Brand new from the look of it. Very clean and looks spectacular! I'd absolutely stay here again given the opportunity.

I stayed at the hotel two nights while in town for a wedding. Overall it was an great experience. The only complaint was the bed sheets weren't exactly clean. I couldn't tell if they were stained or if the bottom sheet wasn't fresh. Regardless, the rest of the room and hotel was spotless so I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

The hotel is very new and pretty and has nice furnishings. They are a bit on the modern side which I like. The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice amenities which are separated from the sleep/living space. The bathroom has a glass bowl sink which is neat and looks pretty until you actually use one. Just a design thing, not anyone's "fault." I've stayed at this hotel about 4 times now and the only thing that I don't like is the check in staff. I've never been to this hotel where the staff has been hospitable. The first time I visited the hotel, I had to wait for the desk man to finish his personal phone call in front of me before he checked me in. The second time, the girl never smiled, looked up or even cared that I was there. She seemed more interested in getting back to whatever she was doing. I actually felt like I was really bothering her. Other then that, the stay is nice, quiet and effortless.

If you take a slightly above average appearance and rooms with a slightly below average staff you'd have this hotel.  i tried to check in at 10pm on a Sunday night and no one was at the front desk.  After waiting 10 minutes (along with another customer), i had to call Holiday Inn customer service so they could page someone to the front desk to check me in.

Parking was plentiful and easy.  The breakfast buffet was on par with most small hotels and motels with average food and service.  The printer for boarding passes was jammed but i was able to fix it.  location is good with lots of food and a mall nearby.

in summary, nice appearance, average staff and food.

Just stayed here two nights while traveling for work.  My first thought when I saw the building as we drove up was, "wow... this looks brand new and very modern".  The hotel is just that - very nicely decorated on the inside with a contemporary look to it.  The gal who check us in at the front desk said the hotel was roughly two years old.

There were three of us, two of us in rooms on the third floor directly across from one another.  Unfortunately for us (and the reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 for this stay) there was a very large group of young men staying who behaved like fraternity boys having a blowout the first night of our stay.  Running up and down the halls, doors slamming every few minutes... I turned my AC down to try and drown out the noise.  It did not seem like the hotel tried to address this issue despite guest complaints.  So that is the worst part of the stay...

Staff - solid customer service, everyone was very polite.  Although on day two in the afternoon apparently this shorter young gentleman (who was a manager I believe) could not be bothered listening to my request to call a cab for the next morning for an early flight out.  He wrote it down but was very dismissive and made me feel as though I was burdening him by the request.  It occurred to me later I should have just set up my own Uber car service.  Thankfully the older gentleman who had worked the night shift later that night was SO accommodating and sweet and made sure that I had a cab at 6AM.  Hey, may not seem like much - but just one person perceived as rude can change an entire impression of a hotel where I am concerned.

The rooms where really VERY nice.  I was in room 313 and found it to be roomy, clean and nicely decorated.  The bed was comfortable as well.  AND despite what others have indicated the WiFi worked just fine on all of my devices.  LOVED the nice big walk in shower and roomy bathroom.  Nice little kitchenette area with a microwave, coffee maker and fridge were also in the room, although I only used the coffee maker.

Restaurant - we had drinks and some food our first night at the bar.  The gal working was super nice and took great care of us.  I would say to not expect anything gourmet here - but it is solid 3 star hotel level food.  We had appetizers - Quesadilla and Sliders... they were both items that appeared 'reheated' which tells me that maybe they don't have a full kitchen?  Particularly the sliders.  Both WERE good though - so not complaining, just pointing it out for those that don't like that sort of thing.  The other odd thing was she brought us napkins (now mind you at the tables there were nice cloth napkins) which were actually sink paper towels?  Not a nice touch at all.  It is nice to have a restaurant/bar in a hotel when you are traveling and this one did not disappoint, they just need to iron out a few things that can change a persons (like me) perception of the overall quality.

Would totally stay here again - super close to a really nice Starbucks and mall, proximity to my work facility was great.  Nice job Holiday Inn.

This holiday inn is in a perfect location. Next to Hamilton place mall with lots of places to shop and eat. And it's right off the main interstate so you can hop on it and drive downtown Chattanooga which is 15 minutes away.

This is a brand new hotel so everything was nice and clean.

The staff were very friendly and even took upon themselves to place us in a room further away from a baseball team so we wouldn't be interrupted during our stay.

The continental breakfast the next morning was good with many options including meats and fresh fruit.  I would stay here again.
