We needed a reasonably priced hotel that accepted pets, had an indoor pool and also served breakfast. La Quinta it was!  Upon check in, the manager, Lori, was very helpful and so friendly! They gave me the key to the room and a bag of treats for our dog.
My kids loved the pool, which is definitely indoors, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it heated. A whirlpool/hot tub would be a great addition.
The breakfast was a little less than I'm used to in mid-level hotels, there were no hot options other than do it yourself waffles and microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. I was also surprised that they didn't have water available at breakfast (cold, for drinking), though they did have coffee, hot cocoa, apple, orange and cranberry juices as well as a flavored water.
The breakfast attendant, Jim, was a very nice older man and my 3yo enjoyed speaking to him in the mornings.
We will stay again if we're in the area and need a dog friendly hotel.

My family and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn Knoxville Airport while on a trip to help my daughter find housing for a move to the University of Tennessee.  While the hotel is a 10 minute drive from the city, it is definitely worth it.  This hotel is a bit older, but has been totally remodeled.  Don't you just love a hotel that smells good! We heard no airport sounds, at all.  Our room was super clean, quiet and comfortable.  The bathroom was spotless.  Nice fluffy, soft towels.  The hot breakfast included , gravy, eggs, and the usual continental foods.  We got a room with two queen size beds and triple La Quinta points for $67.00. (with my professional organization discount) My only complaint would be trying to cross the traffic on Hwy 129 to get to the property.

The staff here was super friendly and welcoming. When I am in the area again I will definitely be staying here again. The room was clean and they had a nice selection of breakfast items.

My husband and I stayed there twice in the past few months for 6 days each time. While not a luxury hotel, I give it 5 stars for making great effort toward giving good value for the price. The rooms are like new, the beds are comfy and the towels are not the cheapest ones available. The location is convenient to the airport and highway toward all points but still quiet. The best feature is the staff. Everyone there makes more than a token effort to ensure their guests feel welcome and appreciated. More than just being polite and courteous, all the staff seems to be genuinely friendly. Highly recommended.
