Great room.  Clean, comfortable, convenient location but a little far to walk from the aquarium. Very happy for the money we paid. Met our expectations.

We stayed two nights for a weekend away without the kiddos.   The front desk staff are  very friendly and welcoming.    So good to walk in, tired from a great day of sight-seeing to be greeted with a smile and a pleasant "hello."   The rooms are very clean and neat. The bathroom was spotless.   The hotel was full on Sunday night but we heard not a sound while trying to sleep.  And while we were facing a very busy road....we barely noticed the traffic sounds. They could use some new pillows however, but there were lots of them! The breakfast was just fine for that sort of amenity......but they need stronger coffee.   It was crowded so we enjoyed a cup of coffee in the room and then went down later and the tables and floors were clean and tidy and we ate after the crowds had gone to begin their days.  It is only 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown....a short ride to a $5/day lot and quick walk gets you to just about everything you want to see and do in Chattanooga.  They have a nice little exercise room and pool, but you are not far from a YMCA if you are a member where you live,  It is just a couple blocks away.  It is right off the highway so easy access to the Lookout Mountain area.   Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and sister in law drove up from Alabama to see the Tennessee Aquarium and stayed in this wonderful hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and staff was very professional. The rooms were large and very well maintained. They have an indoor pool that we floated in for the best part of two hours. Best part of the trip. Nice.

Close to downtown, comfy beds and pillows, roomy bathroom, clean room, lobby, breakfast area. Free breakfast was decent. Good for the price.

100% best holiday inn i've ever stayed at. a cut above most similarly priced hotels and even most hotels a tier up from holiday inn. Great staff, luxurious and comfortable rooms. This place is fantastic.

This hotel is relatively new (3 years old according to the front desk, non-smoking throughout), and it certainly feels that way, designed to be a modern hotel with duvet covers rather than wool blankets and flat panel TVs.  Pricing (free parking and very fast WiFi) is a little bit less than waterfront places, but you'll have to drive to get to the attractions and restaurants.  The staff was friendly and accommodated my room change request (2nd floor is street level, so get a 3rd floor or higher room).

The indoor heated saltwater pool is nice, and its big enough to swim short laps.  There's a small outdoor patio area, but you're facing solid walls without any views.  The gym has two newer treadmill, a bike, and an elliptical but no weights - free or machine.  There's on-site coin-op laundry facilities with detergent sold at the front desk ($3 total for one load).  Complimentary breakfast area/lobby felt like a cafe rather than a cafeteria and was well stocked including hot breakfast (eggs, sausages/bacon, biscuits), fruits, and a neat automatic pancake maker.

The hotel is next to a housing project, but it is very safe.  The area is not as nice as the waterfront area, but its definitely better than staying at the places near HWY 24.

What can I say; it's a Holiday Inn -- but it was a great stay.  Was only a short walk to the main drag downtown and a plethora of shops, dining locations, and other entertainment venus.

Nice room, bed and pillows were okay, slept the whole night through without hearing another guest or housekeeping.  Coffee was crappy, which would make it a two.  Bathroom was nice, which bumps it up to a three.

Only stayed here on the way home from a road trip.  Slept, showered, left. Good location to downtown Chattanooga, if you're spending time in the area.

Stayed here Thursday night & chose this hotel based on Yelp reviews. It did not seem to be as convenient  as most people said it was. I was hoping to walk to dinner, but having my mother with me (and her hurt foot) walking was not an option.
OK, back to the room... The room was spacious and looked clean upon arrival. However, when I pulled the covers back there was hair on my sheets..ewww...and the desk chair was stained with lord knows what??!! I put a bath towel down before I sat on it.  Pulled the blankets back on the other bed and it was hair free.
Walked down the hall to my mothers room and when I came back someone was trying to get into my room, the front desk booked them in the same room as myself..ha!
If I ever go back to Chattanooga  I will find more research and find a room closer to the "stuff to do" and pass this one by ;)
The staff was nice enough but seemed confused & breakfast was free and not horrible.

Service was slow...room had musty odor.  I've stayed here several times before and the rooms are usually pretty comfortable but this time I wasn't impressed with the service or the room.

I moved to Chattanooga from out of town and stayed here a few nights while I purchased a mattress and settled into my apartment.

Upon arrival I was welcomed by their staff at the desk.  They made the check in process hassle free and quick.  I then checked into my "suite" which was not exactly what I expected.  The living room and bedroom were only separated by a half wall so there is little privacy - if you were wanting that.

Overall, the stay was great.  After driving from california and staying at terrible hotels along I-80, it was very comfortable and relaxing.

Stayed here for one night only. Check in was very quick. The hotel was VERY clean and the staff was always cleaning. Great attention to detail. I stay at 5 star hotels more than most....never stayed anywhere less than the Bellagio in Vegas....and I'm OCD with cleanliness.

Breakfast was what you would expect, nothing great but the basics is all I need....fruit, yogurt, milk. Didn't touch the hot food. The coffee was just okay....but again, I won't base a review on Holiday Inn breakfasts.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable, pillows too.

I'm all about service and cleanliness....and for that I give this place 5 stars. Great staff.

4 cars broken into on our first night including mine.  Do not stay here.  Four cars were broken into and police were notified.  An employee told us that over one year since he's been there they have had probably 20 break in's!!!!!!  They just recently had security cameras installed.  Fenced in parking no on staff security.  Manager I must say was nice and accommodating over the issue.  Now stuck in Chattanooga waiting for replacement glass to arrive so can be installed and go home.

Beds weren't as comfortable as they could be but overall good experience. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They brought us extra towels and helped us find restaurants. Pool was smaller than expected but nice and clean. Not close enough to walk to aquarium w kiddos but there is a shuttle. We didn't use shuttle, 3 minute drive and parking was easy enough.
