We stayed here the night of our wedding since we had to leave the next day for our honeymoon to San Juan. We also purchased rooms for a few family members. I got my wife and I's room set up that morning. I went to the hotel and they let me check in a few hours ahead of time so I can get the rose peddles and bubbly ready for when we arrive later that night. The front desk staff was very friendly. I didn't eat the food here, but the rooms were quite big. After the weeding we can back to our room with 7-10 people from the wedding and we all fit nicely. The only issue we had was when we were opening all the gifts the smoke alarm kept on going off like every 10min. We called down to the front desk a few times until they came up and fixed it like 2 hours later. It didn't really bother me, but a few of the other people were not having it.
If I have to stay some were in Arlington I will probably stay here due to the proximity of everything out there.

This place would be a GREAT location once they finish the new Cowboy's stadium. Not only that but its close to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbour and the Ballpark in Arlington..were the Rangers play.

The pool was nice and the child we were traveling with loved the large indoor-outdoor pool. The hot tub was cold, though the jacuzzi jets worked. Internet's not free. Front desk staff very pleasant. The hotel participates in the Arlington trolley system shared between other hotels. Great location for Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Rangers Ballpark, etc.

Driving up to the hotel, it looks like an 80s brown brick business building. The front desk staff was fine when I checked in, but when I checked out they were much nicer.
Upside - the bed was *really* comfortable! And the room was rather large. The bathroom was a bit smaller than I expected, but I think that's because they remodeled with new granite counters that extend further into the space. The bathroom wasn't small, but not large either. The bed though... totally worth it.
Downside - You can hear quite a bit of noise from outside the rooms/hallways. Their Internet is a bit strange, you have to have a certain status in their rewards club and its not HHonors, its another group.
The bar area was pretty busy when I checked in, there seemed to be a lot of business people having a happy hour drink there, which is cool. They also had a poster promoting the trolley service Arlington has, which was kinda cool.
Overall, if you want a really, really comfy bed, stay here. If that's not so important, not such a big deal.

The location of the hotel is great. The hotel itself isn't as great. The room is fine but the bathroom is tiny. The bed feels good, but I woke up every morning feeling like I had been punched in the kidneys, which is really odd. This feeling went away after a couple of nights in the bed. The walls aren't paper thin, but you can hear muffled neighbor sounds, and the ceiling does transmit sound. The pool is really odd. The first day we got here the pool was cold and I couldn't swim in it. The next day the pool was warmer and I could swim in it. The hot tub felt like it was 120 the first day. The next day it was cooler. Our last day at the pool there were some other guests there and they agreed that the pool was cold, so it wasn't just me.

The restaurant for the breakfast bar is good, but they charge $15 for standard breakfast food (eggs, bacon, French toast, etc.) which is too much. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. If you stay at the hotel you get tickets for free breakfast. So that makes up for it.

I can see myself coming back to Arlington, but I would choose to stay in a different hotel.

This hotel is located in a business park near Six Flags, the ballpark, and Cowboys Stadium.  It really isn't with walking distance of any super desirable restaurants, and the hotel is a bit dated.

Rooms:  The rooms are large and well-appointed with a desk, two easy chairs, and a huge king bed.  The bathrooms are smallish and difficult to maneuver in, and the closet door intersects in a problematic way with the bathroom door. bed was perfect with good linens and plenty of pillows. The room, however, was extremely quiet and I couldn't hear any other guest noises or outside traffic (really a plus, as I'm a light sleeper).

Convention:  We did registration for our event in the lobby, which is somewhat less than desirable since the lobby is choked with columns and furniture.  The conference facilities were nice but smallish.

Food:  Room service was acceptable but not great. I ordered a grilled romaine salad (sounds weird, tastes good) and their much-vaunted mushroom mac and cheese which was incredibly blah and underseasoned (and the cheese sauce needed much more cheese in it).  The breakfast buffet was mediocre and featured some really inedible looking food that may have tasted good, but I couldn't get past the appearance of the food.  Tip:  Never pair turkey sausage with egg whites inside a spinach tortilla without putting some salsa or cheese in there to give it some color besides grayishwhite and green.

Hotel staff were beyond nice and very helpful.  However, I doubt I would choose this particular facility again in the future for another event.

One thing:  They don't have a quick place to get coffee here, which is a major bummer for me, because I really needed to get my caffeine on.  Other Hiltons with starbucks/coffee counters inside have clearly spoiled me horribly.

This hotel is average, but below expectations for the Hilton brand.

Minus a star for the loud a/c.  It sounded like there was a hamster running on a wheel all night! Not cool. But the hotel is fine. It might be a little old, but it features big rooms (mine had a lovely view of Six Flags and the Rangers' Stadium), nice "La Source" toiletries, super comfy bed and pillows, my Hilton Honors preferences were noted, and the convenient shuttle to the airport and convention center saved me some money.  For $114/night, it wasn't a bad deal.  That even included internet since I had the "get connected" package. I'm curious about the newer "Hilton Garden Inn" across the street though, and I'll look into it if I'm in Arlington again.

Room- very outdated. The A/C was also broken until we had a repairman fix it.

    View- none

Location- decent, but hard to find

    Restaurant- delicious and very accommodating

The Sheraton Arlington is a much more pleasant stay.

What can I say I love staying in hotels.  When i first stayed at this hotel in March of 07 I knew i would be back.  i love this place and the beds are so comfy.  i am looking into getting one of these beds in my house plus the bedding.  OMG.  There really is not much else to look at, the grounds are not that picturesque but I can say that it is clean.

They are in the process of doing some construction so there was a lot of noise going on that was irritating.  my second time around i encountered a problem with my boyfriend not being able to get my room number, which was i guess somewhat justifiable after they explained it to me.  Also if i am paying so much for a room and staying multiple nights i should be able to put something in the hotel freeze or fridge and not have to go through a whole bunch of trouble.  well it was finally straightened out and resolved.  pretty much everyone on staff was pleasant except for a young man in the morning who had a very bad attitude, so i reported him to the manager.

All in all i love this hotel and look forward to my next trip to Texas to stay at this comfy spot.

There are a couple of resturants near by, gas stations, the amusement park is not to far and also the airpot is not that far.

I think this was visit number 2 here and it's almost down to a 1 star.

Remember the airline kiosk in the lobby that saves you time in the airport?  Didn't work.  The cash machine in the lobby?  Out of order.  The free shuttle to the airport?  It doesn't run early in the morning so I had to take a cab.

Oh, and a couple of my cohorts got sick on the food.  It was enough for one of them to pick up and move to another hotel.

Quality of front desk service and food is on the way down.  Breakfast items and service are much better than for dinner.  The staff in September's are great and I prefer to eat in the bar than in the restaurant.

They recently made half the front parking lot into valet only and it sits mostly empty.  It seems like the valey lot should be away from the front door so the rest of us don't have to park around the back of the hotel to get in.

Is this hotel the newest? no
Is this hotel the nicest? Yes but I mean nice as in nicest people.

My church, Mosaic, was doing an outreach program for Christmas Eve. Mosaic helps transitional people, who have previously been homeless, in Arlington with obtaining GED's and learning how to care for themselves. We needed a bigger space to celebrate Christmas Eve and the Hilton generously donated a large ballroom free of charge so we could house everyone and provide a hot dinner.

This was absolutely one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced.  My boyfriend and I spent one night at this hotel and immediately felt like we were on a dream vacation.  We were in the area to tour AT&T Stadium (I'm an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and this was my first time in the Dallas area).  Immediately upon pick-up (we used the complimentary shuttle from the airport), we were welcomed with friendly and helpful service.  Jordan, our shuttle driver, gave us restaurant recommendations and some personal insight on the hotel and the surrounding area.  Upon arrival, Ashley at the front desk was kind enough to give us a room with a view of the stadium (I was ELATED) and a free upgrade as we were so excited to be there and the hotel wasn't very busy that night.  We stopped at the bar for a couple of cocktails and the waitstaff there was also very friendly, giving us some tips about the area as well.  Jordan was kind enough to drive us to an amazing dinner at a restaurant he recommended - we were not disappointed.  We took an after-dinner dip in the pool although it was a bit chilly (but we're from the northeast, so it was warm to us!).  In the morning, we got the breakfast buffet which was impressive and delicious.  A staff member even helped my boyfriend who is on crutches bring the breakfast up to our room.  In the morning, Edgar and the woman at the desk were eager to hold our bags while we went on the tour, and also helped us get a cab to our rental car location when we got back.  Super speedy and efficient, we didn't wait at all.  We honestly didn't pass a single staff member who didn't ask if there was any way they could make our stay more comfortable.  I can't say enough good things about our stay here.  We hope to come back soon for a Cowboys game and will definitely be staying here.  Thank you so much!

Pro:  1.  Room was newly renovated and  attractively decorated with comfortable bedding.  Still has faint smell of new paint.  A/C, TV, etc. all worked perfectly. 2. Ten million renovation almost done and hotel is looking good throughout.  Decorators board displayed in lobby shows the materials being using in the bar upgrade.  Very nice.  3.  Convenient location. 608 has view of  6Flags.  4. Helpful personnel.

Con:  1.  I am a Hilton Honors Member and requested a room on the lowest floor possible.  This is in my profile.  I have claustrophobia and have a difficulty with elevators so use the stairs.  Called the morning of arrival to reaffirm the request.  I know they say this isn't guaranteed, but when your credit card guarantees the room, why can a particular location not be set aside?  Over the years this has not been an issue.  Well, upon arrival they say I'm on the 8th floor.  Not acceptable.  Finally, ended up on 6th, but the third floor is the first floor with guest rooms.  Someone at the desk said it says on my profile, "Lowest floor possible." To me that's the first floor that has guests.  If it means something else, I should have been informed YEARS ago.
Desk clerk said only the top few floors are considered high.  NOT SO.
I will be making a phone call to Hilton main reservations this week to complain.

    2.  Restroom needed back by meeting rooms.  Apparently, the closest one is adjacent to the computer stations.  That doesn't do much good if it's closed off when you arrive to use the facilities.  Is there even another one on the lobby level?

Rooms are a tad on the dated side, but they were clean. The AC worked great, as I love to bury the room temp in the summer. The outdoor pool is large, and they have lots of lounge chairs. This hotel is located on the Red Trolley line, so it's easy to get to/from the Ballpark. Lots of free parking, so I wouldn't pay for valet unless you happen to be the lazy type.

My Son and I were here for a Cowboy game.  We were upgraded to a junior suite and it was still bad. The windows were so dirty you honestly couldn't see out of them. The lamp shades were cracked... It was just horrible. The only good thing about this place was the bus service they arranged for their guests going to the stadium for the game.  Other than that.. save your money and stay at a Motel 6 for the same experience.

My question to the GM... Have you ever opened the door to room 1002?  I suggest you do!  Can you see the view out the window?  Disgusting.  If I had a some Windex and a roll of paper towels.. I could have gotten this review at least a three star!

It won't be long until this hotel becomes a Crowne Plaza or Clarion. It has potential, but is long in the tooth. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are OK and have flat screen TV's. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is very good as well as the service. The bar closes early and is not well stocked with top shelf liquors. The pool is nice with inside and outside access. They have a Precor fitness center, but the machines are not being maintained and some were inoperable.

Bottom Line - I thought the allergy-reducing room (currently only on half of the 5th floor) was nice and clean. I liked that there was an air purifier in the room, and housekeeping seems to be doing a good job at cleaning the rooms between guests.

I was in the DFW area for 3 nights, and had originally reserved a Hilton Garden Inn (in Fort Worth), but was so appalled at that hotel that I had to change hotels.  So the Hilton Arlington was what I switched to.  Boy was it day and night.

Check-in was fast (I had already done e-check in online at hhonors.com ).  The guy who checked me in was really nice (as was the lady who took my reservation over the phone the day prior). There is no executive lounge, but I don't really use those anyways.  They also gave me a small box of 4 chocolate truffles upon check-in (I think they at least give them to Diamond VIPs, maybe Golds, too).

Overall, the location is convenient to the DFW airport (I had a hire car), and traffic didn't seem all that bad.

My room rate was $160.65 + tax = approximately $187 for one night.

It was a non-eventful stay, and I had no problems with the cleanliness of the hotel, which is a good thing. I would consider staying here again.

Nice, clean and convenient to Arlington. Next door to six flags and half a mile from the ball park and football stadium. But the bed and pillows didn't work for me. Hard bed I would have slept better on the floor and the pillows way to soft I had to stack for of them together. Nice pool, but the restaurant down stairs was pricey for funky tasting food.

We checked in for the George Strait concert on a Friday at 1PM the front desk clerk informed us that our room was ready but check in wasn't until 3PM and if we wanted to check in early we would have to pay $20 for each hour WTF I'm paying $611.00 for two nights tacky as hell I guess the Hilton family is going broke and they have to nickel and dime their guest now? Out of principle we decided to hold out at the bar the bartender quested our situation and went and got a manager after buying us a round, the manager of accounting for the restaurant went and spoke to the GM who then over turned the desk clerk and allowed us to check in. Guess what room the desk clerk gave us? Yep the one by the elevator freaking priceless and they did this to someone with 15 years experience in the hotel industry!! I gave them 2 stars only because it was clean and the restaurant staff , who ever is training and running their front desk needs some serious training in customer service not customer inconvenience they already got that down!!

I am a Hilton Honors Member (Diamond), so I spend allot of time in Hotels throughout the year. I am very pleased with this property. I have been spending allot of time in the Dallas area and this is my hotel of choice. Staff has been courteous and helpful. The only recommendation I would make would be to expand the menu in the Restaurant. Otherwise very happy and would recommend.

Very nice hotel. I've stayed for week long business trips twice now. Customer service in every department is outstanding. They aim to please. Rooms good size, very clean,  comfy bed and updated (at least the ones I've been in). Restaurant/bar (RBar) food is very good. The only reason this doesn't garner five stars:  R Bar menu is not large enough food choice wise but does have a good wine selection (and I'm picky about that). There are several dining choices nearby. Lastly, you can hear your neighbor if they are on the loud side. Otherwise this place is great!!

When I walked into my room, I was immediately greeted with "Newly Renovated Room Smell". Most excellent! :)

Very easy 15-minute drive from DFW, this hotel is convenient to the Ballpark in Arlington and Six Flags.

Staff were exceedingly friendly upon check-in. Room is nicely appointed with a large flatscreen TV and plenty of well-placed outlets for your electronics.

Coffee maker in room as well.

This hotel has free lot parking. Always a nice plus.

We had a great stay.  The place is under renovation, but you would almost never know it as they are 99.9% done with their $10.5 Million upgrades other than the bar...and it looks great!  The service was great!  The meeting facilities were exactly what we needed and the beds were comfortable.  The room was nice and spacious.

My only complaint would be that the AC never really cooled the room to our liking.  It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't hibernating temps either.

All in all it was a great stay and did I mention that the service was great!

Returned over the weekend, looking forward to a better experience after a private message from the hotel owner account on Yelp.  They explained they've undergone a full renovation.  I went in with an open mind expecting a great experience.  I left rating it worse than my previous visit.

To be clear, I would not classify their improvements as a "full renovation." Instead, the rooms have been refurnished. Sure there's new linens, perhaps new furniture, but the core of the room is still aged.  The new bedding is, meh...the pillows entirely too big (even for my big inflated Yelp head). They had an HDTV with lots of HD channels, but no printed channel guide for the viewer.

One good thing was two free bottles of water placed in the room daily, and a mini fridge to keep them cool.

The room still suffers from too small of a bathroom, to an air conditioning system that has a thermostat programmed to lie to the occupant.  Press and hold the hot/cold buttons for five seconds and you'll see the room's actual temperature.  Mine ranged anywhere from 6-9 degrees warmer than the setting.  Inside the bathroom the vents are still in serious need of duct cleaning, as there's enough dust to fill a small stuffed animal, or dust bunny :-)

Housekeeping shorted me a bath towel on night #3.

Service wise the hotel lacks, or more precisely suffers.  Being on a ten day road stretch I submitted laundry to the front desk.  $85 worth of cleaning.  I return after 6pm to find that the hotel does not deliver your items to your room, and when you pick them up they neglect to give you everything.   So there I was at 3:30am day of departure searching for my shirts and socks, then stuffing them into my roller at the front desk at departure.

On day two the hotel's wifi wouldn't recognize my HHonors number, or promo code, so I billed Internet to the room, it was like pulling teeth convincing them to issue a credit.

Interestingly you can find parking close to the hotel entrance as it seems other guests get confused with the red fire lane pavement markings that are at the end of many spaces close to the Conrad restaurant.

The manager replied to my post on another site, very cocky and arrogant response.  Here's a tip, stop wasting time replying to reviews and put that same effort towards calling a duct cleaning service for your bathroom vents.

I booked this hotel because it had pretty good reviews and it was close to the Rangers Ballpark. The entry way is nicely kept and checking in was a breeze. I loved that they had a pool because it was hot hot hot while we were in town!

The rooms was clean, cool (thank you AC!), and had a great view of the water park, ball park, and the Dallas Stadium.

You can take the shuttle service to and from the game and only have to walk about a block to the ball park. It's only $10 a person for an ride in a small bus to the ball park while enjoying AC and usually a pleasant driver.

They have a restaurant and bar attached the the hotel, a little pricey but I find most hotel's fall into that category, which is nice if you want to grab a beer before your shuttle.

Great place to stay if you are visiting either for sports, business, or leisure.

The worst customer service for an allegedly 4 star hotel in my life...  My bf and I booked a 2-night stay here (through Hotwire) but, due to work and other crap,  we weren't able to come in the first night.  Came in for the second night and were given the most ridiculous run around.

First, this resting bitch face reception clerk told me that, because the room was booked through a "3rd party", I had to ask them (Hotwire) to "reinstate" my reservation.  Ok, sounds easy!  I go outside and call Hotwire, who called the hotel, and then said that the hotel wasn't able to accommodate our "late" check-in.  I'm sorry, whaaaat?!?  We are tired as hell and dealing with this stupidity is not something I'm trying to do right now (or ever!)...  I mean, if we booked two (2) nights, we should have 2 nights... without this "greeting" person giving me attitude.  Furthermore, why couldn't the bitchy clown tell me that herself?!  Why waste my time telling me to call Hotwire, blah blah blah... So, I went back and politely asked her these questions - she then said that she could, in fact, accommodate our stay but at more than double the price that we paid through Hotwire...  Umm, are you serious??  You cancel my (paid for) reservation, give me some dumb ass explanation, and then ask that I pay you a ridiculous amount to stay?!  Yes, you useless biatch... that sounds ah-mazing! (to clarify, we left)

In conclusion, I think this hotel is super duper shady... if they don't want to deal with "3rd" parties (which seemed to be the root of the problem), they shouldn't be selling through "3rd" parties.  However, they like to get their money every way possible but then end up treating their guests a certain type of way based on how you booked your stay.  Beyond unethical behavior...

    I'm a 3.5

My friend got married here; most of the wedding party stayed here. The logistics of that arrangement, btw, were great: we were already where we needed to be and could run back to our rooms when needed - handy!

Our stay was a mixed bag, but overall pleasant enough to try it again.

    The good:
The new furnishings and deco are nice. A King Suite was a comfortable size for hanging out to catch up and for a bunch of girls to get ready.

There's a mini-fridge in the TV cabinet, which served us well, if cooling was a little wonky at first. (Pro tip: pull fridge out to edge of cabinet to remove racks to fit tall bottles inside upright.)

Weird but cool: bottle openers mounted inside the door jamb of bathroom. (Weird and kinda uncool? No vent in said restroom.)

A/C seemed to struggle during the day and freeze us at night. Finally realized it was the way heat came through the otherwise nice floor-length windows - even with curtains shut.

Some staff was awesome: my porter at check-in was friendly, helpful, and funny. Sam at the bar/restaurant was fantastic. Several front desk girls were unenthusiastic and somewhat vacuous. (Had a wifi connection issue; was given nonsensical excuses for it not working before learning the next day the password had been changed and apparently not communicated properly. Also check-out billing mixup shenanigans for the newly wedded couple.) But then one time I needed a new key to my room - stat - and the front desk attendant gave me no trouble and acted quickly. My friend experienced mixed service from event coordinators: things would be taken care of by Hilton staff, then the story would change. This put extra stress on the bride, which was a bit tacky. The staff working the wedding, however, especially the bartender, were efficient and fun. (The arrangement for charging at the bar, though, seemed a bit shady: if you hold an event here and pay for some amount of booze to be complimentary for your guests,  maybe ask for markings so you can clearly see which alcohol has already been paid..)

The food in the restaurant, while not 5-star-stellar, was inventive enough and tasty enough for the price-point. Cocktails were tasty. (See especially Texas Peach and The Bee's Knees.) Coffee for breakfast was better than I feared it'd be.

Came to town for the weekend and chose this hotel based on checking it out online & location to the things we had planned.
The hotel is very modern at first look, loved the decor in the restaurant bar area & the room was very clean and had a Art Deco vibe with the velour turquoise chaise and matching chair. The king size bed was exceptionally comfy and had nice large pillows too. It was drop a pin quiet even though the parking lot was fairly full. Had a cool view of the swimming pool too. Last but def not least, all of the staff were extremely friendly & helpful.
Very impressed with the Hotel Arlington and would def stay there again and recommend to anyone coming to the area! Keep up the great work!
