    Dont be fooled people. The absolute worst experience. I should have stuck with my original reservation with The Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas. I foolishly booked this hotel for my fiance and I for our honeymoon after our wedding. WHAT A MISTAKE! Sure the staff was friendly, but shady. I booked the hotel over the phone of which they quoted me a price of $499 for the jacuzzi suite. They gave me this rate to compare with the Madalay Hotel. When I asked to have my reservation confirmed with an email from the hotel, I never got one even after asking 3 TIMES!! When I arrived, the price was different. It kept changing. And at check out they wanted to charge over $600???? Really??? And thats after we had to change rooms twice because of mold and unclean rooms with filthy, soiled towels and garbage left in the fridge.. Not to mention NO housekeeping service for two days!!! This place is outrageous. My now husband kept asking why there was hardly any cars in the parking lot or guests the whole time we were there. We figured it out. THE HOTEL IS FULL OF CROOKS AND THE HOTEL OVERALL IS NOT WORTH IT. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING. DON"T BOOK THIS HOTEL! IT is trash. Again, fair warning.

    My husband booked our room here sight unseen.  It is close to Six Flags, The Ballpark, and Cowboy Stadium.  Construction on Watson Rd. makes getting into the parking lot difficult but worth it.  Newly remodeled, it is pleasing to the eye and comfortable.  Our was room was clean and attractive and they offer amenities such as a gym, indoor pool and continental breakfast (which includes do-it-yourself waffles).   I noticed a small business center but didn't need it thanks to the free wi-fi in the room.  The room was extremely affordable and  we definitely enjoyed our stay!

    This hotel is still under renovation and can really use the work. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Air conditioner so noisy it prevents sleep. Unidentifiable odor in hallway covered by worse smelling perfumed spray. When the word resort is included in the title (on Travelocity) one would expect some services and no resort services are available here. No restaurant, no spa, no activities, no concierge. A resort is defined as a place that takes care of all the guests' needs; food, drink, shopping, lodging, sports and entertainment.  This place is definitely mis advertised. Having a full sized basketball court under their roof does not qualify as providing sports, it's just weird.
    Texas shaped waffles (can someone tell me why that state is so overproud of itself) are the only redeeming factor in a breakfast that is mostly frequented by the employees. There is no yogurt, the butter is whipped spread (that means fluffed chemicals), fruit was only bananas, no muffins, dough nuts or pastries, if you don't like that Texas shaped waffle you better like toast with your chemical spread! One juice dispenser not working, paper towels instead of napkins; in general one baby step above Econo-Lodge quality. The tables were sticky and no one in evidence clearing, wiping or replenishing. There was no facial tissue in the bathroom. There was no notepad or pen in the room to leave a note for the housekeeper to ask for some and no housekeeper in the hall by noon. Front desk staff were friendly but forced to respond with "I'm alone can you come down and get it". What kind of resort has one person on staff. Had a view of Cowboy's stadium but a very far drive due to navigating one way streets and freeway access. Do not believe the claim to restaurants nearby; this is an industrial area and there is not access to food at the hotel except the vending machines. Be prepared to travel to eat. I would excuse the noise since we were there for a football game and the place was full of fans but there was the train noise, the air conditioner noise and the traffic noise in addition to the fan noise so I don't think there could be a quiet time in the hotel.

    Place was real clean and the staff was great. The newly opened restaurant was really nice and hip inside with great food. Not much around the hotel (walking distance)for a quick grab so if your cabbing the weekend it sure adds up. Nice job, made us feel at home during the stay.

    Bad. The hotel is nice and so was the family suite. Few issues tho. We just checked out. Room 300 was missing important stuff.  There was no phone at all. So we could not call the front desk.  There was no information book either so we had no idea what amenities were available. I usually like to see what the hotel has to offer but I guess that's what we get for assuming and not doung our research.  5 channels are available and the main tv was very fuzzy. I have 4 children and luckily I brought our own electronics to entertain them. I expected for at least their tv to have kid channels....nope.  When I informed the front desk, they just said oh we will check it out. They said that whomever stayed prior mustv taken the book. So im guessing they dont check whats missing. I was very disappointed and they offered no compensation.  For the price we paid I expected everything to be in order upon our arrival. My family will not stay here again. Ive stayed in many high end and mid hotels and this one was quite disappointing. Hopefully they will fix these issues b4 the next family comes.

    Oh it started with when we got there, when I made the reservation I called right after and said all rooms (3) have to be right next to each other. We got there and had to go though hoops to get all rooms together. At first they even had one of us on another floor.We were going to stay there because it had an indoor pool, let the kids have a good time. We get to the pool and it smells like SEWER and was cold. If my daughter won't stay in a pool its cold. Then my niece tries to give her daughter a bath and there is no hot water in her room.  I have some lovely pictures of doors boarded up with plywood. And a basketball court that says NO BALLS ALLOWED!
    The staff was nice, no complaints there.  I ended up leaving and got a refund (at least I am suppose to).  My home is only 30 minutes away, we were just trying to have a get away for the kids.  Needless to say we drove back home, kids disappointed.

    Took a gamble and booked a room on price line for the Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney concert at Cowboys Stadium.  Great value for our 109.00/night rate.  It must have been another hotel before, and it was undergoing renovation.  They have done a great job- giving it an eclectic and contemporary aesthetic.  Double room was super clean. Nice bedding, granite bathroom with separate granite vanity.  Very quiet, too.

    We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, but the area where it was served looked well kept and clean.

    No bar, or other restaurant, indoor pool, work out facility- all just FYI. they had a gift shop which was handy. Cokes, aspirin, small snacks- more than the usual La Quinta or the like has.

    GREAT location if you are going to Six Flags, The Ball Park, or Cowboys Stadium. GREAT GREAT GREAT.  And they do shuttle people for a small fee to Cowboys Stadium- however, the drop off is about 3/4 mile from the actual stadium. So on a HOT day or night- beware!

    I think for the price, it's a great hotel. We were pleasantly surprised.

    First impression was good. We arrived at ten past two in the afternoon, which was before the 3 pm checkin. The $25 dollars early checkin fee was waved as we didn't want to pay it. Room was clean, good smell, clean sheets and customer service was great. Very friendly staff and to top that off, you have free parking, wifi and Continental breakfast with waffle!!!! The thing I liked the most was the gym area with full cardio center, weight room, and a pool indoor, and outdoor. There are renovations going on, but once that's done, this place will rock!!! Friday night live music with pool party. Great atmosphere!! I would recommend this place.

    Customer service is top notch at this establishment. Was greeted upon check-in very warmly and was made to feel very welcome. They also allowed us to check in a while before the normal time which was nice. When we realized our mini fridge wasn't cooling properly, they arrived in just minutes to replace it with one that worked great. In addition, they called our room to verify it was working. Very nice outdoor pool area. Only issue was a mildew like odor in the room; in their defense we didn't ever comment to them about it, and in retrospect they might have offered another room. We will probably stay there again in the future.

    Doorman made my husband move the car while he was checking in during pouring rain. He got drenched. Then they wouldn't let me continue checking in without him. Slow front desk.

    I wish I could rate this hotel 0 stars. Right when you walk in it looks NOTHING like the pictures. The staff was nice, but the rooms were nothing like was pictured. The halls smelled disgusting, the room was small and smelled unbearable. This hotel is NOT worth the $450 they charged me for 2 people, 2 nights. It was so bad I walked in, stayed for 10 minutes and then went to the front desk to get a refund. Thankfully they gave us ALMOST all of our money back but charged us a $25 cancellation fee which isn't bad. Also, to get into their hotel bar you have to dress a certain way. We ended up going to another hotel around the corner, it was nicer and about $300 cheaper.

    Great value for the money. This hotel has just had a complete facelift. Everything is clean and up to date. The staff was friendly, and check-in was a breeze. Lots of free outside parking that is well lit. The free breakfast is pretty much cereal, bagels, waffles,  coffee and juice. It's not Ihop, but you can't beat free.
    Blue Cypress is just off 360 and is a 5 minute drive to Jerry's World, 6 Flags and the Ballpark.

    Easily the best hospitality I have ever received at a hotel. I booked through expedia and was way overcharged for the wrong type of room, but Hamida bent over backwards for me and completely remedied the situation. Our hotel room was phenomenal. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite on the top floor and it was the cleanest, most beautiful room I've ever stayed in. The jacuzzi was amazing- the only thing I would say is it would have been nice to have candles :)
    To Hamida and the rest of the staff at the Blue Cypress Hotel: thank you for being kind, patient, and considerate. This was the best stay of my life and I guarantee I will be back to Dallas and booking at your hotel. You have a truly wonderful staff and an amazing establishment!

    Dirty and room smells like pee.
    Front desk clerks seemed confused at any time when questions were asked.  The sheet were stained, the bathroom was barely cleaned - moldy shower curtain soap residue in shower - but the room smell of urine crept up as the night went on...2 stars because it is close to 6 flags and it has a gym. Oh, be prepared to tip $2 if you buy a drink in the resteraunt, it is automatically added to your bill - so yea, an extra $2 to pop a cap off a beer...as I write this in my hotel room, I see someone else's popcorn under the chair the maid missed....dirty dirty dirty avoid avoid avoid

    Something about this place just feels "off" . The pictures are pretty accurate however if you look closer you can see the real deal. Dirty sheets, holes in the wall covered with wallpaper,  shower nozzle super loose from the wall, and an unusual odor- not horrible just kinda stale?  The place has a nightclub on site which made it impossible to park on Saturday night.  There was vomit in the elevator,  cops in the lobby handling some kind of payment dispute drama. Ugh just not pleasant or family friendly.  I've had waaay better for the price.  Buyer Beware!

    I've never booked a hotel before so I was really skeptical when it came to this.

    It was about $120 for two people for one night. Check in was at 3 pm and check out was at 11 am.

    I would say that you would get more bang for your buck if you were to actually have time to use the other facilities. (DUh, lol) They have a 24 hour gym and pool. There's also a restaurant within the hotel. So I wouldn't recommend this if you were just looking for a place to stay for just a night and if you were looking something worth your money. The room was nice though! The AC was blasting and it was clean for the most part. My only complaint about this place is about the TV remotes; they're not exactly working.

    The customer service is great and there's a little shop filled with necessities across the check in counter.

    My husband and I needed a mini vacation, so we booked this place.  Our first room was smoldering hot with a broken air conditioner!  Luckily, the front desk person, Bo, found a spare room for us and made sure the air was on before we got in!  The only disappointment was the breakfast.  Very small for such a beautiful hotel.  Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and we are very pleased at their progress!  We will be back.
