The staff is pleasant, accomodating and helpful. Even the one problem we had (with internet not working with our wii) got fixed within ten minutes of calling and we have never had a problem since. I have tried other hotels in the area but been met with annoyances, rudeness, parasites, dirtiness, etc...not at this place. I am a huge fan of this hotel, big and clean rooms, great staff. Great experience for the price and good times had.

0 stars if I could. Don't stay here... I didn't
Cheap 'ole me was settin' in the Internet cafe looking for a cheap place to stay near the Texas Rangers' ballpark and up pops this bargain at extended stay on E. Lamar. 50 bucks for a room with a kitchenette (not that my wife will even let me think about eating in on vacation). Booked it on-line.
Red flag number 1: As I enter the lobby, mid afternoon, I notice what appear to be mostly economically disadvantaged folks watching the t.v.
RF 2: After checking at the front desk we start to our room. Immediately on entering the hallway we are beset by a heavy tobacco/musty stench.
RF 3: In the hallway, there are boxes of new mattresses that are being being deployed to all rooms - we waited outside our room, which stinks more than the hallway, while the workers put a new set of mattresses in.
Meanwhile, I'm thinking, I can stay here if my wife can.
Finally we get the last flag. We decide to check out the pool in the back of the hotel and make our way though the hallway following the exit signs. We open the door to a smaller hallway that has a door on the other end to the outside. Upon opening the door my wife comments on the foul odor, which I do not notice at first, but on hearing her complaint, I gaze around and see it - human excrement right there on the carpet.
We went back to the front desk and got out of there. This hotel is nothing more than a halfway house.
This whole episode kind of parallels my feeling about where the middle class of our country is. That is, we are going to be asked to pay for shoddy services that other people will be happy to have for free.

I have never given a bad review before.. but I must warn people... one word.. FLEAS!
I was stranded in Dallas after some bad weather and all other hotels were booked. My room looked clean, the staff very friendly.. but I was bit several times by fleas.
I dont know what else to stay... i didnt sleep much.

This hotel looks real nice it looks like apartments. It has 3 different buildings. It has free wifi and I'm not sure about breakfast. It's very quite and peaceful threw out the day as well. BUT I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND! Because there's bugs!!! Bugs out in the front by the door dead bugs on the kitchen floor dead bugs in the bathroom and live bugs near the bed they look like Beatles! Actual it's pretty gross cause I seen like 3 different kind of bugs AND the rooms stink . The bathroom stinks like public restrooms the cover blanket, the sheets and the pillows smell as well . I asked them to clean them and the house keeper acted as if she didn't want to lol if they fix that this hotel would be AWSOME.
