Conveniently located just of I 75, (exit 5) this hotel is in a good location and neighborhood. The room and linens were very clean. It did have some chipped paint and peeling wallpaper but the overall condition of the hotel was good. The staff was friendly and courteous. The beds are very comfortable and they have flat screens televisions in the rooms. The free wifi was ok. Strong connection, but not fast. There is also a free continental breakfast. Microwave, fridge, iron, and hair dryer in each room. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Hamilton Place mall is about a mile away.

    Bottom line:

    Great price for the area
    Nice staff
    Clean rooms
    A bit dated hotel

Bleh. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is such a downer. To preface, I did find this hotel online while trying to save a buck or two on my cross country move with my small dog.  And I've never stayed in a dog friendly budget hotel, but this property certainly leaves much to be desired.
Firstly the location itself is pretty sketch. Tucked away in a cluster of hotel/motels, there were plenty of mismatched drunken couples making their way back from Crackerbarrel and Applebees to their hotel rooms when I pulled into the parking lot. The  lobby was a bit small and crowded with furniture but the service out shined the dinginess.  The young man working the desk was very welcoming and polite.
Parking was interesting. I was not thrilled to leave my subcompact- packed with just about everything I own- in a dark, narrow parking row, a few doors down from my room due to availability. But I did see the cops mosey through the lot twice so that's something? Right?
It didn't get better upon entering the room. I'm not sure if it's that whiff of soggy cigs and sad prostitutes or chipped headboard and poor paint job but there's something really unfortunate going on in here. Needless to say I've already locked the flimsy looking door chain and won't be touching the remote tonight.
I recommend that you just spend an extra 30 bucks and enjoy your hotel stay somewhere else. Hindsight 20/20.

I recently stayed here during a weekend trip to Chattanooga. The room was fine and the staff was helpful. I was on the other side of town when I started to find the hotel. My GPS sent me on a confusing route and I initially thought the hotel would be difficult to find because of that, but it is just one light off of I-75. I was running a half marathon and my wife was still asleep. I knew I wouldn't make it back in time for checkout, and unfortunately because the hotel was booked the following night I couldn't get a check out as late as I wanted. The man at the front desk suggested my wife check out by noon and wait in the lobby with our bags. That worked fine and she was able to get a continental breakfast there while waiting. The room as clean and the bed was comfortable.
