We stayed here 2 nights after staying at the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine for 2 nights and let me say for the price and large rooms, free breakfast, the smell of new... I wished I stayed all 4 nights here... don't get me wrong it is no 5 star hotel like the Gaylord but we loved this hotel.... it was clean, rooms were huge, people were nice, I will stay here again.. it really gave a new name to Comfort Suites for sure!!!

While the hotel is way above average and their breakfast is excellent, the billing policy stinks.  They advertise the room at a given rate, then add the state, county and city taxes.  Then they add a $2.99 per room per day "hotel services fee" to the bill.  WHAT THE HECK???  I stay in Choices family hotels 50-60 times a year and this is the first "hotel services fee" I have ever seen.  Not to worry, there is a Quality Inn with up front costs about 5-6 miles south that will get my business in the future.

It's always a pleasure to stay here! The rooms are indeed huge. I have stayed here a couple of times. The first time they had water in my bathroom, but they took care of it. I love that they have plugs in the lamps next to the bed. Every hotel should get that! It is definitely a hotel worth staying in for whatever reason. Their bathroom was spacious and they provide a foyer almost with a fridge and microwave. You also get a living room.

How can a hotel charge a not-mentioned-online fee for a non-refundable room booked online? Resort fees are common in tourist areas, but they are disclosed during booking; I don't view Arlington as a tourist destination, and the fee was not disclosed during booking.

We stayed here in May on a road trip, after staying at many Comfort Suites across the country with booking directly through choicehotels. However this is the only one to charge a previously unmentioned 'entertainment district fee' of $2.99 per night after I booked a non-refundable room. I noticed this fee on my credit card statement after staying and called the hotel to find out about the charge.

The staff member said the charge was mentioned in the checkin paperwork. I didn't notice it and it was never mentioned orally. I asked for a copy of the checkin paperwork that I signed and was told it would be emailed to me promptly. I also left a voicemail message with the manager about this issue. Never got the paperwork nor did I hear back from the manager.

Very nice place to stay. Was pleasantly surprised how nice of a hotel this was. Just picked it as a stop during our road trip.

I don't think they deserve any stars. I stayed in their hotel on Aug. 30 and still today I have not received my 508.23 back that they stole out of my account. I have had to press criminal charges against this hotel. When I called their corporate office, they had no comment. I am pissed. NEVER STAY CHOICE HOTELS

Horribly rude over night staff. I had switched purses at the last minute and did not have a credit card (room was pre-paid in advance) for incidentals. They said only $17.99 would be authorized and I offered to pay $20 and I was told no if it is cash it is a $200 deposit. I had to pay this or I could not stay. As I tried to find an alternate plan of some sort the staff literally yelled over me and said "im sorry I cant help all the rest of you because she wont let me" "Last time when this happened I called the police, they wont let me do that anymore" Wait...what?! Im just asking you to help me and not shove me to the side when I still have questions and asked to see their policy in writing since it was not mentioned anywhere else when I booked the room. I called my friend to which she was super rude to as well, I was able to get my friends help and check in and if it wasn't already paid for and non-refundable I wouldn't have trust me ...Oh! and the styrofoam plates at breakfast ...nice - NOT.

I stayed here recently when visiting my grandparents' around the corner, and was so, so impressed!  I'm a self-confessed city-slicker and have been spoiled by business trips to very nice boutique hotels, but it was close and easy, and I didn't want to rent a car.

WOW!  This place was sooooo nice.  Incredibly clean, the staff was beyond friendly, and it put the Hyatt I was at the night before by far.  Very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there were outlets everywhere - great for the modern traveller with multiple devices to charge.  They even let me check out a day early without charging me for the night I missed, even though they could have, and most places would have!  Couldn't have been happier.

Free WiFi (that was fast, too!), free parking, and the coffee was even decent though I can't comment on the breakfast having slept through it.

To the reviewer who complained about the taxes and fees, I get hit with those everywhere, all the time.  Good luck ducking them at your other hotel - I'll be shocked if you can.
