It was not as nice as some of the courtyards I've stayed in, but it was within walking distance of Cowboys stadium, and that was all I cared about. Rooms were okay, the staff were friendly.

Great location!  This is a newly renovated location and the room and lobby is great for business travelers.  Highly recommend this location is your looking to go to a football or baseball game.

We picked this hotel because of it's proximity to Ranger's Park.  When we pulled up in front of the hotel, I was rethinking this decision.  This hotel is incredibly ugly.  The front desk failed to make me feel any better.  Until they told me about a fun bus that takes guests to the ball park for free!  And that helped me feel a bit better.  And then they gave me a fortune cookie that gave me 1,000 extra Marriott Reward points.  Feeling fairly good now.

We parked our car to the south side of the building.  Still ugly.  Also, strange men seemed to be hanging around in the parking lot.  Very scary.  Oh, wait.  They are workmen remodeling the rooms and the exterior.  That makes me feel a bit better.  Our room no longer had the grotesque green carpeting on the Marriott website.  It's now pretty blue.  Everything is new and fresh.  Loved the granite in the bathroom.  And Paul Mitchell hair products.  This is going to be okay.

Transportation to the ballpark was nice, the hotel is so incredibly close, we decided to walk back to the hotel.  The next morning, we enjoyed coffee from the Starbucks and was on the road.  Very surprisingly nice hotel.  I will try not to jump to conclusions without all the facts!

Nice, clean hotel. There is a nice indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub. The room was clean and we'll stocked.

This place is the perfect location if you are going to a Rangers or Cowboys game. Both stadiums are within a 10 min walk. It's awesome not having to worry about parking or drinking and having to drive. The prices go up when there are events like cowboy games but you cannot beat this location. Our room was nice and clean. A/C worked good. Thumbs up

do not, i repeat, do not stay at this hotel. 2 out of the 3 rooms we booked had live cockroaches in them.

when we complained to the front desk, they sent an employee up to spray our room... do not know how effective that was.

We stayed at the Courtyard Dallas Arlington for one night. We were in Arlington to catch a ballgame and the biggest thing going for this hotel is its proximity to both stadiums and you don't have to deal with game parking - it could not be more convenient! The hotel is newly renovated, very clean and has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. The prices are reasonable (well, except, of course, for when the Cowboys are playing at home).
The rooms are decently sized and moderately quiet (the layout of the room helps a lot with that, as does the elevators and ice machines being located in rooms at the ends of the halls). The private patios and balconies (with table and chairs) are a really nice touch. We were in room #250.

So why not 5 stars? Well, as far as I could tell there is a Starbuck's café area for continental breakfast-type items, but no buffet, no hot items (I don't believe) and definitely not complimentary. There is no signage on the 2nd floor directing you to the lobby, nor is there a map/hotel layout in your room -- on the back of your door there is a dark diagram of only the hallway with your room and the exits for that one hallway. If you arrived late, did not pay attention, and entered through a rear entrance, you will wander, confused for a bit until you realize it's a big square with the pool in the center, only to be disappointed over the breakfast situation when you do make it to the lobby. Signs would be a welcome courtesy. And then the thing that is always a big issue for me, there was no recycling receptacle in our room.

I recommend the Courtyard Dallas Arlington.
Overall, we were happy - no wow-factor, just a solid hotel. We will be staying again, but not any longer than just a night or two.

Because of its location near both the baseball and football stadiums, this Courtyard gets quite a bit of business from visiting sports fans.

Considering how long the new Cowboys Stadium has been open, you would expect they would be ready to handle a high volume of people staying for one night.

Unfortunately, they were not. While we were fortunate to get our room right about 3pm on first attempt, there was a long wait to do so and most others were sitting around the lobby waiting for their rooms to be ready.

There was only one person at the front desk handling this crowd and he was working very hard in a tough situation. The housekeeping staff just could not turn the rooms around fast enough between an Arkansas-Texas A&M Saturday to a Saints-Cowboys Sunday.

It would also make sense for this property to have a list in the hands of the security person working the parking lot to allow registered guests to park when they arrive at the hotel, rather than force people to stack their cars up right outside the front entrance until they receive a parking pass.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, although the walls were pretty thin compared to other Courtyards as I woke up to my neighbors coming in at 2:30 AM from Humperdinks or wherever they decided to blow off steam after the game.

The price is extremely reasonable, the service as accommodating as can be, and the rooms are nice. I would say that if you are staying in Arlington for a game at either the Cowboys Stadium or the Rangers Stadium, you should stay here as it is within walking distance of both. (But I'm sure you'll have to book in advance since it's not a HUGE hotel and rooms probably fill up fast).

The pool is both indoor/outdoor and has an awesome hot tub. The lobby can be a cool hang-out area if you're waiting for your room or need to get away from the people IN your room.

It's also walking-distance from a number of restaurants and sports bars.

I hope to stay here again when I have another sports event in Arlington to attend.
