Let's start with the staff. They are so unhelpful. They have a Starbucks in the lobby, except they were closed on Sunday morning at 11:30. I spoke to a worker there and she said they reopen at 5:00. When I spoke to the front desk the next day about it, they said they are open all the time, just have to ask the front desk. Whey didn't they say that the first time! Then there's coffee in another part of the lobby, empty! Rooms don't have fans in the bathroom, so steam from showers will linger. Elevators super slow. The staff were sorting laundry sheets in the lobby when we came in for a late night check in (kinda weird). The beds are comfortable though, and it's better than a motel 6, but I got a $59 special price so can't be too picky I guess. Rooms overall are clean, and newer interiors with modern decor. Just don't expect any help from the staff, because they will look at you like you have a 3rd eyeball!

I stumbled on to this courtyard due to a traffic jam, must have been my lucky day.  Front staff, Romo, was the nicest, most professional kid I have met in a long time!  We were in our room within a few minutes!

Room was very clean, comfortable, and the a/c was cold.

Romo had the shuttle driver give us a ride to dinner, nice touch!  Eddie the driver was also super nice!

Five stars for sure!

I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and rarely get disappointed.  But, like any chain, some properties are better than others.  I lucked into finding this hotel because the full service Marriott at the Airport didn't have any holiday specials - e.g. breakfast included in a reduced price room.  This is one of the cleanest and nicest Marriott hotels I have stayed at.  Service is first class.  Rooms are spotless, and the entire property is clean.  We had a room facing the freeway - but due to great sound dampening and acoustic control we couldn't hear any highway noise - very nice!  We will definitely be back on our next visit to El Paso!

Great location for what we were in El Paso for. Convenient to many of the things you will want to do while in town.

Kudos to the hotel for all of their special attention.
They were very accommodating when it came to special storage needs that we had and for fixing a corporate screw up that indicated we were to get an American breakfast with our room rate. They promptly arranged a buffet for all the guests on Saturday and Sunday. They clearly went out of their way. They get what customer service is all about. Without exception, every staff member that we came across was simply first class.

Looking for a great place to stay in El Paso ... make it the Courtyard El Paso Airport.
We are certainly glad we did.

I stay in plenty of various chain- hotels..... and this Courtyard is totally fine, as far as Courtyard standards go.

Like many other El Paso properties, it's located just off the busy 10 freeway. Which is convenient... although some pretty noisy traffic. When checking in, ask for a room furthest away from the freeway.

The staff was totally fine at check-in and friendly. I even checked in earlier than the arrival time, and my room was all nice and ready for me. They even had my specific requests of "feather-free" pillows, since I'm allergic to practically everything.

Room was comfortable...everything again, was your basic standard Courtyard-fare.

Complimentary WiFi...complimentary parking... and complimentary coffee in the morning.

And 24/7 gym with some great Life Fitness treadmills, elliptical, and recumbent bike. Few weights.

I've been here less than 24hrs, I like the staff Alejondrea was working the front desk when we checked in. Very friendly courteous and helpful staff make it a great location. It is very clean has a pool and jacuzzi and is close to Fort Bliss. We have 2 rooms here and I'm paying half the price. Thanks to my great friend and brothah RT.

Not much is nearby, but this is a great Courtyard.  Great front desk.  Small food, coffee, beer available in lobby.  Clean, new rooms.  Outdoor pool.  Free internet.  Free parking

This Courtyard was an OK one.  I'm a gold Marriott rewards member, so I've stayed at a lot of different Marriott properties for both business and pleasure.  I usually like Courtyards because they are fairly reliable in quality.
This one dropped the ball a bit in my opinion.
CONS:
The room was quite cramped for a Courtyard, I thought.  I could not roll my suitcase in the gap between my bedside table and the tv stand.
The water pressure was NOT good, and the shower curtain was not properly hung.  I feel I should explain that - they use the bowed curtain rods to give more space in the shower so the curtain bows out in the middle.  Except they mounted the bowed rod so that the outermost part of the bow was actually even with the INSIDE of the tub.  I barely had room to shower without hitting the curtain, even when standing sideways to avoid it.
There were no outlets next to the bed for charging my laptop or phone, which is something I almost always have at a Marriott property.

PROS:
Clean, well taken care of property.
New lobby and mostly updated rooms (a few years ago I think).
Room service was prompt and did a good job.
Food at the Bistro was as expected, not stellar but standard.

I know I sound like I'm nitpicking here, and I am!  But when you travel half your time on business and have to live in hotels for a week...you start to get picky.  Because these places are HOME as often as home is.
When I returned two weeks later, I stayed at the Residence Inn nearby (much superior).

As far as Marriott Courtyard properties go, this is one of the best I have stayed at.  They offer a free airport shuttle.  Just give them a call and they will be there in 10 minutes.  This Courtyard has been renovated to the new Courtyard style.  Staff is super friendly and willing to accommodate you.  Rooms were fresh and clean.  My only complaint is that I called for a 6:30am wake up call.  Next day I received a wake up call at 5am.  Not fun, especially when you can't go back to sleep!

I'll stay here again while on business.  Very convenient to the airport and Ft Bliss.

My family and I booked a double queen bed room and it was very spacious and clean! I felt very comfortable although in our room, there were not that many outlets. (I forgot to bring my power strip, boo!). Free wireless internet, pool being open until 11PM, and the gym being available 24 hours were definitely all pluses. No complimentary breakfast or coffee though! The lobby area's decor was contemporary and had many amenities for guests. There was a little convenience store, a cafe, a lounging area, as well as easy access to the pool and gym area. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard El Paso Airport again for my next visit!

I'm a platinum elite Marriott member and have stayed over 150 nights in Marriott's this year.  I have seen my share of hotels and I have stayed in all 3 Marriott properties here in El Paso. I think they all have different perks.

This is a solid option close to the freeway. I've always felt the "west side" of El Paso is a bit more safe but haven't had any issues the few tines I've been here. Its very clean but a bit off the beaten path.  There is a nice mall and the new Fountains shopping center very close by.  Its right off the freeway an minutes from the airport so a great access spot if you're working all over el Paso.

The prices can be a bit higher than other Courtyards and its both a step above average but overall a great property.

Very clean and great staff. The alarm was set for 4am by previous guest, so thanks for that.  And the breakfast doesn't start until 7am on the weekends. A little late for an early rising traveler to benefit from.

One of the worst Marriott stays I've ever had. I travel quite a bit, and always stay at a Marriott property. First, when I walked up to the front desk to get a room, he wouldn't give me the military rate. The "best he could do" was $10 off. I did a quick check on the Marriott website, and the military rate was $100 less! I even showed the gentleman (Arthur) working, and he said he couldn't do it. I had to book online. Second, they put me in a room facing the highway, and there is nearly no insulation. The freeway was louder then the TV. Third, when I went to take a shower, the faucet was sideways, and the shower valve was broken. Took me a solid five minutes to make the shower head work. I was just passing through, so I can't speak to the quality of other properties in El Paso, but this is one I'll never return to.

Wonderful place to stay! Super clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff!  Great stay!  Room was quiet, had my own balcony overlooking the pool to step out on for a cigarette and to enjoy the beautiful weather!  Beds were comfy! Water was hot! The staff helped set me up with transportation during my stay!  Free shuttle to and from airport!  Enjoyed my stay and will be returning to this hotel for my future trips!

Pro: Clean, simple, free parking, easy access. Nice staff

Con: I almost gave it 2 stars for this--the TV is at the  side of the bed! We drove 8 hrs stopped for an easy night , to rest and watch TV . We had  to watch TV over our right shoulders -- our necks hurt. We stayed in this same hotel on the way up-- same thing.

Stayed here for a few nights. Very clean and great customer service from the staff! The room was pretty decent size. The bed was not the best but comfortable. Had a good night and peaceful sleep. Overall, my stay here was great and thanks to an excellent and friendly customer service from Mary! I will definitely stay here again.
