it was difficult to impossible to watch the TV while running on the treadmill. I'd definitely suggest the hotel rethink the gym setup, but that's a minor detail. There are some good restaurants nearby too that don't require you to go all the way into downtown. I'd definitely stay here if I go to Charleston again.

I have stayed here twice in the past year when in Charleston for business and was impressed both times with the quality of the hotel.  The hotel is a lot cheaper than the hotels in historic Charleston and only a 10 minute drive to MUSC.  If you book through the hotel website, you can get a voucher for breakfast or lunch at the hotel.  Breakfast is a buffet and the voucher covers it for one person - the buffet includes yummy fresh made pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, grits, potatoes, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc.
Both rooms are stayed in were incredibly nice and comfortable.  They have microwaves, refrigerators, and Keurig machines.  There's a Bi-Lo practically in walking distance.  The bathrooms in the hotel rooms are also very nice with a separate shower and tub and lots of space.
The first time I stayed back in the summer of 2013 they did not have a full length mirror in the hotel rooms but on this last trip they did - I think that was the only con on the first trip.
The front desk was friendly and helpful.  When I decided to end my work trip early due to winter weather issues, they were totally fine with me making the change the morning I was to check out.  I really appreciated this.

Visited Charleston for spring break and stayed at town and country. We chose them because of the good reviews and was not disappointed.  This hotel looks very nice. We asked for a double queen.  The room was roomy and one of the nicest we have stayed in.  All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. At first we thought the location was not going to be convenient but it was just fine.  About 5 miles from downtown. No trouble at all.

As we visited  downtown we realized parking was a challenge. So we were glad we did not stay in the city. The breakfast buffet is like fine dining. None of that cold  continental stuff other chain hotels offer. Everything was hot and southern. Reserve directly to get the daily $15 voucher which makes the breakfast free.

Like this place... less in price than some of the downtown places, but MORE bang for the buck.  Nicer rooms, bathrooms, amenities, etc.  Rates are very good and Dtown is only  a few miles away.  Plus guaranteed parking too.  We WILL be back.

Very often I have encountered less than impressive hotel accommodations, but the Town & Country far exceeded my expectations! I arrived for a fast-paced wedding weekend and was promptly greeted by a kind and cheerful staff member at the front desk. My room was clean, spacious and fully stocked with things I usually forget to pack (toiletries, mostly). The king bed was a comfortable, welcome sight!
The housekeeping staff made a point to say 'hello' in the hallways, and on the day I checked out the front desk graciously held my bags for four hours while I explored downtown Charleston. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of options as well. I will certainly stay here again.

If you don't want to pay the big bucks for staying in the historic district, this property is an excellent alternative.  Since it was recently renovated this place is like a shiny penny amongst dull tarnished coins.  The public areas are super clean and attractive.  The choice of colors and wood stains help to elevate the decor.

Had we stayed more than one night we may have looked into booking a suite.  But being in town for such a short stay, their standard King was very comfortable.  The bed was definitely slumber inducing, and the room surprisingly quiet considering the hotel was almost full.  It was a blissful night sleep.

We loved the separate tub and shower, and the fixtures and counter gleamed.  It was nice to have a small microwave, fridge and a Keurig in the room.  Ice was just down the hall.  In the courtyard area there was a small but attractive pool area and looked like a decent place to chill out after a day of sight seeing.

The $15 voucher we received upon check-in was used toward the $10.99/per person, weekend breakfast buffet.  It was a very nice spread, not like the ones found at competing properties.  You really had to be careful as there was so much to choose from....praline french toast, thick bacon, grits, sausage, pancakes, sausage gravy & biscuits, hash browns, oatmeal, muffins, fresh fruit, granola, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs,  etc.  The made to order station (only available on weekends) offered omelets and crepes.  Both had a nice selection of toppings and fillings, and both were skillfully prepared and very much enjoyed.  Nice having some jalapenos in your eggs to kick start the day.

All in all a big thumbs up.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at during all of my travels! Convenient to the airport and to the historic district, as well as to other sights, it is also close to many restaurants (three good BBQ places are nearby!) and stores (there is a grocery store right next door!), the room was large, clean and very comfortable, the staff were all friendly and accommodating.

The rooms have recently been renovated; ours was spacious, immaculately clean, the bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom and particularly shower were largest I've ever seen in a hotel.

Although the hotel is strictly non-smoking, we had an issue of cigarette smoke wafting into our room the first night. It seems to have come from outside, or maybe a staff break room? Either way, the front desk person was very apologetic, gave us an extra restaurant voucher and luckily the issue did not re-appear.

If you make a reservation through the hotel's website, you'll receive one $15 voucher per night's stay (not per person), which can only be used during a specified time frame (i.e. 3 nights, 3 vouchers, each of which can ONLY be used for dinner/drinks one night or breakfast the next morning). The Sunday breakfast buffet is a great deal at $13, and the weekday breakfast buffets are pretty good deals at $11 a person, although one can also order off the menu, as well.

We had an excellent weekend stay here! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is welcoming and nicely done. The rooms are clean and very homey! We had a junior king suite with an air bath tub. It was so relaxing!
We did enjoy breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel but if you enjoy room service they provide that option and the prices are very resonable!
I am so glad we chose this as our place to stay!

Hold the phone, I just went to a CVB event that was hosted at this hotel. We got a tour of the rooms and whoah this place is amazing! I'm definitely going to recommend to people looking to visit and stay near me in West Ashley. The event catering was delish; spanakopita, pimento cheese sandwiches, prime rib, goat cheese stuffed cherry tomatoes and in small but generous appetizer portions. Yum!!!!

What a posh place in west Ashley!

I had reservations here to stay for a Bachelorette weekend,  and the hotel was very cute and a little fancy,  but what you would also see typically in a hotel. The associates we very generous and greeted us very nicely. The front of the hotel looks very small, yet it expands to the back a bit farther than you would think, so it's very spacious. Shared a room that holds 2 queen beds and a bathroom with a tub and Walk in shower. The hotel has entrance and exit access from the sides of the hotel for convenience.  They also have a in-ground pool which is centered in the middle of the hotel,  but located outside like a courtyard.
They have a restaurant inside the hotel caked Trotters, they have a All-you-can-eat breakfast for $12.99.
Had a great experience here, just wished I could of stayed in Charleston, South Carolina a bit longer, the weekend went by too fast. Until next time!!!
