The price was right and the room was clean.  The carpet and linoleum in my room needed to be replaced, but I think this location simply has not yet been updated like some of the more modern La Quintas I have experienced.  Breakfast was belgian waffles, toast, cereal, instant oatmeal and grits.  Staff was pleasant.  The pool looks nice, though weather did not permit me to try it out.

The hotel is fairly nice my only major complaint was the noise. If your not checking  out as early as 8 or 9 don't plan on getting any sleep. The room was nice and clean except for the tub. The bathtub was kinda gross. Our Tv had a crack in it but it was nice.

Worth the price we paid for sure. Outdoor rooms were on the small side, but clean and the beds were comfortable. Microwave and Fridge in the room which was a plus for us with baby bottles. Showers appear dirty, but according to the front desk, the no slip strips dissolved in them and stained it. There are evidently plans already to refinish them. All in all, I'd probably stay here again.

I usually stay here in Chattanooga, as they allow pets and have smoking rooms.  The place is pretty clean and the staff are very helpful and it is located near a junction of several main connector roads for getting around the city; and right off of I-75.

On the downside, the tub was pretty water stained and didn't drain well; but the water pressure in this hotel is outstanding (no Low Flow nozzles here!).

It's not the Ritz Carlton or anything but the rooms are very reasonably priced, so the tradeoff's are ok by me.

Nothing special, that's for sure. Parking here is a total joke. If you have a uhaul and trailer, don't bother. Security at the Hampton Inn said it was a bad neighborhood and cars have been broken into. Hopefully I have a car on my trailer like I left it...

It did the job for the night, as in it allowed dogs and had beds, but this location has the thinnest walls of anyplace I've every stayed.  Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper so it was not a big deal for me.  Desk was friendly, breakfast was acceptable.

It was a nice stay.

There was nothing really bad or nothing was outstanding.  I think its a little over priced for the standard of the room and location.

It had a nice HDTV 32 with really good reception and FREE WFI.

The room was clean, but had one little spot on the sheets (which we got changed)

The bathtub was clean, but had a tough time turning off the water after a shower.

The room was small like a microtel.

The staff was GREAT.  They helped us with directions and very friendly.  Ashley, checked us in quickly with no hold ups. She actually stopped everything she was doing to help us. (which sometimes is rare when checking into a hotel)

Breakfast was good. Waffles, toast, hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, cereal, apple juice, orange juice, coffee and hot tea.

Overall pretty good.  We would stay again, but only for a lower price.

The worst La Quinta I have stayed in.    Bugs in the room, straight shower rod allows nasty curtain to touch ones body, fluctuating water temperature in shower, non-functional AC, and nice warm milk to go with  the stale cereal in the morning.

Just stay at the other location until the renovations are finished.  This property will hopefully improve, because right now its a real mess.  You have to push the door handle UP instead of down as normal; to get the locks to work on the room doors.

No Security at Night - What ?  and no directions or signage to direct you to your room unless you are in the main building.

This hotel shouldn't be open in the middle of a major renovation; even though their staff is as accommodating as possible to the guests.  If they had told me they were renovating, I wouldn't have booked this property.

I love La Quinta usually, but this one - NOT.

the front desk did credit me $20. off my bill for the inconvenience on check out. that in my opinion was not nearly enough for what I endured for the 8 hrs I tried to sleep in that unfinished room.

This particular La Quinta Inn Chattanooga/Hamilton Place if you leave any items in your room they will steal and keep it! I recently stayed at this La Quinta Inn on December 13, 2013 on my way from Florida to Illinois with my husband. The next morning we left thinking we packed everything. When I arrived at my mother in law house on Saturday December 14, 2013 I realized that I had left my $200 flat iron at the hotel since we did not stop at any other place. I called the hotel told them my room number and specifically told them that I left my flat iron. The man on the phone told me that the housekeeper who cleaned the room was her day off and will contact me the next day when she would be in. I never received a called from them at all. I called again the three days later and another person told me that no flat iron was located in my room. I figured maybe I did forget my flat iron at home.

I was WRONG! I went back home on December 28, 2013 and my flat iron was not at home. So I know I left my flat iron at the hotel and they were lying to me. I called again because they lied about not finding a flat iron. The lady this time was rude and disgusting and told me that she would get back to me when again the housekeeper would go through their so called lost and found items! She never did called me. I called her 5 hours later that same day and spoke to a different lady and told me that there was no flat iron in my room. I told them that they were lying and they lost my business from them. She told me "I doubt that my housekeeping staff would steal anything from you" and she disconnected the phone. Now I have no flat iron and had a bad experience that my husband and I will never stay at this establishment again. Again don't stay at this La Quinta Inn there are so many other hotels around the area!

It's an okay place as far as motels go.
Was stuck in Chattanooga for 2 nights without a car. Luckily this place is within walking distance of many places to eat and a convenience store.
For the price it provided what I needed. Room was clean and nice, maybe newly remodeled. Only issue was I wanted to soak in hot bath but hot water ran out after 2 inches of water.
Only 5 min. from airport is a plus.
Tip: If you have a timed order in for taxi to airport be sure and follow-up about an hour before they are supposed to pick you up. Cabs in this city can be a major issue.

Comfortable beds!  It's showing a little wear and tear and could use a good cleaning up in the walkways.  Close to restaurants and shopping.  I'd stay there again.

Great place to hang your head at night. Located next in the middle of pretty much every in Chattanooga. Downtown is within ten minutes. There are restaurants literally within walking distances, as well as convenience stores. The actual hotel and room are really amazing for the price.

My Family and I stayed there on the 27th in room 100. My son found a live cockroach inside the bedding. Management did not seem concerned. Carpet and couches were stained and smelly. Carpet was torn and shredded in several places. The toilet would not flush correctly either.

Stayed here for one night the end March 2015.  Room was nice and clean.  We left our toiletries bag there and after we paid to have it shipped to us I found that some of the items were stolen.

I'm not sure what they were trying to do with the "living room" type area but it made me uncomfortable in there. should have knocked the wall down between the bedroom and "living room" the green couch looked suspicious.
furniture is worn and the ac thing in my room was dangling open.
had to flush the toilet 4 times to get the toilet  paper to even go down.
I only stay at la Quintas because I have a 100lb dog.
overall I kinda felt like I was in someone's house, but like they couldn't afford furniture and the stuff they had was picked up from the curb.
I felt really uncomfortable and anxious here.
the walls are very thin also, and the people next to me had the tv all the way up, very annoying.

We had reservations for this place and arrived at 3:15pm.  We had driven for 12 hours straight and were totally exhausted.  Our room wasn't ready, and we had to wait until 5:30pm until our room was FINALLY done.  No one cared at all; the manager and staff could have cared less.
The room was borderline disgusting.  The room stunk, the bathroom faucets and sink were filthy, along with the bedroom alarm clock.
I recently complained to corporate; they forwarded my concerns to the local Inn in Chattanooga, where they sent me an email apologizing, and informing me that their staff will be more attentive next time.
NEXT TIME, I will pay the extra money for a pet deposit fee at another hotel.  AND THERE, I will get treated as a human being!
Thanks for nothing La Quinta!

The hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. I really liked the way that the restrooms are very large with many mirrors and lights. The television is a big screen and the remote control lights up and the TV channels show which station is playing. We would stay here again. Pets are free; however, very few places to walk your dog.
