Excellent place to stay while in Chattanooga.  There are about 15 excellent places to eat within a 5 minute walk.  The Imax is about 1 minute away and the riverfront is about 5 minutes away.  The hotel was clean and well furnished.  We just stayed one nite, but the place has the feel of an apartment.  Our room had a microwave, reg. sized fridge and a two eye stove.  We have always liked Marriotts and this stay was no exception.  We even thourht the $5.00 per day parking was reasonalbe, considering that this was the last night of Riverbend.  We also felt the parking area was safe and secure.  During Riverbend the gate was staffed by a security officer.

I stayed here with my two girls this weekend and it was perfect!  Desk staff was helpful and even have me and upgrade when they saw I was traveling by myself w two toddlers.  Girls loved the indoor pool time and we walked to the children's museum (block away ) and aquarium (also a block away).  I'd recommend it to families and anyone!  Great stay. Clean and spacious and full kitchen is a bonus!!

Yes, it is a great location and that's why I rated it at 3. I waited a the gate so I could check in for about 5 mins; so I decided to go in do I could get through the gate to park. I waited another 15.5 mins for someone to come to the counter. The guy ahead of me said he had being waiting for awhile.

If I was meeting my son there with my grandson, I would have left like the guy ahead of me.  One I finally get checked in, I found that they only had queen beds. Yes, I asked the young lady for another room and I was informed if I wanted king, I need to stay at the Courtyard. Another big disappointment but at least it was a great location. So guess where I will be staying next time?

I don't even know where to start this place is simply a train wreck. To start my card was charged double and I was promised it would be fixed, it still hasn't. The heat didn't work the water in the shower wouldn't get cold it was only scorching hot.....!!!! I went to the front desk to complain and a woman told me she didn't want to call her manager because it was too early in the morning. 3 hours later I'm
here still waiting for the manager to come and refund my money I can't wait to get the hell out of this place! stay away

Perfect location to stay if you want to get out and walk around downtown. Great front desk service,  rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The parking is private and free. The only thing I did not like is the loud air conditioner.  Then again most hotels have that kind of air unit. Great stay!
