    Nice hotel, great location. Property has been renovated, lovely breakfast area, very accommodating staff. Given a free suite upgrade when we asked to change rooms. Nice breakfast and coffee choices. Comfortable and clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

    Shhh...don't tell HGI - I have been unfaithful.

    This is my first stay at Hampton Inn and what a pleasant surprise.  The hotel is located in what is called the entertainment district (near Jerry's World) and there are many places to stay in the area.  I called a few and was a bit hesitate but my goodness this place is beautiful.

    The staff was friendly and helpful and got us settled into a room right away.  We were completely taken by surprise when we walked into tile floors and a comfy king sized bed and sleeper sofa (this is a suite).  The room is well laid out so I was able to sit on one side of the room and knit and listen to my books while he watched TV or worked on the computer.

    HGI = $139 per night
    Hampton = $119 per night

    This location is only about 6 months old so I am not sure if this is the same at other spots.  If you are looking for a place near DFW this is a great option.

    Great Location for THE TEXAS RANGERS Baseball Home Game or six flags, rooms were clean, comfortable, staff excellent. Goldilocks would say this bed is just right.

    So I depend rather heavily on my fellow reviewers to lead me in the right direction and I think they did here as well.  With a huge, sprawling city like Dallas, there are so many options that I have very rarely stayed in the same local too often, so here I chose one I had never been to before.  I chose it for it proximity to a major road getting me back to I-20 and the fact there are eating establishments all over the place.

    I was worried about the proximity to the parks, though, fearing an influx of children and families.  I don't dislike either, but I was on business, so sleep and quiet time is helpful.

    I found this Hampton to be one of the cleanest I have been in for a long time.  The lobby was spacious and very clean.  The internet worked great and the room was pretty big, as was the bathroom.  Not to mention, while I know it was mid-May and during the week, the hotel was quiet and very nice.

    I have no complaints and would be back and can easily refer.

    This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.  Rooms are stuffy.  Air conditioning does not properly work. General manager is very rude.  Do not stay at this hotel!!

    Room was comfortable and plenty of parking.  Shower had some mildew in corners.  Breakfast was horrible - the ham, egg, and cheese scramble had cheese not yet melted.  Couldn't eat it.

    I have stayed here on multiple occasions in 2012 and 2013 for work-related purposes.  The staff here is amazing.  They are friendly, courteous, and make every effort to make sure that your stay is a great one.  The hotel rooms are clean, the breakfast is good.  In addition, they offer trolley service to the Rangers game.

    During one multiple night stay, the housekeeping service for some reason overlooked my room.  I inquired about it at the end of the day, and the front desk person offered to take care of it on the spot.  (it was not a big deal at all; I declined.)  The next morning, the hotel manager was extremely apologetic.  Again, I reassured them that it was not a problem.  However, that illustrates the level of attentiveness and effort to correct any mistakes.

    This group bends over backwards to make sure that you are their top priority.

    I cannot recommend them highly enough.
