History

Established in 1982.

In 1982 is was opened originally as a Brock Residence Inn and was the first all-suite hotel.  After being in business for two years, it was then purchased to become a Residence Inn. The Marriott then purchased it as its first Residence Inn in El Paso, TX. Marriot owned the property for about 8 years. In 1990, it was finally brought into the Chase & Woodfin family. Chase Suite Hotel is owned and managed under The Hardage Group along with 14 other hotels nation wide.

I had an issue with room cleanliness here - I contacted the desk folks at the time and then when checking out.  No one really cared.  Left a bad review at TripAdvisor - the manager called me the next day.  He comped the room even though I did not ask.   I was pleasantly surprised with his response.  I would take a good look at your room and sheets etc before I left the room after checking in - but other than that the room was pleasant, it was fairly loud given the other guests but at the end of the day it worked out.    The manager Jorge is responsive once you reach him.    I rate the room as 'pricey' not for the absolute cost but for the value received which really is only so-so.  B-fast quality was b quality as well.  

Does NOT have wireless internet in the rooms - if traveling be sure to bring a cable.   Wireless in the lobby.

The place is a little old, but the facility an accommodations  was well worth the price. Stayed for 11 days, breakfast and dinner was included. Place has two pools and grills are provided for residents to use.

First room they give me had a leaking roof, switched us to a new room . The new room had the entire carpet soaked from the water heater . To top it off, sheets were stained and towels had urine stains on them. This place is getting run down with the ghetto contract workers that stay there for extended periods. Our neighbor was out until 4 am drinking/ smoking  and yelling on the phone at 4am. Beer bottles everywhere , disgusting !  Mario the manager was very apologetic and offered to get me a new room. Save your money, and time . Stay elsewhere

This is a very nice place with awesome customer service. We are military and moving here. We stayed with them for over a month and they helped us out many times. We got a great deal and they even saved us the tax in the bill. They also have free breakfast and dinner during the week. The food is pretty good and helpful when your out house hunting. I would highly recommend staying here if your military and have a family. They have 2 bedrooms and kitchen and living rooms...it was awesome!!

Being pregnant I'm highly sensitive to smells (not saying they smelled bad, but chemicals give me headaches) and the hotel receptionist was very understanding and let me try out four hotel rooms till I was satisfied. I highly recommend dealing with Victoria S. she went above and beyond what one would expect; a diamond in the rough.

The place is pretty good for the price. A nice studio, full kitchen, sofa bed,comfy bed. If i was with family id come here. Theres a nice pool right outside my suite. I just fell in love how the small space was set up to be everything you would need. Very friendly staff.

This place is very nice. Couch, kitchen with dishes and cooking pans, flat screen tv, very comfortable bed. Excellent customer service. I locked my room card in my room on accident and they had no problem giving me another. Make this your place to stay if you're in el paso, texas.

I don't know what the bad reviews are about. I was actually nervous because of  them.
Yes the place is a little old but this is a great place!
They picked me up from the airport. I got my own studio apartment. Very clean. Fully furnished. The kitchen is completely stocked.
I needed to go to the mall, and they drove me there and picked me up.
They also do complimentary breakfast and dinner. I mean hello! Where elese do you get all that?
The staff is very helpful and there's a little community here. I think people stay here for long terms of times and I see why.

I was VERY disappointed with my entire interaction with this hotel. I had booked and confirmed eight rooms for a basketball tournament. All eight rooms were secured with a credit card and I had a confirmation number for each room.  3 days before check in, I was told that they could no longer accommodate us, other guests had decided to extend their stay. As most other rooms that would accommodate families in the area were already booked with such late notice, I was forced to try to work with Chase Hotel.  Of the eight rooms that I had confirmed, they were only able to give us 4.  We were offered rooms smaller than those booked and confirmed, requiring families to split up.  Several families found other accommodations so we reluctantly accepted the rooms.  

After checking in, we found the hotel to be extremely dilapidated.  Each of the 6 rooms had a sofa that was so disgusting that it had to be covered with a blanket before one would sit on it.  Coffee makers were missing carafes, drawers were missing, counters peeling, doors would not close and everything was just generally run down.  

Despite having to sign an agreement for each room about noise levels, one patron outside of our group was playing music well into the night and yelling to his friends.  Repeated calls to the front desk did not stop the noise.  Dog excrement lined the sidewalks and was not cleaned the entire three days of our stay.  

The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful with directions but the management was rude in dealing with cancelling confirmed reservations.  They did not respond to repeated phone calls or emails and were generally unprofessional.  
With the number of hotels in this direct area, save a few dollars and go to a hotel that is clean, not falling down and treats a customer fairly.

On my way to Austin from San Diego I needed to stop and rest for the night and I decided to stay at the Chase Suite Hotel. My room was spacious, clean and relaxing with a full kitchen, a fireplace, living room area and large restroom. The hotel was clean and quite with friendly staff. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here and will be staying here again the next time I drive to California from Texas. The whole process was effortless and a great value when you compare the competition which were priced $50 to $80 more per night.

I reserved my room for work purposes over a month in advance. Upon arriving around 5:00 pm to check in, I was informed they were waiting for me to arrive. I was informed there was no room available, as there was a gas leak. I understand these things happen and head towards the other hotel where they reserved a room for me. However, I'm a little agitated they did not call to let me know I could not check in. Upon arriving to the second hotel, the outside is not attractive as it has rusty doors and yellow caution tape around the pool. The next day, I was called and asked if I would return. I explained I would because the hotel chosen for me was not comparable. Thinking I was complementing them, they thanked me. I proceeded to explain it was not a compliment. I was upset. Upon arriving at the hotel to check in I voiced my disapproval again. I was told it was out of their control and sent to a room which reeks of smoke, is old and out dated, and dingy at best.
The shower tub does not drain and the curtain floats in the water. After digging through towels, I managed to find one without hair on it. The floor was soaked, be sure to put a towel down. The hand towels were covered in black marks. Just awful.
Since I have left I have contacted the office 3 times asking for proof that I was sent to another hotel, as I need it for my work records. It still has not arrived...3 days later and a call each day.

Absolutely terrible, could not be worse!! Old, run down, and disgustingly dirty. Think I'm exaggerating??? See the pictures I posted (eg., hair on bed, dirty coffee mugs, cigarette burned counter in supposed non-smoking room). We ended up demanding a refund and going elsewhere. Disgusting!!

If it had a better breakfast, it might be 5 stars.  The room is big, the TV is nice, it has a full kitchen and a spacious bathroom.  It's nicer and better equipped than my apartment in CA!  Hands down my first choice for a long stay in El Paso.

Very friendly, they're more like apartments then a hotel. They have two swimming pools, one hot tub, a community center,

laundry facilities. Monday through Thursday there is a social hour with free drinks and food and breakfast is seven days a week. I'd highly recommend this place, we were there for a month and I'd stay there again...also very pet friendly:)
