Cheap, yes. But pretty darn creepy... I was in the section that faced the abandoned hotel next door, with broken windows and god-knows-who hangin' out at night. Empty parking lot too, out of view of the staff or front desk: I was scampering for my door after it got dark.
The last night I was there, of course a loud yelling match broke out in the parking lot at two a.m. (when these things generally break out, as that's when bars close...). Doors were slammed, car engines were gunned, and then they returned an hour later.
The curse of cheap motels.
Breakfast was a diabetic's nightmare: hostess mini donuts and frosted cheese pastry, or sugar-coated cereal. The juice and coffee were good though. And, the location was good.
Wifi signal was so bad that I had to rely on my smartphone for email. Meh.

For $60.00 a night, we got a king-size bed, a full bathroom, a dainty little mini-fridge, and ice cold a/c unit... not to mention it was located within a short drive from Fiesta Texas...how in the hell can I complain about... the mysterious fruit under the bed, the creepy long-term tenant next door, the faint musk in the air, or the tacky picture frame that gave you the prices on everything (including the frame itself) if you decided Gram's might totally love the decor.
I mean seriously I guess I could complain because I saw the wicked awesome deals on Groupon a little too damn late--but on the flipside the staff was personable and attentive and Rodeway Inn served its overall purpose, I slept soundly...as I dreamt about the mysterious rotting fruit.. and made it to Six Flags with time to kill.

It was cheap, I mean wicked cheap for the price. This is a no frills hotel, with great access to Jerry World.
The place had all I need: Cleanliness, easy parking, rates were what they said they would be, locking doors, and cable.
I mean if you came for the amusement parks and stuff have fun there. This Hotel isn't a place of leisure, but you can go find all that.
I believe it had changed ownership/ name in Jan 2010, maybe that's why it was so cheap.
A word of Advice do not order a pizza from their restaurant (they may fool you because the name is different, but the address is the same) It's ass...
