The location was great for us for what we wanted to do. We did a lot of site seeing/Driving. It is about 10 to 15mins down Sunset Blvd to Beverly Hills and Hollywood and about 15 Mins to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Beach. Overall When we come back to Los Angeles Cal we will most likely stay here again. The free parking is a big saver. We checked a number of other hotels in the area an the price range from $20 to $35 a day + Tip which is a little crazy I think being From a little town outside of Philadelphia PA. I rate This Hotel AAA+++

No WiFi in rooms or in the lobby. No HBO or half the channels listed in room. Bed comfortable and in room mini fridge was cold. Limited towels and soap in room. If you just need a room for the night that's what you get. Location not the greatest either - car broke down so I just needed room to rest for the night and couple of delivery service for food did the trick.

"Wireless" does NOT mean 'wireless in the lobby'."
I will say straight-up that the employees were nice and my room was clean, never mind the cock roach or two I encountered. (Not being a jerk but I saw two so I'm being factual.) Never mind the continental breakfast sometimes didn't get set up till 6:30 AM. (I tried being low-carb/Atkins during my trip and failed). It was generally an OK place and it was fine for what I wanted...
Seriously. Travelocity lists the place as having wireless which is a requirement because I travel for business. Instead when I get there I find the 'wireless' consists of a single D-Link router in the maintenance room whose range and reliability depends on whether the door is closed and whether it overheated. Several times it had to be shut down and rebooted, as soon as more than 2 or 3 people were on it the thing went to pot. It was horrible. If I wanted wi-fi I either had to go to the lobby or go to Starbucks. Thank God my company sent me a My Fi!
Word to ABVI: It is in your best interest to replace that router with at least one modern long-range wireless router, such as an Asus N66U or an AC1900. At least one the first floor. And for Heaven's sake set it up so it's broadcasting from the ceiling instead of a maintenance closet. (I'm technical, I get paid for this, so listen.) Oh, if you REALLY want to go whole-hog set up a decent router on each floor with some repeaters. It would be worth it.
On a side note, sadly I will say that this is the first place I truly felt like I had to carry my electronics with me, instead of leaving anything back at the hotel. They have warnings about that, of course, and it made me extra paranoid. Too bad the trunk of my car rental wouldn't open, I was stuck lugging that stuff even when shopping at Target.
P.S. The rooms include very frosty refrigerators. Save money and just buy your food. Oh, and I will admit the beds are comfy, at least mine was. If not for the wireless issue I'd give them 3 stars.

Yikes. Steer clear of this place. It is very obvious that they dont clean or maintain this hotel. It is not worthy of One star.

When I came to check in, the front desk was really friendly and quick to get me into my room. When I got into the room I was surprised by how clean and modern it was. The only thing this hotel lacked was a pool and a mini fridge. The other thing I didn't like was the price. Don't get me wrong this is a nice hotel in a great location but not for the price they charged.
